I live two BLOCKS from this location and I come there EVERYDAY sometimes TWICE a day and you would think from buying the same thing EVERY SINGLE DAY! You would think the items I buy EVERY DAY might be on hand but it's a crap shoot because they change managers every week and the order is RIDICULOUSLY SHORT! Now I could just as easily give my Business to 7/11 which is a rocks throw in either direction from my from my house, I stopped going to the pharmacy in Walgreens because the staff with the exception of the graveyard pharmacist was RUDE and had no compassion or respect for customers, but I come there because I like 75% of employees who work in the Store, I like Lance, Lori, Jacky all very personable and courteous but what's the point in going to a store if the manager doesn't BOTHER to order from vendors a weeks supply of 20 or 16 ounce Red Bulls. The staff seems apologetic blaming the Vendors and I complain Multiple times they don't stock enough but NOTHING gets done about it and it seems to me the 23 to 40 dollars A DAY I spend this particular establishment isn't appropriated. I go out of my way to write good reviews on places I frequent but this just posses me off to no end I have to BEG A STORE to carry the things I buy. Now as a business owner myself If I offered a service to my clients then told them I could perform that very service I offered for WHATEVER reason , how long do you think I would stay in business. I have been a customer at this Walgreens for over 10 years. Not sure what has changed! No customer service, employees want to argue or school customers, and I am pretty sure there is not a slower drive thru pharmacy in the Las Vegas valley. Walking in to pharmacy is absolutely worse. I have been using this Walgreens pharmacy for the last 3 years to fill my cat's prescription for insulin. every time I go to pick up, there is some small inconvenience. they either have a new birthday on our profile, incorrectly text me that my prescription was ready for pick up when it was not, my phone number has somehow been changed in their system, my address no longer pops up, they've changed what species my cat is, or somehow even after getting text updates on my prescription status for years, they will suddenly stop. Today's interaction led to them partially filling the prescription request that my vet sent in, and saying that the prescription was fully completed. The pharmacy staff exerts zero effort in problem solving or attempting to help. I actually had one of them say "they must've put more insulin in the pen this time" in regards to my pre-filled insulin pen. They will just say whatever they need to in order to get you away from them. Due to a combination of horrendous customer service and inherent incompetence and lack of care, this was my last time going to this location. Do yourself a favor and avoid this pharmacy. read more

On 8/4 I came into pick up prescriptions and after over 30 mins I'm told sorry we misplaced one of your prescriptions and can't get any until 8/5 late afternoon..I told them they could ship it, this after the pharmacist told me to go to another location to get it.Of course they didn't ship it. So 8/11 a week later I had to initiate my next month of the same medication.. I come in to pick up only to be told can't have until late 8/12.. I was then asked to have a seat, 35 mins later and I tell them I'm leaving- only to watch someone go to the bin and pull it out.. 35 mins earlier, they had none in the store, I'm pissed cause I'm out of meds, they had already lost, and then I'm in your store for an hour total today.. I will never have meds filled here again.. You don't care about your customers and it's apparent, I watched 7 customers with issues from you not giving them enough or not even filled things that were called in day before.. The pharmacists at this location are probably the most incompetent I have ever seen! I had to talk to multiple people to finally put my prescription thru and even then they held it for so long that I guess it "dropped out" of my profile now I need another one. After being on hold for multiple times between 15 minutes and up to 1 hr there was no resolution and since I was on hold for so long my doctors office closed for the day! If I could give a 0 I would. This location, and most Walgreens in general are now understaffed, overworked, and underpaid. Due to this, the abuse their employees suffer is insane. Standing in line watching person after person berate a pharmacy technician out of pure frustration is the saddest thing I've seen in years, and Walgreens management is 100% to blame for the current state of affairs. You can t blame Covid, you can't blame increased market pressures, and you can't blame your employees. This is quite literally your job as managers to properly staff train and pay your people to deal with the market you are in. Instead of taking this seriously and doing something about to, management has chosen not to, so I as a customer have chosen to take my business to Costco pharmacy (who FYI you do not need a membership to use). Disclosure: I am a pharmacist and have been for almost 