Glazed donut triangle
Tracy L.

I came in here last month with some friends to pick up some donuts after we had dinner at Cafe Berlin German Restaurant across the street . I had been meaning to come check it out since it has been years since I was in a Maverick in upper Nevada . I remember getting gas there and my son looking at a picture of a breakfast sandwich made with donuts and of course it was later in the afternoon , so we were not happy we didn't get to try it . Anyway , I got an assortment of donuts to take home for my son and daughter-in-law and me to try . They were pretty good . The store was super clean and well organized . I will be back sometime to try some sandwiches and maybe pick up some more donuts .

I usually go to the location on the strip when I'm in Vegas, but this one is a lot bigger. Easy to order and great tacos! Adobada is my favorite; crispy pork on the edges and flavorful guac and sauces on the taco itself. Lengua is also really soft but not as flavorful as the adobada.

Finding a spot can be frustrating. What I do find interesting is the variety of meats. You can get the usual steak and pork, but they also have things like lengua, tripa, cabeza, and even brain. If you're adventurous with your meat choices, there's definitely a lot to explore. The ordering system is also interesting. Different meats have different lines, so if you want several types, you basically have to move from one line to another. That's kind of fun in theory, but when the place is packed, it becomes a lot of waiting. One thing I wasn't a fan of was the tip box being right in front of you while ordering. I noticed some people tipping before they even got their food, and it gave me the impression that maybe people are hoping for bigger portions or extra stuff. The atmosphere can be crowded and chaotic, if you are first timer. The food and the whole concept are definitely interesting, but with the parking, crowds, multiple lines, and long wait, the service experience was below average for me. Worth trying once if you want to experience the different meats. It's just my opinion, I will suggest separate the guacamole from the tacos, some people put everything but I feel soggy and messy. My suggestion just cilantro and onions and everything on side but again they didn't give me the guacamole on side. From my experience from parking, the long waiting , service, price and the food taste....its not like wow so it's just more like new experience.

This location doesn't have a dining room, it's a walk-up window or drive-thru only. There's plenty of picnic tables outside on the patio that are mostly covered. Ordering was fast and friendly, like it normally is. The wait for the food was rather long though, but the food came up piping hot and tasty. The fries this visit were actually the best I've ever had too, not wimpy and soft, rather stiff and with a little crisp to them. The burger was Animal Style and so very flavorful! Definitely would return!!

They have a double line and double windows, which helps keep things moving even when it's really busy. The staff were also very friendly and pleasant, which made the experience even better. My only disappointment was finding out AFTER I ordered about the secret menu! Apparently, you can get your burger "Protein Style" (wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun) and order "Animal Style" fries. Why don't they put these options on the actual menu?! I would have definitely ordered the lettuce wrap and tried the Animal Style fries if I had known. Overall, great food, friendly staff, and an impressive drive-thru setup. I'll definitely be back--I just wish they made some of those popular menu options a little less "secret"!

FUN KID'S COMBO!!…read more What's not to LOVE about Raising Cains?! It's highly addictive and even when you only want that sample of it on your taste buds it's just what always is soooo good and satisfying!! So-- the smallest meal you can get here is The Kid's Combo. It comes with two regular chicken strips and a handful of flavorful fries. ALSO--since this is geared towards kiddos it comes with a seasonal play package of which this one came with a cute sticker sheet and a background sheet. The bag is very cute, colorful and decorated with fun puzzles and games for just about all ages. I went through the drive-thru and the service was spectacular as ever. Nothing bad here, everything great as always just like it is at any of their locations. This location is on S. Las Vegas Blvd. in front of the outlets.

Cane's Las Vegas, do better.

I went with her recommendation to get the classic chopped salad and I loved it. The dressing is nice and tangy plus the chicken was nicely seasoned and not rubbery, something hard to find. This spot is near my office and I was happy to know they also offer catering. There is plenty of seating inside and the place is kept clean. Keep in mind is town square so it's a busy area for parking spots. Worth it though!

One of the things that made us go was the promise of clam chowder. Now I have been a huge clam chowder fan ever since I was a young child, so clam chowder and a salad sounded absolutely amazing. We took the ride over to Town center where we found the place pretty easily. Park the car and went inside. The place was nicely appointed, although when we walked in no one of was at the front counter for a moment. And then someone showed up and we gave him our order which was two salads, two clam chowders and a couple of drinks. We sat and waited, and eventually our order came up. The clam chowder came in a small cardboard cup, with some oyster crackers. I wanted to have the clam chowder before I dug into the salad, so I opened it up. Was it looked like the milk had separated, and it looked very watery. I tasted it and it had a really odd taste to it. I showed it to my girlfriend who tasted and said don't eat any more of this. This is spoiled. Ewww ..... not good. I took it back out to the front, at first. They wanted to exchange it for the tomato soup, but since I do not like tomato soup I said Well, why don't we just take it off our bill. Since I had paid with the InKind app, she had to reach out to the manager to see about doing that. They were unable to refund the money but they said they were going to "Make it right" and that the manager would call me the next day. Well, the next day came and went, so I decided to wait an extra day before writing my review. Since this happened on a Saturday, and the manager was supposed to call me on a Sunday. I definitely had some Grace as I am sure the last time you wanted to do on a Sunday was deal with customer problem. So Monday came and went and still no message. I don't know about you, but if there was a customer problem with spoiled food I would have reached out ASAP to make sure I got it right. Sadly that did not happen. As someone who has been in the food service industry, I know how critical it is to take care of something that went wrong, ESPECIALLY if it involves spoiled food! In this case I felt discounted, uncared for, and that my business (and well being) really didn't matter at all. I did have a pleasant experience with the salad though, which is why I gave it three stars. The people behind the counter were gracious, but the lack of follow through on the part of management is something that really sticks in my craw. Bottom line? I doubt that I'll be going back to Chop Stop again based on this experience. This is sad, because this place has a lot of potential.

Flecha - Great Vibes, Great Service, Just Turn Up the Heat!…read more First off, the ambience at Flecha is absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere, awesome vibe, and the staff was on point from start to finish. Seriously, 10/10 on both fronts. We went with the $20 appetizer special and loaded up on taquitos, a birria quesadilla, and three street tacos. My girlfriend ordered a spicy margarita and was a happy camper. Currently not drinking but she says the tequila is tasty. The house chips and salsa were delicious, too. Now, the food itself was good. The problem? The temperature. Everything came out lukewarm at best. I hadn't eaten all damn day, so I was famished and ready to destroy some tacos. I wasn't about to send anything back, but those appetizers would've been so much better served hot. My breakdown: * Ambience: 10/10 - Absolutely nailed it. * Staff: 10/10 - Friendly, attentive, fantastic. * Food: 6/10 - Good flavors, but the temperature really hurt the experience. Would I go back? Absolutely. The place has too much going for it not to give it another shot. Just hoping next time the food comes out as hot as the atmosphere. And Mark Wahlberg, if you're reading this, please don't beat my ass. I still love you, man
