They get you your prescriptions. But they never answer the phone. Currently on the phone trying to call about my prescription and it's been 40 min and counting. I got to top caller on the list and now they let it ring and keep picking up and putting it right back on hold without ever speaking a word to me or acknowledging me at all. To say I'm frustrated is an understatement. 10-15 min is one thing I can handle that but pushing an hour is ridiculous. I only go here when I have to. That's it. Believe all the things you read about the pharmacy. The app is useless, you can request refills but they won't contact your provider. You have to get your doctor send a new prescription each time and then go in person to request them to fill. They will not have it in stock and will not request it with your first visit you will have to go in person again to have them request it and then wait 1-2 weeks for the medication to come in. Don't bother calling because it's a call center and they cannot do anything at the individual pharmacies. read more

I want to make sure someone fully trains her to be a bit more compassionate or sends her on her way as she knows nothing about dealing in customer service. I called them to see about my prescriptions and they told me they would be ready at 1pm in ten minutes. I arrive 1:06 and they tell me they need another 15 minutes. i wish i could give no stars. the people working in the pharmacy are so unwilling to help or work. be prepared to wait 30+ minutes for a prefilled prescription and constantly being told you are doing something wrong when the issue is always on their part. our doctors are so tired of them messing up our prescriptions. we have gone back twice because they prepared our newbown baby's prescription wrong. they are constantly updating the system wrong so when you go, they don't even have your script filled even though texts say it is. they never have medications readily available and have to order them. prepare to wait days for common antibiotics. it has been 2 years of hell for us trying to get anything from this pharmacy. i also almost got robbed here last weekend by 3 men crowding me in the baby section while i was trying to get diapers. just go literally anywhere else. read more

It's disheartening to believe this Walgreens is considered a neighborhood store. I can't express how much I loathe the pharmacy department at this facility. The pharmacist and techs are incompetent, unprofessional and lack necessary training to operate in retail pharmacy. No matter the year, the day, or the hour this Walgreens has proven to consistently FAIL to have my medications in stock. My medications are on automatic refill and each time I'm due for pick up, there's a delay. The medication is not in stock, or it has to be ordered with an undetermined date of when it will be in. As a result, I have gone days without my medication. In my attempt to be proactive and submit a refill request weeks in advance, it's the same outcome. Im convinced that Patient care is obsolete with this pharmacy. As daunting as the task may be, I will be taking the time to have all my prescriptions transferred to a pharmacy that operates more efficiently. The Walgreens Pharmacy @ 9700 Argyle Forest Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32222 is the worst. The store itself isn't bad however, the Pharmacy is a text book example of poor customer service. I reached out to the pharmacy for help obtaining a medication they were out of, instead of looking for the medication at another Walgreens pharmacy they told me to go to CVS pharmacy. I was able to locate the medication at another Walgreens pharmacy after calling 3 different Walgreens Pharmacy. Walgreens has access to the inventory of medications at other locations. However, it's much easier for the pharmacy technician to tell the customer to go to another pharmacy; that is the type of service you will get from the pharmacy @ 9700 Argyle Forest Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32222 The 2.3 star rating they have should be a indication to Walgreens that they have a huge issue with customer service... read more

Slowest pharmacy. 4/5 times I've gone to pick up I've waited for well over 10 minutes for a prescription that was told was ready to pick up.

I placed a pickup order for menstrual pads. I had a hungry toddler waiting to go home and eat his dinner so I decided to place it for pickup so I could get him dinner then assumed my ONE item would be ready like they said it will in "30 minutes or less." about 30-40 minutes later I get a text that the item is delayed. I would've just went in but my toddler wanted his food and was not happy, so I pulled up to the store and called. I've had this happen before and my item was inside waiting just nobody told me it was ready so I was like "it'll probably be done." Finally after getting the robot to hear me over my son this nice girl answers. I tell her the situation because now it's been over an hour. She's like "oh let me let them know, no problem." So I say thank you and wait for a few minutes until another lady comes out. This chick is super rude to me. I literally just needed pads. I'm Not rude to her, I just explain what is going on. She gives me some random reply like "there's so much going on inside," mind you the parking lot is almost empty lol, "let me check and see where it's at." she then goes inside and cancels my order. I've never dealt with such a rude walgreens employee IN MY LIFE. Literally Walgreens is normally such a welcoming store. Get new employees. read more

