I am writing this complaint in regards to my experience yesterday at the 10th Ave. S. location in Great Falls, MT. I go in this location ALL the time and I mean ALL the time. I have never been treated bad by any of the store staff, until yesterday. I went into the pharmacy (for a friend) - I shop elsewhere for my pharmacy and this is why. I needed to pick up her 3 prescriptions (she's home with pneumonia) and I was also looking for an oximeter that she needed. She had spoke with someone on the phone about oximeters when she was making sure I could grab her scripts. When I walked in they were really busy, so I waited until someone came available. The gentleman made me address him to be waited on - I had to pop between pick up and consultation to get his attention. I told him I needed to pick up 3 prescriptions for my friend, but that I really needed help finding an oximeter. He looked at me like I was an alien, so I grabbed the cheapest one, showed it to him and asked, my friend said you have one for around $10? He goes, I don't think so, (without even looking), so I said maybe you could ask around? Next to him was a pharm tech named Velma and she very rudely and abruptly said, what you see is what we have and pointed in the direction. I said, I might be missing it, could you help me? I said I know you have one, my friend called in. She responded she would call a store employee to answer my question about an oximeter that is right there in the pharmacy. When the "employee" walks up - it's a manager and she was not AT ALL nice. I tried to ask her if she had an oximeter cheaper than the one I had found. She without even looking said, what you see is what we have. (Is this the basic response when someone asks for help?) I said, my friend called in and she quickly interrupted me to say, No she didn't, I would have talked to her. I was like, are you sure, because I know she wouldn't lie to me about calling and I know she talked to someone about her prescriptions. She rudely stated No again and went to turn and walk awawy and just dismiss me. I said, excuse me, what is your name? and she turns around and says, Shawna, I'm the manager. I said, good, because I am calling about both you and Velma. You are terribly rude! To which she replied, you were rude first! and she turned around and walked off. Now here's the thing. I've worked customer service over 30 years now. I get it. I totally do. There is not a day I wouldn't have gotten at least written up if not fired if I talked to or treated anyone that way, regardless if I "felt" they were rude first. I had been treated horribly for asking for a product I intended to buy and then when confronted by a manager, she didn't even have the decency to ask or address any issue I was having. She added to it! Any competent manager should be able to deescalate an angry customer simply by asking what the problem was. I was angry - it was ridiculous. Something appropriate to say would be, sorry for your experience, I understand your upset, let's get to the root of the problem. None of that - she literally poured gasoline on the fire with her crap Monday attitude. I don't appreciate it. For the record, I bought the $40 oximeter because I really needed it. My friend can't let her oxygen drop below 90 or she needs to go back into the hospital. There wasn't a cheaper one, I was mistaken about that, but my friend did talk to someone on the phone that she said was friendly and helpful - so it couldn't have been Shawna. I'm not one to complain - it really has to be a bad experience for me to go out of my way to say something. I too, work in customer service and I try to give people grace, but the whole experience from the guy in the pharmacy, to Velma, to Shawna - was appalling! I daresay I won't be going there anymore. Literally if anywhere else is open, I will take my business elsewhere. Thank you - and since I already see a number of complaints about Shawna along with a lot of 1 star reviews regarding your pharmacy staff - I hope something gets done to address her very unprofessional manner when dealing with customers. read more

Some gal (sounded younger) by the name Shirley or maybe Sherry? Was extremely rude on the phone. Wouldn't let me ask me ask one simple question then interrupted me with the point I was making anyways. Made herself look like a complete idiot. She clearly couldn't handle any sort of pressure at her job nor does she have the mental capacity to talk on the phone or even simply deal with people in general. Hope they have a chat with her. Extremely rude & unprofessional all over a common simple question. I've been going there for awhile with not too many issues except her ignorant rude self. read more

