The worst run Walgreens I have ever seen. There is NEVER anyone at the front counter. I constantly have to walk around the store to find someone working there when I need to checkout. The pharmacy is 100% late every time on filling prescriptions. For f**s sake hire more staff! read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I strongly advise against applying or working here. The management is unprofessional, and there's a clear sense of favoritism among certain team members. The environment feels hostile, and morale is low. Many employees feel trapped and unable to speak out for fear of retaliation. The issues behind the scenes are real, and I believe potential applicants deserve to know what they might be walking into. There are plenty of other places to work where you'll be treated with respect, and I'd recommend exploring those options before settling for this one. I hope I can give a zero star. I went to this location to take a picture that I need ASAP and the manager there he said first that the printer is broken and he can't print out the picture so I told him I don't want it in a hard copy anyway because I'll use it for a digital resume, so I can get a digital copy, so he took couple seconds thinking and said alright the system is down and I can't even give you a digital copy, so he was definitely lying and don't want to work or he's having a bad day or so because I see the computers are working properly with no problem. i have never seen a more incompetent drug store in my life. The pharmacy cannot seem to figure out when their customer's prescription needs to be refilled and are consistently "out of stock." Surely they have inventory control and supply chain systems that every drug store on the planet has but they never can seem to get it together. And when it is ready? They bombard you with notifications to pick it up. I'll be moving my prescriptions out of there to someplace where they have hired someone who has a brain. read more

I watched an angry customer be extremely rude to a Walgreens employee. The customer was being impatient and it was not the employee's fault at all. When I got to the front of the line the employee was extremely kind and helpful despite him just experiencing a terrible lack of kindness by a customer. I thought that the young gentleman had amazing customer service and should be rewarded for how quickly he could move past the incident in order to help other customers. I don't remember his name but he was a young man wearing a jacket and worked at the registers on 6/21/2022. Came here to grab a few things than constantly felt watched by the makeup lady whom I couldn't hear a dang thing she was saying to me under her mask. Then I go to checkout, tell the guy I want a printed receipt and all that ended up printing were 2 coupons, wtheck. Not sure how I spent almost $80 but I guess if I had my receipt I'd know. We are transferring our pharmacy needs to any other pharmacy than this Walgreens. I am sick and tired of these pharmacists not refilling my prescriptions until there is only two days left. This store has a photo center which claims to offer one hour photo. Three different times, I placed orders and stopped by 3-4 hours after the promised time. Each time, the staff person said "our machine is down" and simply shrugged. I know, shame on me for giving them so many chances, but lesson finally learned. On the upside, the Sycolin Road location has great customer service, which indicates there must be an issue with store management because both of these stores are presumably pulling from the same labor pool with drastically different levels of service. read more

This review is for the pharmacy only - While I always respect foreign language and culture, when you work in a pharmacy where you are dealing with prescription drugs, you must speak intelligible English, plain and simple. We do not feel confident receiving or discussing our prescriptions when the person dispersing them cannot speak English and fully pronounce and understand what is being discussed. For just this experience alone I am writing this review. Every time I have been coming to this wall greens, which is literally once a week I have always had good experiences. The staff there is great on most occasions. But this occasion was not like any other. When I entered the store I went to pick up several items not knowing that I may need a cart. So instead of walking to the front door where I knew I would set off the alarms with the items in my hand I simply saw an associate working there and I simply asked her if she could just grab me a handheld cart. I explained that I didn't want to go by the door with my items in my hand. She then proceeded to tell me to get a shopping cart instead. I explained that I only needed a handheld one and I asked as nicely as possible if she could just grab it. She then went on over to the door grabbed the cart with so much attitude and slammed it on to the counter and walked away. I have never written a review. I usually tend to let things go. But this time I just couldn't. I have never felt so disrespected as a customer. I work in the retail world and customer service is very big and very important to me. I then went on and asked an associate who the woman was and what her title was. The associates name was Ashley but she didn't really seem like she wanted to give me the other woman's name. All I could find out was that the woman is a shift leader, she is tall and she has a short pixie style haircut. Her name sounds like Ridgu. (Please excuse the spelling) . I then went on to call the store to ask for a manager and Ashlee picked up the phone and simply said there is no manager in today and hung up the phone. Again the level of customer service is so subpar at this location. Usually I have great service but today my experience alone canceled out all of the other times. read more

Every time I come here it takes forever for them to get everything together and they always have customers complaining about it but even then they never move any quicker. The retail part of this Walgreens is wonderful. The pharmacy is awful. 3 tries to get through to the pharmacy to ask a question (hung up on twice after being on hold for over 15 minutes at a time). Then someone snaps hello at me. When I ask why my medication is not ready I am snapped at again that despite my insurance (I called them) allowing it to be filled early they wont allow it. I need to get my doctor to put in writing that I'm going out of town and then they might fill it. Given its evening and tomorrow is Saturday I have no way to do it. Walgreens has had my refill request for several days but didn't bother to let me know there was a problem and I needed my doctor to play travel agent. This is not a Walgreens policy. I spoke to people at the headquarters. This is one pharmacist deciding I'm not allowed to do something that my doctor and insurance have approved. read more

I was just looking up the phone number to this Walgreens since I have a new phone - this has been my pharmacy for many years now. Beyond shocked to see such very low ratings. This store is so clean, very convenient, easy to get in and out of, plus there is a drivethru, they have great bargains and a huge selection. They even sell quite a few wines - what's not to love?!! But more importantly, the pharmacy staff - Laura H., Michelle R., and Funmilayo are the kindest, sweetest, most professional and caring of any pharmacy staff I have ever encountered. If they don't have what you need, they literally drop everything and start calling around. I have been meaning to say something to their manager for a long time now because they deserve major kudos. They even pointed out discounts to me that I was completely unaware of for an item not covered by my insurance and saved me about $50 just on that one visit. There is never any eye rolling or sighing when you pull up to the window asking them to also key in your rewards number or if you go up to the counter with a ton of other items. I alway offer to take those up front to ring them separately and they always insist on ringing everything for me. Plus it's not like they aren't busy. They truly are (take a look at all the scripts filled along the back wall) but the actually CARE, something that is a rarity when you try to save on prescriptions by going to the local Walmart, Costco or Target. I feel bad that they have so much pressure with quotas and such for refills according to what I've read on the net. They should be able to focus on what they went to school for and not have to wear a salesman hat on top of it all. I would imagine it must be pretty stressful but they handle it with style and grace. I truly would fill every prescription here if it wasn't for the mail order program pushed by my employer being cheaper for items filled as a 3 month supply. In case you can't tell, I absolutely love my pharmacy. I would suggest you try it once and see if you aren't in agreement. They are amazing. read more

I called before driving there to see if I could pick up OTC in the drive thru because my 1/u old was asleep in the car. The pharmacist staff on the phone said yes. When I got there the woman at the drive thru told me I needed to come in. There are dozens of pharmacies in this area. This one has horrible customer service! read more
