This gas station has a metal gauge that pops up while you are filling. I couldn't see the numbers on it and wanted the attendant's help. He said he gave me quarters and showed me the gauge so it was now my problem to solve. Went to the station on Grange & 76th street. They have new user friendly equipment. Just set the number of pounds, pay with CC or quarters and it beeps when the tire is at pressure. Guess where I will be buying my gas from now on?

I drive my car until the gas light comes on because I know how big my gas tank is and the fuel economy of the car is so I have a 3 gallon buffer which worst a case of 50 mile range. My fuel light came on the previous day but I never push it so I stopped here and the first thing out of habit is I yank on the credit card reader to make sure a fake one isn't on top and I noticed a warning sticker on it and the access door so if the pump is tampered with the customer will know which is cool. Eventually the thief's will get warning stickers to fool people to overcome this but I still thought it was cool that the are making an attempt to prevent fraud.

Other were 2 for $4 (yes, I am a fan of energy drinks. Please don't judge!). The one thing that I would like to see improve is having all of the checkouts open at the same time. At my last visit, there were only 2 out of the 3 registers open. Meanwhile, there was a line of people waiting to checkout. Not cool when you are there on your lunch hour and have a limited time to accomplish things. Things would have moved a bit faster if all of the registers would have been open. This is a smaller store that looks like it's a neighborhood grab and go market with a small variety but I did notice hot foods and food bars. The produce bin was small so all the fresh fruit and veggies I was pondering was not going to happen. This is not necessarily a bad thing but I was looking for a full store to browse because I never plan my food shopping or meals in advance because I need variety/different meals so I never know what's on for the next few days.