Kasey helped me through the process of placing my order, found a coupon promo code for me, and had my order ready to pick up within the hour. If I could leave ZERO stars I would. Managers Clint and Shawna on tenth are extremely rude and per a call to corporate, create policies that do not exist. Do NOT count on this store for customer service of any kind, let alone good- Clint invited me to leave him and his store a single star review as he says his job is secure. I hope they record their phone calls. Would NOT recommend to anyone. For five years I have been picking up FedEx packages addressed to my home with an ID showing same address. Clint and Shawna say no way! Call to corporate states that with an ID and same address package should be CONVENIENTLY picked up. Now my box is headed back to sender and I will have to miss a day of work to be home for delivery- and even with my husband's name on the label, FedEx will still let me have the box. If I could give 1 star I would. It used to be a great store, but over the past year it has gone down as low as can be. They ask for your private information instead of ID to verify your identity, when I refused to announce my date of birth and address, out loud, for everyone in ear shot to hear, they got very nasty. I offered my ID instead, they flat refused! It escalated quickly, finally she took my ID but because it didn't match the address that they had, they didn't want to give me my non narcotic medication. If I could give a zero I would. Called to check on a prescription that said I didn't have insurance. One of my prescriptions had insurance not the other. How in the hell can that be. So I called to check on it, after hearing the recording tell me I'm the next caller in line. Waited 15 minutes listening to the recording letting me know I'm next in line. When someone finally did answer, they kept saying can you hear me even after they heard me the first time. This happens 90 percent of the time. I asked the employee about the B.S. all I got was they are short handed. Then why the "F" don't they hire . This store is a Joke of all Jokes. The Great Falls pharmacy on 10th is the most god awful, horrible pharmacy on the planet. Don't expect to every get anything in a hurry or correctly. They are awful. read more

Hard for me because the pharmacy tech was above and beyond helpful with items unrelated to my prescription. However, on a road trip I had a maintenance medication refilled here in our way through. Later that even and opening prescription realize they filled less than half of the pills! What an inconvenience! Called and said they would escalate to the manager tomorrow since we're now far from the store. read more

Dr. called in 2 scripts for me at 9am. Showed up to walgreens at 3:30pm and the gal working the pharmacy couldnt tell me why one of them didnt get filled. Would you like us to fill it? NO! Walmart will fill it in 15 minutes, yall have had 6 hours! 6 hours! Very unprofessional, very rude, very slow when I try to get scripts filled here. NEVER EVER AGAIN. read more

I've had nothing but troubles with Walgreens. They can never seem to get my prescriptions filled correctly and they take forever to process. I loved CVS but for insurance changes I had to switch. When I try to call, it's a struggle to get a human to talk to. read more

Don't go here unless you want to die from poor service. Been going here for a year and nothing has gotten better. Store is ok, but if you get prescriptions filled, go to the other side of of town. Plan on waiting at least 5 minutes, if you are the only one in line read more

Walgreens is right up the street, been pleasantly surprised with almost every stop in. Not every staff you encounter is equally competent or gracious but that's to be expected and doesn't bother me too much. Nothing exceptional but well run and usually clean. Grocery selection is quite limited but will get you by in a pinch. Pharmacy is average price and has been helpful with questions. Redbox outside read more

Incompetent pharmacy. Will never enter their store again. My daughter and her husband made appointments for required Covid tests 72 hours prior to going to Hawaii. Went for their appointments and were told no more tests available. They had traveled 2 hours for their tests which are required to enter Hawaii. They never received a courtesy call telling them tests were gone or anything. Very upsetting and were told no where else to get the test. Daughter is stage 4 cancer and Hawaii is on her bucket list. I am beyond upset that she has been put through this additional stress!!! No apology or anything from them. read more

This store is very diverse. If you shop the deals and ads you can leave with bags full of items with little money spent. I prefer the westside store because they have less out of stocks. The Walgreens brand is very good quality and Walgreens marks their clearance items down very well. I've had a hard time with their photo machines. Their pharmacy is very slow, although friendly. It's a very big pain to return anything, they need manager approval and it's a stupid policy. Many times their coupons do not work or their previous ad stickers will not be pulled down so pricing will not be correct. It can be frustrating. I do enjoy their reward program and tend to save it for Christmas time. Their bathrooms are clean and the store is clean and flows well. They do not let their customers wait too long and are helpful. read more

At best, this store/pharmacy is mediocre. However, last week I called to check on a prescription and was treated so RUDELY by the man in the pharmacy that I pulled my business and have decided to go elsewhere. The store always seems cluttered and dirty, and the people working there act like they hate their jobs and are often unfriendly and, at times, downright rude. I suspect they are grossly understaffed, but that's not an excuse. I'm done. read more

We mainly stopped in because we just left the other Walgreens in town and bought a few Halloween items at 90% off. As we pulled into the parking lot, we noticed the electronic billboard also advertising 90% off Halloween items. After walking a circle around the inside of the store, I stopped to ask some of the employees (who were speaking negatively about the other store in town) where there Halloween items.
