Date: Sunday, December 28th, 2025 Time: around 4am I had no idea there was a Walgreens behind Resorts World. When we found that out, we had to stop by. We had just had food at the taco shop across the street, so this was on the way back. The hubby and I needed waters, red bull, etc, for our room, so we picked up the items here. For water, we got Crystal Geyser - 24 pack for $6.49. Also grabbed some cough drops, soda, etc. One of my girlfriends is a wine drinker, so she picked up a bottle of wine. Pricing at Walgreens is better than hitting up the convenience store at the hotel, so even if it's pricey compared to home, it's still a better deal. Earlier, the hub's cousin stopped by and grabbed us a bottle of liquor. I've frequented other Walgreens on the strip and they always carry Monkey Shoulder. For a scotch, it is fairly priced, so we always grab for the room while on vacay. Unfortunately, their scotch selection here was not that varied. We ended up with a bottle of I believe Glenlivet for like $70. Convenient for the normal provision. I just wish their liquor selection was better. REVIEW #3950 read more

The family was able to replenish and rehydrate since they refuse to give you complimentary ice water even when buying expensive meals, which is criminal when you spend over $100 on a dinner but they won't give you a drink. It is a good thing to plan on coming here instead of shopping at the hotels to supplement items for your room and your visit. read more

Having issues with Walgreen's, specifically, the Southern Highland's location? It's no surprise. I'll start with their call-back service, which, by the way, seems to be another nonfunctioning service. 1. My partner placed a call at 11:29 AM on 07/23/2025. He was checking the status of his prescription. After being on hold for 1 minute and 27 seconds, the option for a call back was offered. He was advised the call back would be a 4 minute wait. Right now, it's been more than one hour, and there has been no call back. 2. I worked in IT for a major corporation. Therefore, I often notice how situations can be resolved with just a few simple lines of programming code. I noticed Walgreen's does not "trap" certain issues, causing disgruntled customers. I spoke with the manager of the store regarding the issue. I was advised "It's above my pay grade." I suggested he submit the issue to his direct report, or higher. He stated he simply didn't have the time. 3. My partner needed a prescription refilled prior to leaving town for family issues. A pharmacy employee advised him to get a form from his physician, and provide proof of the flights. He did, and took it into the pharmacy. The pharmacy employee stated she would make copies of the paperwork, note the file, and there would be no problem. When I arrived to pick up the medications (previously approved), I was denied, and asked to bring the "paperwork." My partner was already in New York, as he flew out the day before the approved pickup. He had been assured there would be no problems. They put me through hoops before I was able to get the medications, and it was a long wait. I had to have my partner send all the paperwork, via email, and present it to Walgreens again. We continue to go to Walgreens for convenience, but that's about to change. Eliminate the problem with this store, and find another vendor. It's obvious they will not take steps to make things more convenient for the customers. By the way, I am filling out a complaint form for Walgreen's Corporate Headquarters, and this post will be added to other popular review spots. P.S. Don't blame the employees. After all, they aren't in a position to make decisions, and it's above their pay grade. read more

Being on east coast time in Las Vegas we were waking up pretty early. One morning we walked from the Strat to the walgreens at ~7:30 AM for some waters etc. Upon leaving the store (which had an armed security guard) there was this dude glaring at us beating his cane against the scaffolding that was set up around the store. On the way back to the hotel there were a couple guys getting arrested on the side of the road. The store is fine but not in a very savory spot, but I think you're fine if you keep your wits about you. read more

