It's been cloudy the last few days and that means the solar panels on the Sprinter van aren't pulling in much power. So I checked the app and found that this Kwik Trip in Franklin has a free Level 1 charger! Fantastic. So while I was here waiting for some electrons to flow, I got a quick snack, another cup of coffee and used their restroom. Well stocked, clean and a tremendous selection. I had to be at work a 6am and not my normal me so I was unprepared for coffee and something to eat, it was a 9 hour shift with no break so I couldn't go anywhere until I was done. I remembered that KT was on my drive so I decided to go in for the first time because I know KT had a gizilan coffee choices and breakfast sandwiches, one of each would would tide me over for the day. OMG the young woman at the register was so enthusiastic/friendly at 6am so I complemented her on her awesome attitude. I grabbed the strongest coffee and the the sausage, egg, cheese croissant to go. As far a the breakfast croissant goes was it the best, heck no the flattened thing but the cheese had great flavor and the sausage patty was not bland with a zesty flavor that surprised me and if I didn't wait four hours to eat it and it was hot when I bought it it would have been a pretty good gas station breakfast sandwich I thought. read more

They don't enforce masks or distancing which makes me wonder about the back area sanitation. Their delivery people still used disabled parking (see reviews below) and sometimes block the doors. On the plus side workers are friendly and fast, prices are good, and it has a good car wash. The positives just don't balance out the risky conditions and the lack of respect for the disabled. read more

I wouldn't have thought to review a gas station but this one deserves it. First of all, it's really clean inside and out. I've always found the lot to be clear and well lit. To access the car wash you need to drive around the back of the main building and this area is also clean and easy to see your surroundings. The staff are always friendly and pleasant despite having a huge turnover of customers. I know how exhausting this can be and I never feel like a burden to them. They will often offer something extra(pastry, car wash, etc) but aren't pushy about it. They are also helpful when it comes to searching for a product or showing me how to use the fancy coffee machine. I have purchased hot food and prepackaged sweets and milk here, but they have expanded what's available by adding meats and more produce. They are great in a pinch and don't overcharge the way other gas stations are known to do. I like the car wash, and so does everyone else apparently because it's always busy. However, did you know that even if you buy a wash code, you have 30 days to use it?? I think that's cool because I don't always have a lot of time to wait. The brushes are soft/spongy so it's just as gentle and effective as the touchless wash. read more

This location is exceptional in a bad way. 1. For whatever reason, the management allows the delivery guys to block the entrance walkway (see photo). Other Kwik Trips never allow this behavior and some even have signs to that effect. 2. The large square handicapped button, for opening the door, has never worked. 3. The staff who fry the chicken have their own mistaken idea of customer service. All other area Kwik Trips bring out the various choices of the chicken pieces and strips at 10 a.m. every day. They have it available until mid to late afternoon. This store is usually sold out by early afternoon like 1:30 or 2 p.m. Today, I tried to buy fried chicken at the Franklin location a little after 11 a.m. I asked the young lady if they'd sold out of the chicken. In a terse voice she said "On weekends, we don't bring it out until..E.L.E.V.E.N." I won't bother them again. read more

Todays trip was ugh... shout out to the cashier who gave excellent service, but the woman who i asked to help me with what I was looking for was rude and i immediately knew they knew who I was because they were on their headsets saying..."that's the one from yelp!!" LMAOOOO!! if you know I'm looking for a pleasant experience for even 5 minutes, because they had to get my order from the freezer, just do your job and send me on my way ... you don't even have to fake a smile. what you shouldn't do is continue to talk about me in front of me and roll you eyes at me. I know my money isn't much compared to how much you guys make... but my voice is loud enough without even having to talk loudly!! Start treating people the way you'd want to be treated!! What is so hard about being a decent human being!! I work hard for the money I pay out to you guys on the daily... people are going to stop being afraid of speaking up sooner or later.... We appreciate Kwik Trips and this location is no exception. Store is always clean They have way more product than just convenience items. Competitive pricing Helpful staff who is always moving. (Opening new lanes, rotating product, cleaning floors & bathrooms, stocking product, cleaning counter tops, washing drink dispensing machines, restocking condiments, etc). They switch out hot foods so they remain fresh; time stamping food items as they are brought out from the kitchen. Staff treats customers like "guests" and as if they are a valuable asset; which is a platform of success in this industry. It's very obvious that much planning & attention to detail goes into daily operation. Staff goes out of their way to assist customers/guests. If they don't know the answer to your question, they usually go out of their way to get one for you. Great company who treats their employees well. I just bought rotisserie chicken that they have on Sale this week and have to say it is the most moist and delicious chicken I have ever "ate". I was told that it is only $1.00 cheaper on sale but no one realizes they sell Rotisserie chicken there. I have had there breaded chicken but for now on I am totally sold. I've had more positive interactions with the Kwik Trip staff than I can count which is why I'm posting a review. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. I have frequently purchased salads & they're always fresh. One of the employees was determined to get my favorite salad dressing when they ran out. She recognized me & made sure they had it upon my next visit. Another employee pointed out the croutons, etc. that I had previously overlooked-this same employee introduced me to the Kwik Trip rewards card & shared how I could benefit from having one. One morning I thought I'd get a car wash before work, unfortunately, the stall I entered was being repaired & I was asked to enter the next stall over, but I had already entered the code. The very kind employee entered a new code for me & even gave me an upgrade! My husband & I are huge fans. You guys rock!!! read more
