Even though it's old and local there are some very cool things in this store. Weavers has a wide selection of many different items- clothing, makeup, shoes, home goods, luggage. There is a personalized touch to this store and they get to know you by name. The only drawback is the parking situation and it's not Weavers fault. The prices are very reasonable and the merchandise is very contemporary. There's something for everyone at Weavers.

Blow OUT or BLOW STYLE? What's the difference to you? Because I am a curly haired gal, I…read morespecifically asked for a blow dry experienced stylist when making the appointment. I was disappointed on this visit. My initial experience: The staff take EXCELLENT Precaution for all consumers with temperature checks and asking all questions about any potential exposure - KUDOS to the management team. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about products which I have appreciated on visits. This time, I thought let me test out the salon and get a "Blow Out" - I knew as soon as I sat in the chair and the hair stylist dried my hair that I was not getting a blowout, which defined by my previous experience is like heaven. A blowout is when the stylist works your hair straight, so that it lasts a few days. So that you can feel glamorous walking out the door. Don't get me wrong, Liz was great, she was appreciative of my thick hair, treated my scalp tenderly, explained the products and explained how she might use a flat brush vs a round brush on my hair. I did NOT feel glamorous at the end. I asked about the heat setting not being applied to my hair, why she didn't work my curly roots, and when she was done, I told her "this wont last a day". my roots were curly giving me volume. Liz explained perfectly well about hair and scalp care and did her best with my hair. She was engaging and a great conversationalist. AND I appreciate her attempt to work with my hair. I have coil 3 curl and was not content with what a "blow out service" is at this salon. If you are looking for a "Dry Bar blowout / blow dry service" - this is not the place. They have an awesome selection of products with great prices! - in search for a local hair stylist that knows how to work their blow dryer for curly hair.

The staff here at Sally's always seems as if they never want to be here, but today I had the worst experience from the clerk - Taylor. I have been doing my own nails for almost 3 years now and I come here to get all my supplies. I like to shop in person than online so I know what I'm getting. Last time I was in a rush and grabbed the wrong powder color and needed to exchange for the same size and different color today. Taylor came back with what I thought was the same size and the color I needed, but it was a bigger size so it was an up charge. Taylor failed to communicate that with me prior to ringing it up. I didn't bring my wallet because usually even exchanges you don't pay anything. I let her know I would have to go back to the car and get my wallet and I'm assuming she thought I wasn't coming back at all and snatched both the products back and said very sarcastically "have a great day". This kind of service is disappointing especially because I spend so much money here and come here frequently. I hope that Sally's can put customer service at the top of their priority list in the future, because this makes me want to drive to another town and shop there.