After settling in my room I made my way across the street to procure some snacks and drinks for my room. It is usually what I do first when I arrive at my destination. I was lucky that this was so close as I was used to having to travel a bit before being able to do so. It's not the best Walgreens that I have been to. Actually I don't prefer Walgreens when I go places, I prefer a rival. Came in here with nothing in mind to grab but water and small snacks. I knew my stay would be short, but I still needed items. I went directly for the snack aisle, picked up a few things. I then made my way to the cooler/drink aisle. Open letter to Walgreens las Vegas headquarters!!! Me and my son are deeply aggravated after the service we received at the Walgreens at 3025 Las Vegas Blvd S. location across from Resorts World in Las Vegas. During a recent visit with my son, who is 28 years old, we encountered a terrible situation at the checkout. My son selected two beers and presented his driver's license, which confirms his age as 28. Despite this, the woman cashier, who exhibited unprofessional rude and racist behavior, requested my ID as well in a really bad manner. I explained that my ID was in my hotel room and that I was not purchasing the beer for myself, as I do not drink. Given that I am 68 years old, I found this request both unreasonable and discriminatory and it really take me aback. The cashier's response was to refuse the sale and prohibit my son from returning to the store for 24 hours!! Can you believe this!!! This treatment was not only terribly embarrassing but also felt unjust and excessive since we didn't do nothing wrong!! and found ourselves treated as criminals !!! I am appalled by the way we were treated and the public humiliation we experienced. Such behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on Walgreens. For comparison, CVS provides a much more respectful and accommodating customer service experience. I urge Walgreens to address this issue with this employee and ensure that all of your employees uphold professional standards and treat all customers with dignity and respect. To the public that is reading this letter please denounce this outrageous conducts and send open letters to the headquarters !!! This guys deserve to become accountable and change or this business will loose us and will choose CVS pharmacy instead!! Thank you!! read more

This is your typical walgreens except for the las vegas element. They have lots of location based gifts to take back at good prices-and they are made of quality materials (unlike those places that sell tshirts 3 for $10). Like all chain drug stores in the area, they sell alcohol. They also sell anything that you might have left behind at home. The customer service was good and the transaction was smooth. read more

I wish I could give this business a negative number. Don't ever come to this store. We had to buy some toiletries and after decided to walk across the street to buy a couple of souvenirs. When we were coming back my truck was about to be towed just because we walked across the street. I explained to the towed truck driver that we had just bought some things at Walgreens but walked across the street to get souvenirs. He said he would charge us $160.00 to let the truck down instead of the $350 they charge to get it out. Total rip-off. I am definitely never coming back to this store. read more

This was the closest Walgreens to the Hilton Resort Hotel. It is a nice 10 minutes walk to the store from the hotel. The snacks and beverages were more affordable at Walgreens than in the hotel. The store offers a wide variety of goodies as well as other items needed for the trip. The staff are all friendly and the store is clean. read more

Im a Walgreens shopper. Its my preferred drug store retailer and this location was within walking distance from the Circus Circus hotel where I was staying. I went into the location three times over my visit. They had 1L bottles of water on sale 2 for $3 so it was by far the best deal in town for beating the 100+ degrees temperatures of Las Vegas. Do not buy booze here, there is a liquor store in the shopping plaza less than a block from here with slightly better pricing and better selection of wines. The staff was friendly to us tourists, and I had no issue with getting into the bathroom. They even asked me if I wanted to use my Balance Reward points each time I made a purchase, they barely do that home in Atlanta, and Im often having to ask if I have any points to use. Pretty good selection of travel items which was handy since I'd forgotten to pack my toothbrush, shower gel and deodorant. read more

I bought a camelback style backpack to use at a festival I was attending and when I went to use it, it did not work as it would leak water from the middle of the hose, causing me to not get enough pressure to retrieve water. I tried to return it the next day and they would not stating that they needed a receipt. I asked them to look it up under the card I payed for it or using my Walgreens number and they said that they could not. How outdated is your tech that you can't even look up purchases made yesterday? Be aware. I went inside to purchased some stuff for my wife at Walgreens. As I got out I noticed they were a taco place across the street. My sister and wife asked me to go with them really quick to grab some tacos. We crossed the street and the whole process lasted less than 20min. As I came back to my car my car was towed and gone. Please be aware there is currently someone who is not from Walgreens on watch who helps the towing company. They have someone towing the cars in the less than 15 min of being parked . This is illegal to tow a car when the parking towing sign states no parking longer than 30 minutes. The company "all in towing" is getting their own customers by having a towing truck on site 24/7. I was a customer of Walgreens and this is not acceptable and is unethical. My car was not in the property longer than 30min. They towed about 5 cars in the 30min I was there. Walgreens needs to stop this scam artist who are using walgreen parking as a business leads for their towing company. read more