From reading the reviews it looks like Walgreens is checked out to Jimmy Crack Corn. The Pharmacy is awful. This is the second time I am told the prescription is ready and after sitting in a long line 5 hours beyond the time it was ready. it's not. I have had to do without meds for a period of time because they can't seem to get them filled. I am through my doctors are going to have to send my prescriptions somewhere else. read more

This store has a history of horrendous customer service in the pharmacy, but today was the absolute worst. I waited for over an hour in the drive-through for my prescriptions. I was not greeted by the clerk. I had to repeat my information to her multiple times because she was too busy checking her personal cell phone and texting. She didn't give me a total or thank me for my purchase or even say goodbye. I called the store to see if I could speak to someone who can offer them assistance and voice my concerns. The man who answered the phone said "the pharmacy manager is not available he's giving shots can you call back in an hour" instead of hello. What I'm the world. We changed to this store from the one on 103rd street. It was clean, not overly busy, and near our Dr.'s office. I'm caretaker for my disabled brother. It has steadily gone downhill. Not enough employees in the pharmacy, and some that can't even be bothered to look up a prescription in the computer that is there EVERY SINGLE MONTH. I frequently get it late, which throws my appointments off, and sometimes makes me have to go without my meds, and often have to make a second trip down there. My brother and I take a lot of business there. The ONLY pharmacy employee who is all around GREAT, when we can get her, is Lisa. The others have been rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. I've given this place chance after chance to get this right, and it apparently isn't going to happen and I've had enough. I can't stand in line with my damaged spine and cane with no relief for 30 minutes or more. On days I can stand I shouldn't have to bring my walker just to get our meds. I don't use the drive through because I can't hear over the speakers, and spend 15 minutes asking for them to repeat themselves. So we'll be changing pharmacies, because this is ridiculous. A private joke between my brother and I is every single time we go in there, we hear "Customer service needed at the photo counter" "PHOTO COUNTER!!" "PHOTO COUNTER!!!" I don't think we'll miss that too much, but does make for kind of a funny memory for us. At the same time, when we hear that for 15 minutes or so, says a lot about the length of a line, when you've still got 4 people in front of you (there's another 20 mins, and frequently there's only one tech there working the register). read more

This is by far the worst Walgreens I've ever been to. I moved here a year and a half ago so I've had more than 18 months worth of interactions with it so I can with confidence that it is horrible. I'm currently standing waiting for my daughter to get a Covid shot well past her appointment time with no other people waiting. I go up to the counter to find my daughters paperwork just sitting on the counter that they didn't even process. I gave it to them a half hour ago. This is just the final straw and I've just spent my time waiting transferring my prescriptions to the CVS in target across the street. I advise you to do the same. read more

Drove all the way here from Green Cove Springs for the third COVID jab just to be turned away by pharmacy. They told us they were short staffed and that we had to make an appointment. I spoke to manager, Dexter, and he refused us service for the same reason although the website and the overhead in store announcements proclaim " walk in only for third shot and walk ins welcome." Very disappointed in this Walgreens and will never return. read more

