Trust me, this place only cares about the money, not the customers. I've been waiting three days for my blood pressure meds that were supposed to be on auto-refill, and they don't seem to care. Sure, they say it's on back order, but the guy at the register is so rude. As soon as you walk up, it's just "Name?"--really? Can't even say hi first or ask how they can help you. Pharmacy- This location sucks ! Can't understand this one, that one has a " my shit don't stink attitude", and the newer one doesn't know what to do when you tell her, dis you apply the manufacturer coupon. 2 outta 7 times they get it right ! The Spyro is well run and ok as long as you don it need a prescription filled. Most unfriendly unprofessional staff. It's close to home but I'm better off driving 1/2 hour to a different place to get prescription filled. Never any good help here... just same excuses over and over again and long waits. The store is fine. I shop here often. It's just like any other Walgreens. I like their free rewards program. All you have to do is type in your phone number and you get random discounts when you shop. With that being said, the pharmacy here isn't the best. The hours are short, the prescriptions I need are usually out-of-stock, and the customer service hasn't been the best. I wanted to start coming here because it is close to home, but I drive the extra 5 minutes and go to Jewel-Osco to avoid the hassle. read more

Had to go in recently to look for some "blue or purple" shampoo according to the stylist who just colored my daughter's hair. Had never heard of such a thing and didn't think they'd have it. A young girl saw us looking around and asked us if she could help. She came over and knew exactly what we needed and showed us a few items and gave us more information that we asked for. The store is self is fine, the pharmacy is a different story. When we first moved down the street, i was excited to have a walgreens close. I receive prescriptions monthly so having it close is a huge plus for a fulltime working mom. The pharmacy has always seemed understaffed, always felt bad for them. NOW theyre cutting their hours by 2hrs M-F!!! The pharmacy will now close at 7pm. Thats a big difference when a fulltime working mom cant get her son into the doctor until after 5pm. Add in drive time, wait time & then wait time at the pharmacy and its well after 7pm. Very disappointing. read more

I can't submit for new prescriptions on the app without an issue because they haven't saved my new insurance in the system, so every time I do try to use the app, I end up having to call their automated system which is beyond frustrating. VERY frustrated with the wasted 1 1/2 hours spent dealing with confusion among the employees here while dealing with the photo dept. I go in with a stack of photos to scan (didn't have them digital) and the young man was helpful with showing me how to scan them one by one. He advised that I could switch them easily at the end of the order to black and white and then went on break. After scanning almost 40 photos in (and it scans so slow!) a friendly lady employee then showed me how to go in one by one to switch them to black and white. Ughh... about an hour later I left with the photos ordered for an hour pick up. Shortly after I get a call from them saying they are sorry that the manager just advised them they are unable to print black and whites... seriously?! Then why offer?! They were friendly but said for me to come in the next morning and speak to a lady that she MIGHT be able to assist. Next day I go in and no one seems to know what went wrong but they would work on it. A few hours later I get a call that the photos are done and a cd is made. I am charge $16 for the 38 photos and a cd and get home to find the photos look like crap as they have a green tint to them. What better thing to do but yelp it as I wait for all of the photos to load to the WALMART online photo app that I ordered my prior ones from that were available digitally. I typically come to this walgreens for photo pick up. I use the walgreens app to purchase photos and they are always ready in about 30min, super quick!! Recently I took a trip to the local Walgreens (Huntley, Illinois 9950 N Il Route 47). Normally, I am in and out with my business; however, this experience was better than usual! When I was finished with my shopping, I still needed to get my photos developed. If you know me, I could not understand technology for the life of me! There was a young man who was working at the photo center by the name of Jack. He understood my situation explained everything to me, which most members of the "younger generation" would not take the time to do. I was pleasantly surprised when Jack finished my prints within, what seemed to be, seconds! He smiled and told me to "have a great night"! I told him that he needs to teach my grandson a lesson in respect! I appreciate that employees like him keep Walgreens on the corner of happy and healthy. read more
