I sat there for 5 mins before going inside to find out they took a lunch break. There were zero signs on the window about lunch breaks. Literally, the MOST INCOMPETENT pharmacy! I get an automated phone call saying there's a delay with filling my RX. I call and the pharmacy tech says something about a hold on my RX due to the pharmacist needing to clear something. Puts me on hold to speak to the pharmacist. I hold for 8 minutes and finally the pharmacist gets on the line. Tells me it's too soon to fill my RX, but not to worry, it will automatically process tomorrow (Friday), and will be ready after 11:00 am. Friday rolls around and I get another automated call saying there's a delay. I wait until Saturday morning and call back. I talk to a very snotty girl who says, "you know we can only fill this prescription one month at a time, right?" Ummmm....when did I ask for more than a one-month supply, beeatch? I'm down to my last dose. Can we get this going? She finally tells me it will be processed and ready today. Around 11:00 am I get an email stating my RX is ready to pick up. I drive to the pharmacy, which is 20 minutes away because I live in a rural area, and when I get there, I'm told there is a lock on the RX that has to cleared by the pharmacist. Unfortunately, the pharmacist is on break. I have to wait 10 minutes for her to return. Pharmacist finally comes back (it was longer than 10 minutes). She calls me up and asks if this my first time taking this medication. I tell her I've been on it for a month. She shakes her head and the tech rings me up. Not another word from the pharmacist I've been waiting to speak with so I can get my medication. I wish I could say this is an unusual occurrence with this pharmacy, but that would be a lie. Multiple times I was told to come back and it would be ready at said time. 4 times I tried coming back it would be ready in 10-15 mins. Never prepared, and don't trust their opening and closing times. They seem to decide when to come and go. read more

I like this Walgreens. The staff is friendly. The downfall is the checkout lines can get long sometimes. I do refill my prescriptions here and I like the pharmacist and the rest of the staff. She will go over the medications and answer any questions. They do make that line go as quick as they can. read more

For one thing more people need to be in the pharmacy. Most of them are rude. I spoke with an oriental woman who was quite rude, spoke fast and she was hard to understand. You're lucky if you get someone who treats you nicely. There are a few there. They advertise delivery, but they make it so difficult. If there was another Walgreens close by I would change, but there isn't. read more

I can not speak more highly about Nicole in the Photo Department!!! Recently, my 91 year old Veteran Grandfather passed away and I placed a large order through Walgreens for his service. In that order was 6 (24 x 36 posters), Nicole had called me to explain that they could only complete half of my order but they wouldn't be able to do the posters since they weren't in stock. In a time that felt like like everything was going wrong Nicole was an absolute Angel! She went out of her way to call other stores to see who had the poster paper in stock, while I called other Walgreens in other areas as well. By the time I got to the store she had said she had found 6 poster papers at another store and was personally going to pick them up and could have them ready for me later that day. I had to drive to Visalia to pay the funeral chapel and by the time I came back they were ready and perfect!! Nicole, I hope you understand how much your kindness, calmness, and your empathy of helping a complete stranger meant to me. Walgreens, I hope you understand how much of a gem you have working for you! She not only deserves a raise but she deserves to climb the management chain!! Customer service, strong work ethic, and genuine great people are hard to come by and it would be a shame if Nicole wasn't used to her full potential. Not only did she help me, but in my short time there I watched her personally help/ make three other people in the Photo Department days brighter! Hideously slow drive-thru pharmacy service. And pharmacy techs that don't know what they're doing. Use another location if you can.

You're charged different prices for different sized photos & yet they never cut them. I have been refused when I ask them to cut them. I shouldn't be charged different prices & then have to cut them myself. I also just placed a card order for 40 5x7 cards. I got home today to find that I was given 0 envelopes. The envelopes are supposed to come with the cards! Every time I walk in, no matter what time of day, there's a line at the front register bc the check out process is pretty slow, then factor in the occasional needy customer, but I'd be walking all around the store to find someone to help me with my photo pick up bc there's never anyone close by. I don't do that anymore, I can see there's nobody in photo when I walk through the door & tell the person at the front register checking people out that I need someone at photo as I'm walking by. read more

This could be the worst drug store in the city of Fresno pharmacist are overworked prescriptions do not get filled they don't answer the phone and when I went down in person the pharmacist just said we don't have enough people to fill prescriptions. I've just had surgery and have been waiting more than 24 hours for pain and anabiotic's and they still do not have a time or day that they can fulfill the prescription. As far as the Pharmacy Department goes, employees are friendly and efficient. I got my booster shot today and everything went smoothly, no wait, no hassles. My appointment was at 10:20 am and got my shot by 10:23 am. First you go to the window labeled "First Window " at the pharmacy center, show your vaccination card and your insurance card , fill out a form and have your temperature checked. Then you go behind a sectional for privacy then a technician comes out and gives you a shot. You don't have to wait by the pharmacy afterwards. You can walk around the store for 15 minutes and leave when 15 minutes is up. read more