The toy selection used to be legit, now it's pretty stagnant. The clerks are very nice, can't say enough about them. They have a high turnover rate of employees though. The photo center is a joke and their prices are ridiculous. I would never recommend getting photos done there, to anyone, ever. They're not 24 hours, which is a bummer as they're the only store around since the other two Walgreens in the area closed within the last year. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. One of the pharmacy staff people, named Jordan, is the rudest, nastiest person on the planet. I took my daughter in to get a flu shot. I scheduled a flu shot "appointment" for her at 10:00 am first slot of the day on Sunday. I was the second person in line. I had to wait over 40 minutes! She didn't get her flu shot until 10:43 am and I had to pick up my mother from the nearby Publix and was in a hurry. When I told Jordan I had waited 43 minutes and had scheduled an appointment, he didn't even apologize. He rolled his eyes and said there are other customers they needed to attend to. WTF is he talking about?? I was the SECOND person in line, and they just took their time being slow. How hard is it to just say, "I'm sorry you had to wait." He finally got the flu shot vaccine out at 10:43 am and called my daughter to the enclosed area where she would get her flu shot. Apparently I'm not allowed to ask questions about the flu shot, because Jordan had a massive attitude when I asked why my daughter was getting Fluarix instead of the Flucelvax vaccine I got at the same pharmacy last week? Can a mother ask these simple questions without getting a jackass attitude from the vaccinator? Apparently not! Jordan's response -- "Lady, the flu vaccines are all the same." Umm, no, they're not. After he ARGUED with me for a good few minutes he finally went to to get the Flucelvax instead of the Fluarix. And the third attitude issue I had with Jordan at the pharmacy was about the receipt. He forgot to give me a receipt for the flu shot. When I said I didn't get a receipt, Jackass Jordan, said, "because you didn't ask for one." I responded, "I shouldn't have to ask for one. It should be given to me automatically." He then proceeded to disappear pretending to look for my receipt for a good few minutes and made me wait again, until another woman at the pharmacy asked me "Can I help you". I told her I was waiting for a receipt and she simply picked my receipt from a counter nearby and gave it to me. So Jordan the jackass disappeared to nowhere intentionally with no intentions of giving me my receipt. And I absolutely intend on speaking with his manager and also writing Walgreens corporate. Because no one needs to deal with jackasses like Jordan, EVER. read more

I am reading the comments about this pharmacy, and I agree. They are the worst. There is NO customer service. You are told a pickup time, and when you get there 2 hours after said time, your prescription is still not ready. When you question why, you get attitude like it is your fault for bothering them. Whatever you do never fill your prescriptions here. Not one time has it ever gone smooth. And god forbid you have to actually call and talk to someone in the pharmacy. I think their whole goal is to get you to hang up before you get through. Multiple times you will hold for more than 10 minutes then it will ring and ring and ring then hangs up on you. If you do get through they act so annoyed they have to take your call. Going inside to pick up is just as bad. I have been there when there are multiple people in line and one employee is doing everything to look busy, then two more people get in line and then she decides it's busy enough to stop dusting and help. I walked into this Walgreen's and assumed because there were only five people in the entire store (none at the Pharmacy), it wouldn't take me long to receive my prescription. I was wrong! The pharmacist told me it would be an hour and a half to receive my prescription, because they were "very busy" (again I must stress NO ONE was at the pharmacy). I left the store and changed my prescription over to another Walgreen's two miles away and recieved the same prescription in less than 15 minutes and the store was ACTUALLY busy. I rated this according to the pharmacy! Like others said no less than 15 minute wait at drive-thru and that is after they call to say it's ready. Took forever to get my insurance right telling me my birthday wasn't correct but when I called insurance the b/d was correct! The clerks typically (there is one young lady that is sweet) are in no hurry to even come to the window and you can see them walking around or talking. They ask your address and birthdate so people behind you can hear your answer. I don't think that is safe procedure, they could just have you give them your ID and ask if everything is correct. The staff is friendly but don't really make an effort to help people quickly. Also, my daughter came one night to return some make up she didn't like once she tried it. This has to be the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Ordered a prescription 3 times for 120 vitamins and when I went to pick it up the third time there was only 10. Returned to the pharmacy and saw a pharmacy staff member come out and go to the vitamin section to get another bottle to fill my order. I then found out I can buy them off the shelf for 1/4 of the price they were going to charge me. I asked the employee why I wasn't told I could have purchased them off the shelf and was told she didn't help me the 3 previous times I was there and that maybe I should go to another Walgreens that isn't as busy as we are and maybe they will make less mistakes. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever come in contact with. I moved here from Alabama and requested that my prescriptions be transferred to this pharmacy. My thyroid medication (that I HAVE to have) ran out and I needed it refilled ASAP. The first day I called the person I talked to said he had it in the works and he'd call me when it was ready. Never got a call. The next day I talked to someone and there was never even an order put in to get it. So that person put a rush on it. Never heard back. Then the next day I called and told them I absolutely need to get it refilled or I'll have to use another pharmacy. They called me and told me I have no refills left and have to get my doctor to prescribe another one. So why did it take them 3 days to figure that out? I called CVS across the street right after and they figured it out immediately. There are some serious communication problems with this pharmacy and something needs to change.