40 years so I AM biased against Corporate Retail Pharmacy (CVS, WALMART, RIte-Aid etc) This store has had a long record of quality concerns and has appeared before the NV Board of Pharmacy and was disciplined and fined. On March 8, 2023, I was picking up 3 new prescriptions for a family member. Two were antibiotics that the patient never had and the other was a controlled pain medication. This cashier did not have the pharmacist come over and do a verbal patient/caregiver counseling on the prescriptions AS REQUIRED BY LAW. NAC 639.707 has required this for at least the last 20 years. Walgreens historically has not lived up to their "AMERICA's PHARMACY" claim and intentionally avoided complying with pharmacy laws and willfully disrespected and abused their staff. They understaff their pharmacy and allow unsafe working conditions. I asked John, the Store Manager, to make the Pharmacy Manager Dayna Powers aware this Walgreen's is in violation of the law. read more

The Walgreens on Cheyenne /Rampart is the worse in the city and they need to shut down. They never have medication, they are all confused and they do not what they are doing. I have been trying to get my prescription for Accutane for a week now. It's a super time sensitive drug and it has caused me the most stress that I haven't been able to do so I called and even went in person to receive my prescription my Dr ordered on Monday. Every day they have told me they have it ordered and it will be delivered the next day at 12pm. EVERY day I have called and even went in person to check. Now Friday the end of the week, the day these lazy inconsiderate assholes decide to put everything off and say fuck everyone... THEY TELL ME MY PRESCRIPTION HASN'T BEEN ORDERED... they say they are going to troubleshoot it and it will be in by Monday. But who knows if they are lying through their teeth again. They are lucky it's my goddamn Acne I'm worried about and I don't have cancer cause they would be the reason I die. If I could just have them transfer it to another location it would be great but it's also a very safety sensitive drug, so it takes a lot more to transfer. Its amazing how long Walgreens have been around, since 1901. This busy and convenient location is near many large communities including Desert Shores and Sun City Summerlin, so expect it to be busy especially during the hours of 3:00-8:00pm. However, I do appreciate how clean and organized this particular location is. The staff is very friendly and do their best to accommodate your needs. My family and I have been regular customers at this location for years and we haven't had any issues with products or customer service. However, I do wish they had more staff during peak times. You can sense their is alot of frustrations when they are busy. Especially the large amount of older customers from the nearby Sun City Community that need more assistance. When he came to relief the cashier I asked him to ensure that the clearance and coupon rang up on a product. When it didn't so I asked him to remove it from my purchases, he proceeded to call me a "karen" and verbally harassed me in front of other customers and staff. I never called him a name or degraded him in any way. I simply asked for the product to be removed from my bill. The Pharmacy is horrible!! They lie and commit what could be insurance fraud. Dropped off an out of state prescription two weeks before needing. This is something we have done for 7 months now. I am told it will be taken care of and not to worry. Three days before running out I call to see if it it ready. I was told they have attempted to reach the doctor but no response. I reached out and my Doctor tells me he talked to them last week. Oh and I got the Walgreens App message that the prescription was delayed only after I called. Today I picked up medication for my husband and the wrong dosage was filled. The doctor changed the dose on Thursday and also called in a new prescription. The new one was right but not the other. How do you get one prescription but not the other. Oh, but the Pharmacist told me they had faxed an authorization for the correct meds to the doctor. What... how would you know to fill that if you never got it??? So the filled a strong medicine and charged my insurance company. Now they will need to charge my insurance company again for the right strength. I have asked for both a Store Manager and District Manager to call me but was told I had to call 1-800-Walgreens. I would like to commend Elena in the photo department. I stopped in today to get a passport photo and she did everything perfectly. Her friendly demeanor kept me at ease, as I was freaking out to get my passport renewed today. She did everything from take my picture, upload it into their system and even checked me out at her register, so I didn't have to wait in line up front. I would have been a mess without her help because there was an issue with the output machine which she skillfully fixed. The advertised time for a passport photo is one hour, but due to her efficiency I was in and out within 10 minutes. She is a true asset to the company! read more
