I had never been to this Walgreens in Homestead. I came by Walgreens in the days leading up to my move to get a flu shot. My insurance through my old company was going to cancel and I was going to be without insurance for 13 days until I started with my new company. I didn't want to get on planes or move to a new area without getting a flu shot. I went to this Walgreens in particular because the pharmacy was open 1 hour before the one I usually go to and I had so many things to get done Came in and after waiting for someone to get their meds, I asked to get a flu shot. This pharmacy is always difficult to work with. They close at odd days guess if from lack of employees, employees change all of the time, and even got shorted on pills and now having to deal with my insurance or pay for the shortage out of pocket. Very bad service. read more

Even though they're not open 24 hours, I had somehow arrived right on time before they closed. I just needed to buy some ibuprofen and shampoo before driving further south into Key Largo. It's convenient to stop here for a huge variety of wellness, grocery, or household items. I was extra satisfied because I found that I had somehow accumulated a bunch of points and was able to use them as a discount on my total bill. Even though I ended up going over what I originally came to purchase, the extra items I picked up were perfectly useful items such as bug spray and hand sanitizer which you could never have too much of. My cashier was friendly, attentive, and efficient making my stop here so much more useful and worthy. It's located further east than the Turnpike on 328th so it's right on the way towards the main expressways and roads needed for commuting in the area. read more

Everything is standard at this Walgreens except for the pharmacy. One pharmacist named Candace G. is super condescending and rude. Anytime we asked her a question she looked at us like we were stupid for not knowing and answered us in a really annoyed tone. We also ordered an extra OTC medication but she never gave it to us so why the condescending attitude when she can't even do her job completely? Not a great start to the morning for us. I hope she dials it back a bit and gets off her high horse. If you don't like your job, get another one! Simple as that. read more

This pharmacy is the worse!! They would not help me when I told them I was without my blood pressure medication when I got there 10 minutes before they closed. They literally closed the window on me. No compassion!! I had to go to another Walgreens because they told me the prescription would not be ready until the next day at 11 am. Hours are inconvenient!! They say they never receive the prescription from the doctor!! I'm done!! They treat you like crap!! Every time I have a prescription sent there it's the same thing!! I've learned my lesson!! Never using them again and I'm going to blast them all over social media!! All my friends in homestead will know what kind of service to expect from this place!! I am so happy w this Walgreens!! My family and I live in NY, down here for a vacation. I am having the worst cold in my life and it's triggering my tooth pain..... asked the pharmacist to call my dentist and filled a script right on the spot. Both pharmacists were extremely caring and courteous. Highly recommend! read more

Waited on the phone over 30 minutes only to be hung up on. Drive thru pharmacy is slow. Everything is slow and run poorly. Do. Or recommend at all. I travel 2 miles further because of the service. read more

How can I start! I have been coming to this Walgreens since the day it opened. It's the only Walgreens I know where the Employees know exactly what cigarettes I get when I show up, how they greet me with my name and always have a smile! A++ to Vivian who is super friendly and converses with the customers. She really knows how to give great customer service. Like I said, I love this Walgreens and will continue to come. The store is always clean and stocked up. When ever I look around with wondering eyes, and employee and or even the store manager who is also super friendly asks if I need help, and if I do they will stop what they are doing and go help me look for what I need. read more

During the summer, I came here every day for a week to get my lunch before I went to dance. This place is so close to my house, and sometimes I just like to ride my bike there. The people are friendly and know how to help you. I can trust this Walgreens whenever I go there. read more

This is by far THE best store in this area! The employees are over the top nice from the pharmacy to the front register. I'm not sure what happened to the first reviewer but it's not an accurate portrayal of this Walgreens. There are no other stores of any kind in Homestead that is this pleasant to go in! read more

My fav one in the homestead area. Ppl are nice and I mostly go to the pharmacy cause all others are usually packed of ppl. Just wish this one was 24hrs as well. Almost every day I'm in and out with no wait. Unless it's afternoon when school is out and all the kids hangout there. That's annoying but I wait for late afternoon or early before 2pm. read more
