I came here to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the pharmacy at this location. The service has been consistently unacceptable. I have waited nearly 25 minutes just to be helped, only to be told they cannot find my medication after I was specifically notified that it was ready. There have been multiple occasions where I was told my prescription was ready, only to arrive and find out it wasn't actually available. This has caused unnecessary stress, wasted time, and a major inconvenience in my life. Unfortunately, I rely on this pharmacy because it is the closest option available to me and I currently don't have reliable transportation to go elsewhere. No one should have to deal with this level of service when it comes to something as important as their medication. Management seriously needs to address the lack of communication, organization, and customer care happening here. If this is the standard of service, then major improvements need to be made immediately. read more

I went to Walgreens to get a flu and Covid shot. I was greeted immediately and was serviced within five minutes.. Rex was unbelievable. This was the first time in my life where I barely felt the injection, especially for the flu vaccine.. if you're reading this Rex, I need your cell phone number so that I can call you when I need my next vaccine in the event you leave this place. Awful. I had a Rx refill request sitting for a number of days. I therefore called to follow up. Initially I got a centralised 'technician' who couldn't tell me anything. After a long wait I finally got through to the actual pharmacy. They told me my physician had cancelled the Rx. So I called my physician and they'd done nothing of the sort - that was just not true. Nobody wants to take the initiative, ownership or responsibility. They just fob you off and get rid of you. I guess the days when pharmacists actually talked to physicians offices has gone. It was similar a few weeks ago. The new system for registering in store for a vaccination is catastrophic. They force you to do everything on your phone, but most of the web based system is either unreadable, unreliable, or glitchy. In that case the tech was helpful, but the systems are broken. Everything seems to be designed to minimize (technician) pharmacy effort and time, by pushing all of the work onto the customer. And has anyone looked at how impractical it is for anyone over 50 to read multi-page documents in 2pt print on a phone. read more

I recently visited because of the fed ex drop-off (for work), but when I couldn't find tracking information for over three days after I visited, I decided that I wouldn't be going here again for that reason (it's just better to go to an actual Fed Ex store). I was in line for about five minutes before getting any help. Still has a Photo department. The drive-thru for the pharmacy is always so crowded, about five cars deep, at least. There were many customers inside the night I visited. Checkout is at the front of the store. The ATM machine is also located at the front, very close to the entrance/exit door. Not sure if that is safe. Located on the corner of Flamingo and Buffalo, I can see why going to this store is convenient. Has drinks, food, seasonal candy, greeting cards, beauty and health department, as well as paper products. On my trip to Vegas, I broke a nail in a weird middle portion of the nail that needed a quick fix before my nail split in half into the nail bed. They had all the supplies I needed. Writing this review while waiting. I used to love getting my prescriptions here but the service declined tremendously. They used to be very helpful but now they just see you as a number. I was being helped by Shelly and she did not verify the number of prescriptions I was picking up. I know better to check and was missing the most important prescription. I know this location is busy but in my opinion if they get it the first time then customers does not have to wait. I came today to pick up as I got a text that prescriptions are ready. Came back to the counter and waited for Shelly to finish with the customer. Then when I walked up she walked away and pretended to not see me. I heard her say something not nice and totally ignored me. If she was going on break, she should have said something instead of turning her back. Evelyn came and helped me. That's the reason why I don't go to Walgreens anymore. I'd rather have it delivered. Next time I need to pick up a prescription it will be on another pharmacy, there's a lot nearby. read more

This location offers drive through as well as in-store service and like many drug stores---your service mileage all depends on traffic and demands placed on staff at any particular time. The pharmacy techs here are beyond incompetent. Thank goodness for great pharmacists who double check things. 1-I called in the insurance information only to have the tech enter it all wrong. The pharmacist had to enter it in after. I would have just paid had he not asked if I had insurance because I thought it was already entered from earlier. I had 3 prescriptions I was picking up for my father, so I didn't question the $35 amount. After insurance, it was only $7. 2-I received a text that the meds were ready and went an hour later only to be told that one still wasn't ready and would be another 30 minutes. 3-The tech told me I had 4 medications. This is after I gave her the name, DOB, and address verification. Turns out she pulled up my dad plus another person with the same name. I found out from the pharmacist why she told me there were 4 meds instead of the 3. That's really scary that she would have given me meds for someone else. Turns out that the address they had on file was 5 years old, yet she didn't question me when the address I gave her didn't match. The pharmacist is the one who re-verified with me. 4- The drive thru line was 6 cars deep. The inside line was just as long. I rarely come to this location but it's really close to my house and my family will use it for the last minute sick meds rather than our monthly maintenance meds we get elsewhere. In summary, try to go to any other pharmacy. Between the long lines and the tech trying to potentially kill you by giving you someone else's meds, I would recommend going somewhere that doesn't have overworked pharmacists that potentially could also make a mistake because they have to pick up the slack for the incompetent techs. read more

