This place has gotten so bad that they have a "people" making up their own rules. You have no idea whether or not you can get your prescription filled, simply based on who's working there.
They even tried to short me two pills, and thank goodness i checked before I left the store. See, they were OK with putting me in a bad situation where my real doctor could've called me in for a pill count and I would've been 2 short because they didn't feel like doing the job correctly. This must be reported because as soon as I mentioned it, the pharmacist knew exactly what she was try to do to me. That has to be illegal, so I'll find out. They had the meds on the shelf because they filled it immediately after I caught her.
I personally know a worker there, and the couple of positive of reviews are from the employees, not customers.
I stood at the counter two days ago where they wrote down exactly when I can get my prescriptions. The pharmacist and tech both said today, so I made plans at a hotel before my surgery. Then, I do as they said and a different pharmacist is there and decided AGAIN, that she wasn't going to allow it. If the script from the MD or DO says one thing, then just do your job. If you want to be a doctor, go to medical school, not chemistry school. Pretty easy concept.
There's one worker, named Leila (I believe) that always goes the extra mile to help customers, and I hate this could effect her. There's another girl there with long black hair and glasses (kind of younger) that has always been very helpful.
Obviously it's time for me to switch pharmacies and influence the 5 or 6 people I know to choose a different pharmacy. Walgreens pharmacy's reputation is mud around here anyway. Not a single time goes by that there's not an issue.
It's my fault for allowing them to mistreat me I guess, so I can fix it.
The main problem is, one of the pharmacists thinks she's on some kind of crusade against the world. If people were breaking the law or doing something illegal, I could understand, but as long as the real doctor writes the script correctly, and you're told by the other pharmacist and the techs there, that you can pick them up on a certain day, why does this lady even get involved. I will be reporting these "personal rules" to my doctor as well as changing pharmacies.
I've had nothing but massive headaches with this place. They never do what they say they're going to do as far as contacting the doctors about questions.
YES, one of my many prescriptions is for pain, but the remaining 7 or 8 are for other reasons. I'm on the board of a committee and I've personally corresponded with both the Governor and Lt Governor of the state, not to mention man
I will find a way to get this word out. I'm 53 years old. Not a child. I'm finished having games played with me by someone that takes things into their own hands. They've caused me to be in extra pain and to put up with these very irritating headaches for the last time.
Now, because I've been given two different stories, and made plans at a hotel for my upcoming surgery, I've got to go through that stress again.
Thanks again Walgreens. You probably wonder why things are like they are there. I hope this helps you understand. read more
