If they're busy, it's almost impossible to get in or out of the lot and you're always going to end up sitting and waiting for at least 1 person to move. The parking lot is always dirty (trash laying everywhere) and in the winter, you're lucky if you can safely walk in the parking lot or on their sidewalk leading up to their main door. If you want to clean your windows, I hope you have Windex and paper towels in your car because the chances of them having any cleaning solution by the pumps is slim. I understand not having it in the winter (or not having it very full) but during the summer, not having any makes no sense. AND if they do have any I would wipe off the squeegee first otherwise it is pointless to try and clean your windows - they will end up dirtier then before you tried to clean them. It's not very well lit at night (in my opinion). If I need to stop and get gas at night I will go to a different Speedway (if possible) or a completely different gas station all together. Once inside, the cramped feeling remains. If I get a soda from the fountain, I usually throw out the 1st cup I grab because it's got something sticky on the outside. Consider yourself lucky if you can actually get any ice with your soda since most of the time, they're out of ice. And good luck getting an employee to refill the ice. If you want a cold soda, you're better off grabbing one from the cooler. The inside has a smell to it as well. A smell I have never noticed at any of the other Speedway locations. Their selection of chips or snacks leaves something to be desired. You would think that all Speedways would have a very similar if not the same selection but this one doesn't. There are only 3 reasons that I will stop here: 1. It's very close / convenient to where I live 2. It usually has the cheapest gas prices compared to other gas stations in the area. - Not always but usually. 3. When I do stop here, I can at least get some speedy rewards points added to my rewards card.

There are eight pumps and at night, they are lit up for safety. The store is a decent size and clean, with lots of food and beverages to choose from. The man working the counter has always been very nice. Welk's is now my go-to place for getting my emissions checked and the guy that does that is very friendly as well. Attached to the store is a working garage with at least two bays, but fortunately, I have not had to use it yet. There is also a car wash available, and in summer, it is always busy. Because of it's proximity to both the freeway and my house, I will be a frequent customer here. Convenience, indeed! 15/2017

I went to this gas station yesterday because my car was so dirty I couldn't see out of the windows and needed a wash. I also bought gas. No problems there. However, the regular car wash costs $8. It is $7 if you buy at least 8 gallons of gas (which, btw, = $30 with current prices). They offer 4 types of washes, the $8 wash is the cheapest. The Extreme wash was $12. Yikes! I think $7 for a simple car wash is pretty outrageous. But it gets worse. First, there was a line. I waited for about 15 minutes. Second, when you enter the car wash, the floor/ground is so uneven that your car gets stuck and you have to rev forward or back. I went too far because of a big bump. A computer voice yelled at me "ba-up ba-up-ba-up" which apparently meant "back up" to any human voice. The wash just did an abysmal job. Spots of dirt remain. It does not get side mirrors. Worst of all, the drying system: the floor by the blowers was so bumpy it was impossible to get an even dry. My car got stuck and I had to lurch forward to get to the next bump to stick my tires. Overall, I will not be back. The car wash is a total scam. For a decent one, try the station on 70th and Main St (near state fair park). Better price and better wash.

Even though I paid at the pump, I went into the station to (1) inform the clerk that there was a problem, and (2) ask if I could use my prepaid car wash code at another BP location since it was taking so long to fill up and there was a big line for the car wash. Response to issue #1: Yeah we know, they have to fix it." Me: "Can't you put a sign up in the meantime indicating there's a problem with the pump?" Clerk: "I can't put signs up. You have to be higher up in the company to do that." Seriously? Am I on candid camera? Are Jay and Silent Bob around the corner?!? Response to issue #2: "I don't know. You can try it...." Great. So I'll drive to another BP nearer to my home just to "try it" and if it doesn't work, I'll drive back across town to hang out in line at this one. Oh, and thanks for the tip. I never would have thought to "try it" at another station to see if it works. Think this review is long? I've been typing it while in the car wash line. Fifteen minutes in and only half way through the line. Bottom line: don't come here.

I used to frequent this gas station location when I worked in the area. I recently visited and…read morenoticed they are now under the Clark name, versus the prior, Amstar. I've always found the location to be well lit, clean, and reasonable priced gas for the location. They are typically cheaper than the other gas stations in the area. They have contactless pay at the pump, which I love. The window cleaner and paper towels are always stocked as well. An air pump for tires and vacuum is also available for a small fee and use on site.

Aside from brand, there is little to differentiate them: these stations generally operate with prices locked in sync with each other. Further, they seem to take advantage of their position adjacent to major on/offramps for the Interstate system; their prices are typically higher than other area stations by a nickel to a dime per gallon. Worse, if you want to get mid or premium gas, their costs for those are jacked up more than the typical dime per tier as well. Today, their prices are $2.95 reg $3.08 mid $3.21 prem Whereas a nearby Jetz (south) is $2.85 reg $2.95 mid $3.05 prem and Phillips 66 to the north is $2.87 reg $2.97 mid $3.05 prem You can draw your own conclusions as to why I've given them the rating I did.