Went in to pick up Baby Shower invites. Biggest Walgreens I've ever seen! Sharon took pity on my poor computer illiterate brain and helped step by step, while still doing her job as cashier. The store was busy, and I can see why. They have very cool gifts and souvenirs. Also all the usuals. Parking is TINY, but most people are walking so it wasn't a problem. Walgreens, the place to go for cheap booze, souvenirs, snacks, and Ghirardelli chocolate for a tourist! We stopped by this one as we were walking to our hotel from north on the strip. There's parking for locals but it seemed that most shoppers were tourists. There was booze, but not as much variety and smaller bottles than some of the other Walgreens. I did get a small bag of cashews for 99 cents, great price! The Ghirardelli chocolate is no longer cheap but still cheaper than if you buy it at the Ghirardelli store. If I forget to pack anything, I can usually find it at a Walgreens. And if you need that Las Vegas keychain for your boss, you can probably find it cheap here. There was confusion in the line up as some people were lined up on the side and not within the real line. The staff were ok, not so efficient to handle high volume of customers quickly as some of the other Walgreens. I was in the store on Sunday evening 12\3\23 and I was walking around looking for the cat food and I was approached by security and told I had to leave I asked what the problem was and she told me just give me our merchandise and leave now. I had a can of sun tanner in my hands and that was it, again I asked what the problem was and she called me white trash I was completley fabaagasthed. I don't know if she thought I was stealing, I have never stolen anything in my life but for her to call me white trash. If these are the type of people you hire your company should be ashamed. First this is Las Vegas and people of all kinds come through our town, yes I'm a local and just had stopped neededing cat food but the security guard that was working at around 3AM Sunday Night Monday morning decided to degrade me for no reason and if I have anything to do with it I will contact every media outlet and inform everyone of the behavior of one of your employees. Not only was it embrassing but it was as I said degrading. She happen to be African American and I'm assuming has something against white woman. BEWARE. Do not park in this lot and think you can also shop or eat in the stores surrounding it. My husband walked across the street to get takeout tacos, I went into Walgreens and shopped around for a while, we met up and our car had been towed. It cost us $240 to get it back. I plan to dispute the charge with my cc company because the tow was timed within 2 minutes of when I was at the Walgreens register checking out. So I was a patron of this store and have the receipt to prove it. Manager was of no help, he claimed it's not Walgreens who arranges the towing, it's their property so I'm sure that's bs. ***This Walgreens has enough variety to probably get you that personal, travel or grocery item you might have forgotten, but it, like many pharmacies in Las Vegas, is quite pricey. You definitely pay for the convenience of not having to venture to a Target or bigger store off The Strip*** Since this Walgreens is located a little bit away from the main action on The Strip, they do offer a free parking lot (lots of open parking spaces here). read more

AVOID ALL the Walgreens on the Strip!! They are nothing but TOURIST GOUGING BUSINESS'S & not your neighborhood store you may be accustomed to. For Example: I went into this store & brought my Arizona Iced Tea & pack of .99 cashews to the register & told the clerk "The Iced tea is on sale this week". She then asked if I had the coupon. I told her NO & asked her dont you have a Sales paper for this week?" She answered "NO." WTF?!! I then pulled out a reciept I just happened to have from a store I was at on Maryland blvd & showed it to her explaining that I DID NOT have a coupon then either and the store had a sales paper to accomodate me. She said she couldnt help me. I told her get the mgr. The mgr came and explained that I needed to have a coupon. I showed her my reciept and told her I've NEVER heard of a Walgreens that didnt have a sales paper to accomodate customers and went on to say QUITE LOUDLY that all they were doing was "gouging tourist" by not honoring their weekly sales paper or making it available. I left and will NEVER solicite any of these STRIP stores ever again & I will be venting with Walgreens mgmt via the 1800-763-0547 number. Avoid these STRIP stores at all cost!! read more

A must stop before staying at the surrounding hotels for necessities such as water, soda, snacks, sunscreen etc. In addition they have a whole section for souvenirs. They don't have the normal Walgreen sales but beats sundry store prices. I suggest planning a pit stop around this store for a cold drink or even an Icee in 6 flavors. They also had a whole section for photo developing. We stopped twice over 2 days and both times although they were busy it was still quick. read more

I parked at the walgreens lot for a moment to get a bottle of water and saw a taco shop across the street to buy some tacos after a short moment I got back, the walgreens hired someone to tow my car. It was the worst customer service experience I had. I had to pay $400 to get my car back plus the fucking drink that I bought from them for only $2. The manager was not helpful at all and said "it's none of my business that your car got towed". This place is HORRIBLE, I would go to CVS instead. read more
