This afternoon I drove to Walgreens to purchase a few items. The store was messy with carts holding merchandise that needed to be placed on the shelves. Two carts were left in the aisles blocking the path so only one person could pass down a portion of the aisles. A lot of the merchandise that was supposed to be on sale was not available which was disappointing. I asked the cashier for a price check on an item that was in a box listed at a lower price than was displayed on the package. He didn't do a price check he told me the price was the price listed on the item. The price on the box the item was in was wrong. He was not very pleasant. I came home an deleted my Walgreens account on-line and will never step into a Walgreens again. If I could have rated the store at zero stars I would have done so! read more

Stopped by to get a few things on 7/6/21 around 8:30 pm. This was my first visit. The store was clean and organized for the most part. I noticed that a lot of things were locked up in the soap, detergent, & ethnic hair care aisle. That's very annoying! I was able to quickly find my things and proceed to the check out. The cashier was NOT very friendly, but she did her job. Maybe she had a rude customer right before me. I don't know. If I'm ever in the area again, I will be back. We went in this evening, myself, 2 kiddos and my husband. We all needed our flu shots and did not want to wait for the base to get them in stock a month from now. It's did take sometime sorting throughout the insurance, but the staff at the pharmacy were amazing! They were so kind, patient and friendly. They had a full line for both the drive thru and in the store. The man working the drive thru was so calm and polite to all his customers. The woman who administered all our shots was so kind and did well with our kiddos. Our kiddos surprised her with how well they handled their shot. This pharmacy was seriously amazing!!! read more

Unattended to phone calls for over an hour, my wife needed her medication before the next day before 10, so we called the night before only to wait for an hour for no one to pick up. I call the pharmacy this morning to check on the status of prescription right at 9 and some way some how they can't answer the phone and apparently their are 3 or more people in front of me. read more

I'm glad they had the Advil and ice packs. Never a dull moment. This is a pretty busy store. Based upon that, I wasn't able to find all items. The lines were long, but to the employees credit, they gave all they had. All were friendly, and there's a pharmacy here too. They were out of the generic Zyrtec, so I got the brand name for more. Things like that can be frustrating. It's not the end of the world, but right now inflation isn't fun. Having the generic would have been far less. Yet I also shouldn't have forgotten it, especially as the area kicks my allergies up. This store is decent enough, and glad it is here. That alone is helpful to community members and visitors alike. read more

This the worst pharmacy I have ever used in my life. The drive through takes minimum 30 minutes even when only 1-2 cars are ahead of you. Some of the employees are helpful but others provide zero customer service and do not hide the fact that they do not care about you. At all. More than once I've gotten a text that a prescription is ready, only to wait in line for eternity and then find out it is not ready. No apology, no explanation. The management of this store really needs to do better. Do whatever you can to avoid this place. read more

This is by far the worst Walgreens I have ever been in. I made a purchase and realized while I was at the counter, and the purchase was complete that an item rang up at the wrong price. I asked the cashier to please do a price adjustment the lead cashier did not know how to calculate a percentage off and how to do a refund. The manager Kris came over and was rude and nasty. He told me I could not bring something back to get a lower price because it is on sale now and it was not when I purchased it. I told him I just purchased it I felt embarrassed. I was very upset for the long wait and I decided to go ahead and return everything and not return to the store, their managers customer service was absolutely horrible. This is quite literally the worst pharmacy that I have ever been to outside of the excepted hour wait times that the normal customer has become accustomed to this time that I went to refill a prescription that is typically auto filled. I pull up yesterday. They told me that they don't have my prescription. OK cool it took four hours for them to fill it, and then they fill it for vitamin D, and not the actual medication I need to save my life. I have an auto immune disorder and the reaction when my medication is not taken, can be severe to be inconvenienced twice on top of already routinely receiving terrible service is is what most upsetting however, the disregard to my personal situation. The amount of gas I have time I'm able to get off from work and schedule an hour to sit in the line for prescriptions put the cherry on top when we're talking about peoples livelihood I think it should be taken a little more serious. read more

We've repeatedly had issues with this pharmacy, but this most recent experience was the last straw. We've been trying for TWO weeks to get this ONE prescription refilled. We've been to the pharmacy in-person to sort it out FOUR times, I called THREE times yesterday and was disconnected for no reason TWICE (once after being on hold for 25min and again after being on hold for 50min). We've heard countless excuses for why they haven't filled it yet, from "the doctor needs to re-fax/re-authorize it" to "there's an insurance issue", all of which was BS because we contacted the doctor and the insurance company and there were no hangups on their end. The doctor and insurance representative even tried to call the pharmacy themselves to see what the issue was and were also unable to get through (or were flat-out hung up on). I spent 15 years working customer service, so I tend to be REALLY understanding/patient as far as staffing issues and such go, but at this point, my husband is 3 days late for his medication and the pharmacy is busy lying about whose fault it is rather than just owning up to their shortcomings and getting things done. read more