After being turned away for a scheduled COVID-19 booster at CVS due to the pharmacist not being up to date with CDC guidelines, I popped into Walgreens to see if they were following latest guidance. "Of course" the pharmacy assistant said as they directed me to their online booking system. Scheduling was a breeze, the appointment happened on time, and the pharmacist I spoke with was knowledgeable about what the current CDC guidelines actually were. I was in and out in in 15 min and now feel much less anxious about waning immunity. Pharmacy is insanely slow. Lined up 3x, and within these times, I'd been told 15 -20 minutes wait. Add that up. I'm still waiting. Really shouldn't tell people 15 to 20 minutes when you know you're not going to be able to finish filling it at that time. I'm fine with waiting, with all this time waiting, i could have been home resting. Update, got my prescriptions, but they forgot to fill the 4th one. Im not waiting another hour... The store itself looks to be quite lovely, if that's what you've come for, but the pharmacy could be a problem. Not very friendly but I think it may be due to overwork. There seems to only be one counter person who must handle the counter and the drive-up window, both of which could get backed up. Well... it's a Walgreens! I'm surprised to see the low rating for this location. Since no-one has written a review for a little while I thought I'd step in. This is my local location so I find it super convenient. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and make the effort to greet you on arrival. I rarely ask for help but when I have they've been able to direct me to the right place, and once in awhile someone will drop by to ask how you're getting on. The selection is fairly limited - I do wish they had a few more higher-end shampoos, for example - but now that I'm learning what they have I can come in for the things I need. There's a decent make-up selection with the usual sales. There's also a decent card selection, a section that switches out seasonally and often has cheap candy or stationery, and a reasonably-sized selection of wines and beers. The cashiers are quick to open a new till whenever there's a line of two people or more. The rewards card comes in really handy and I'm able to redeem cash back a lot more frequently than with other cards. I've only used the pharmacy once but they were really helpful and the pharmacist knew exactly what to do to solve the problem I was having, and was very efficient at trying to solve it. She was also empathetic about the situation and made small talk while on hold with my insurance company. I found them very professional. read more

But I have to say I been to several Walgreens before and I had never had an employee do what this pharmacist did. I came to pick up my prescription and unfortunately one of them wasn't covered under our military Tricare insurance. Just when I was about to pay this young man named Bryan told me to hold on while he got me a coupon that cut my medicine price in half. This young man as busy as he was really didn't have to do that but he took his time to help me out. Went there to buy some beer and they carded me. I'm a 53 year old man and look no where close to 21 years old. The manager came and said it was their policy. Come on people use some common sense when an old man buys beer and doesn't come close to being under 21 do you really need to card him? I think not. When I get beer at save mart they don't card me. Went through the front checkout here tonight and the dude missed a pile of little things that I didn't notice until I had handed him cash. I quickly noticed and pointed it out and he refused to ring it up and made me get in the back of a different line while he rang up the person behind me! I talked to the manager who just blankly stared at me for awhile before mumbling something about talking to the cashier about it. WTF? Also, the pharmacy was closed before 8 on a Saturday which seems weird since the weekend is a busy time to need rx filled in the evening. read more

I have been a Balance Rewards member for over 3 years. SInce June of 2013 my Balance Rewards Points have NOT been given to me due to Walgreens telling me that i was affiliated with a Government Prescription Program..! I have NEVER been affiliated with ANY Government Prescription program and even contact my Insurance company to verify this. They said there is NOTHING on my Prescription account that should block me from getting the points when i buy my Prescriptions. I have contacted Walgreens approximately 8 times and they still can't figure out the issue...! Pharmacy is super slow. Sat in the drive thru with a crying baby for more than 20 minutes with only 2 cars ahead of me. Ridiculous. If I didnt have a crying baby to lug into the store i would have gone in. But standing at the counter i have had to wait forever as well. They need to hire more pharmacy techs. Anyway. I finally get helped and my prescription isn't even ready. After telling the girl I've already waited in line for nearly 30min and my Drs office called in the prescription hours ago. This review is only for the pharmacy portion of this location. We have patronized this location for over 15 years. For the first 13 years they were exceptional. However over the last year or so it has declined to the point we have moved to another pharmacy. Billing errors and waiting more than 30 minutes in the drive thru lane (15 or it was while I was actually at the window) is a bit too much for us to remain customers. These are just two of the many examples of poor service over the last year or so. Hopefully this review will wake somebody up because it appears we are not the only ones taking our business elsewhere (per the pharmacy we called about transferring our meds). read more

I would choose zero star if it was the option. Not a good Walgreens to coupon!!! I don't recommend couponing here. The manager said I only able to grab 4 tides with coupons and the rest I would have to pay the sale price! I have a total of 8 coupons, 4 $1 off 1 tide and 4 $2 off 2 tides, so I would grab 12 tides all together. I just want to note that I am following the coupons rules and the coupons were 2 different coupons. I will not shop here again. Once I confirm the manager that it's 2 different coupons, he said "I don't care". What a bad customer service the manager has!