Worst Pharmacy ever. Last week went to pick up a prescription. Went up to counter after waiting in line. Mind you, there is a giant piece of plexiglass between you and the people behind the counter. Blue haired girl behind counter told me to step back four feet! What? This wasn't even during "Covid" "pandemic". Umm....I still have to come to counter to pay and pick up prescription. She was just plain rude. Today tried to pick up prescription. Came at 1:40 pm -closed, on lunch. Why don't they stagger lunch times for workers when there are several behind counter? Okay, came back a few hours later. 3 people in line. They kept going to people in drive thru even the ones that kept pulling up after the people who had been waiting in line for 10-15 minutes. Either have one dedicated person at window, or wait on people inside the store waiting before people to lazy to come in store. People waiting several minutes in line should be your priority. I will be taking my business to CVS. So over their bs. Also, a man pandering for money and loitering outside store standing right in front of sign that states "No pandering or loitering, violators will be prosecuted". Went to fill a prescription there today for ONE Xanax pill for a procedure I have tomorrow and the pharmacy tech refused to even take my prescription stating they will only fill for regular customers with a full prescription. I was prescribed .25mg which is hardly anything and needed it for anxiety. I am a regular customer of Walgreens and always fill my prescription there. If I could give zero reviews for this location I would. It is the WORST pharmacy location I have ever been too. I used to go to the Walgreens on Ann and centennial for years then I moved to this side of town and have had nothing but issues. I do have a lot of medication bc of my health issues but every single time a doctor sends something over or I try to refill someThing there is an issue in every way possible. It's like the people they hired have no experience in this field and how to do their job. And the customer service is absolutely horrible having to deal with any of these issues. I'm thinking of just driving further to a different location and having everything transferred because this location is such a hassle to deal with And every time something arises that I have to have them correct. Kudos to Walgreens for having much friendly cashiers. Even the pharmacy is friendlier, although the clerks often try to impersonate DMV employees. I was here today, Tue at 5pm and I wish I had gotten that woman's name at the regular checker. She should be commended for being so friendly, all the time. In fact, its because of her and another clerk on the later shift that I now stop in here instead of Smith's when I am in a hurry for a few basic things. GO TO A LOCATION WHERE THEY ARE NOT RACIST! My dad and I went to this Walgreens pharmacy the other day and the manager MARISSA or MELISSA whatever her name is was being so racist! I come from Hispanic decent and my dad and I agreed she treated us differently than how she treated her Caucasian patients. We were standing in line and a Caucasian lady cut in front of us so I kindly let her know we were in front of her and she got upset and went to stand behind us when it was our turn to go up to the counter the pharmacy tech had to get her manager for approval on the meds so when the manager MARISSA came over she kindly greeted the lady that was behind us by her name then she looked over at me and my dad and her attitude completely changed It seemed like she didn't even want to help us You could tell by the tone of her voice because she didn't sound like a b**** when she was greeting her other patient that was behind us and was getting loud with me. I hope management above her does something about this because It's disgusting to be judged by the color of our skin. And I hope she gets fired cause she has horrible customer service. read more

This is my first time at this location and I am impressed. We left CVS due to very poor customer service. We were picking up my prescriptions and one of them I had to pay $130+. Lakisha suggested that I go online and get a coupon. I did and I did not have to pay for anything. Beth the other lady at the counter was very helpful as well. I was back and forth with my concerns and she was very patient with both my husband and myself. They did get busy as it was after work but be patient and they will assist you. read more

Today, I decided to go inside to drop off my prescription. I was the only one in line, but kept waiting even if they had 3 people working behind the counter. I was not once acknowledged. By the time the girl was ready to help me...she was abrupt with me and told me I was in the wrong line and there was a separate drop off window. She spoke down to me as if I should've known even if the counter I was at has a big sign that says drop off and pick up prescriptions! So I go to the designated window and that girl walks away from me. I was so upset that I walked off in a huff. I can say that I will never go back there again! This location is 24 hours you can't really go wrong. Convenient and great for late night errands. I have to say I have seen some interesting and sketchy characters in the parking lot, but that's usually during earlier business hours during the day. Staff here is really nice. Doesn't matter what time you walk in all staff is greeting you.