Had an infant with double ear infections who needed medicine STAT. My usual Walgreens didn't have it in stock, so they re-routed me here. It was raining, rush hour, and I had a screaming infant. When I rolled up, they said they hadn't filled it yet and I just about started crying. The woman said to hold on, put a rush on it, and we got out of there in about 10 minutes. I'm here at 2:40pm on New Year's Eve and there are 2 people working 2 registers up front with about 7-8 people in each line and I need to pick up a package in the photo department. No one is available. I asked one of the staff members working the register in the front of the store if I could get some assistance in photo and she said, "I will be there in a little bit." Meanwhile the 2 lines in the front of the store get longer as I sit here writing my review. But I'm basically waiting in the photo department as the only 2 people working in the store check out 25 people. This is some BS. read more

I've been in drive thru for 30min(at window) watching the tech assist a customer never acknowledged the drive thru I press the call button never responds just turn it off and started helping another customer.... Finally comes to the window and tells me she has nothing for me then says what was it for lmao The hat do you have the prescription or not going forward she has it they just didn't check the computer for the prescriptions that had been sent in by the doc this is by far the worst place in they say don't say never but I mean NEVER will I ever send a prescription here again....btw it was a young lady walking back and forth never saying anything even came to the window to use the stapler had to come back and add after all of that she says come back in a hr WHAT!! I don't feel good donkey she then says if insurance isn't connected to the prescription they won't fill ok so did you have it or you didn't smh girl I have strep throat it's $10 Wth forget insurance I'll get it if I have insurance or not so now I have to go back ugh......the whole experience was 58min read more

I went to Walgreens to pick up my blood pressure medication. When I arrived the stated that they have a new procedure and my medication would be ready tomorrow. I explained to the person at the window My doctor stated if I didn't get this medication today I will be forced to go to the emergency department. He again stated it was nothing he could do. I left and had to report to the ER. I spent 6 hours in the ER getting a whole work up in order to get my medicine. The next day I called at 11am to ask if my medicine had arrived and the lady that answered the phone stated that it was there and once they process it in I would get the notification on my phone. I asked her if she could just make sure it was there and I would wait if not I would have my doctor use another pharmacy. The lady stated she would check the manifest. When she came back to the phone she stated that my name was not up there, she then stated she pulled my prescription and now she can fill it. I have been using this pharmacy for almost 2 years, since we moved to Hampton and they were awesome in the beginning. I have several meds and my dog has one. Just in the past 6 months, they have gone completely downhill-can't keep staff and the few they do have are full of attitude. I actually had a pharmacist walk away when I was talking with her- couldn't be bothered. I understand they are working hard, I do to- I'm a nurse- but NO ONE DESERVES TO BE TREATED WITH DISRESPECT. We are even lucky if meds get filled on time. They need to do something here fast. read more

Worst Walgreens Pharmacy! I am one to give people many chances and I've given this pharmacy 6 months and every time I come to get my prescription it is never ready even if it's monthly.. I also will call ahead and while they say it will be ready it never is. I then ask what to do next time and they just apologize and say to call ahead. After 6 months nothing has changed. Stopped by to have a prescription filled for a much need medication. I'm standing in line listening to a customer already at the counter who had to come back for second day to pick up her medication but the refrigerator wasn't working. So of course she was angry and couldn't get her medication. I drop off my prescription hoping to maybe wait 15-20 minutes to get it filled and they said I would have to come back tonight after 6 o'clock. I asked you guys look understaffed in this department and she said yes we are. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Then I go to try to find something as simple as hair gel and of course their selection was so minuscule and they did not have what I needed. Needless to say I was very very upset about this. I'm either going to try another Walgreens or I'll just go to CVS. read more

This place is horrible. The store manager Josh is immature and careless. This place has way too much favoritism and they do NOT follow the rules. The registers are always backed up and the pharmacy too because corporate refuses to have enough staff on a shift. Then they wonder why the customer service is in the 30s. Fraternization, favoritism, and everything is on one person. Nothing wrong with working hard, but nobody should be used and abused. The BBB is my next step. I've only been in this store twice and I'm not one to review a store unless they make a big impression. I LOVE this store and plan on becoming a regular. The customer service was beyond what other stores offer. First time I used their photo kiosk and soft have my charger to connect my phone so they lent me a connector. They periodically checked to see how I was doing and after checking out I noticed a sales sign I didn't apply to my order so they were kind enough to apply the sales price even though it was my mistake!!! The second time I was on a coupon mission and two of my coupons wouldn't ring up. It was close to closing (Yelp correction: they close at 10pm!!!! I had no clue) but they stayed open late to investigate why the coupons weren't working and discounted the items anyways. I was willing to let it go and leave so they could close but they were apologizing to me and helping me get my great deal! I was wowed by their excellent customer service. The store itself is very clean, organized and offers amazing sales. I have never really been in Walgreens but I love this one! read more

Everyone at this Walgreen's was so nice! I couldn't find something cause it was sold out, but she told me when it would be in and when I should come to get it so it wouldn't be sold out again.
