Overrated and expensive. I was told about how great my results would look but after all was said and done things looked worse. Dr P left large gashes in his surgical cuts where i could fit my finger in them. I wish I could post the pictures but this post would probably get taken down. I was told to wait a year for results to get better. I did and it did not look better! Just lots of gaping scars. They said they would fix the problems then when i finally saw the doctor said he refused to fix anything and that he never promised anything. They probably hoped that after a year I would just give up. You do NOT get what you pay for in this place but if you have money to burn go for it! I think the Dr may have been good at what he does at one time but he probably needs to retire at this point. I wish I had a good experience here but I did not. Good luck! Update to respond to Athenix's response: I have had other comsmetic procedures done before by other doctors and have never had any issues nor any horrendous scars as a result. Yes, everyone heals differently, however, Dr P's surgical cuts were by far the widest cuts I've experienced for same procedure I've had done in the past by other doctors. I had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with this office, from the front desk to the nursing staff, and even post-operative follow-up. After surgery, I reached out with concerns about my recovery and felt completely dismissed. The nursing staff was unhelpful and lacked empathy, making me feel like my concerns were an inconvenience rather than something that deserved attention. The front desk interactions were equally frustrating and unprofessional. What was most alarming, however, was receiving a phone call from the doctor who mistakenly called me instead of the correct patient, asking how I was feeling in the hospital. I was not hospitalized -- I was calling because I was having issues with my recovery. This error caused unnecessary worry and discomfort and raised serious concerns about communication, attention to detail, and patient safety. Then Dr. P comes into my room with attitude and zero empathy, as if I did something wrong when he's the one to make a mistake. Overall, this experience left me feeling unheard, anxious, and regretful of choosing this practice. Post-operative care is critical, and unfortunately, this was the worst experience I've had in a medical setting. I would not recommend this office to anyone expecting attentive, compassionate, and organized care. This place is a joke. read more

I was there in 2019 for a BBL. After my recovery I noticed how incredibly uneven my hips were from the fat transfer not only were they uneven they were extremely pointy not round nor curvy. I went back in 2020 the doctor of course was no longer there. I had a new doctor that they felt they could help me to even out the hips. The new Dr. made them a little smaller... still pointy and a little less uneven. I was still unhappy. I came back again in year 2021. Another doctor was there! He was supposed to remove the fatty points to make me look more smooth, what he did was removed more fat from areas of my i hips that now I look sunken in in areas and still pointing !!. I have gone to this clinic not once but twice. The first time should've been gotten a clue about their bedside manners. This clinic was not for me. I had liposuction for my wedding in 2019 and received terrible bedside manners the first time. I figured it was a fluke since one of the surgeons there was known for medical neglect. Fast-forward to 2024 I decided to give them a chance since I know that provider was removed from that office and get an extended thighplasty after losing 140 pounds. I was trying to get in prior to starting back to work after maternity leave and schedule my surgery two weeks prior to me starting work. I paid over $13,000 for the surgery and it was roughly the same cost as my liposuction in 2019. During my preop appointments, I had let them know my expectations of recovery as a lot of doctors nowadays are Tylenol happy even with a major surgery. We developed a postoperative plan and I was set to have surgery. I had surgery on September 30 and everything went smoothly. During my recovery, I was in an enormous amount of pain. Due to the fact, they failed to let me know how my incisions were going to be put together and how fragile they are. At my first preop appointment, I was basically paraded around just for them to take pictures and not give two craps about my condition. My second postop appointment the same thing happened except this time they were swapping out my retention tape and we're not gentle about it. I was crying in utter agony to the nurse, letting her know that this was utter hell for me. I was about to run out of my pain medication that I stretched out and that there is no way I could go back to work like this. The nurse was very sympathetic and had let me know there was no issue with the doctor assisting treating my pain as I had about 4 feet of incisions in total with 2 feet on either leg. My husband, mind you was in the room hearing the entire conversation. She had let me know she would speak to the doctor and make sure that I had a adequate prescription for recovery. It rolls on later into the day and I somehow get a phone call stating they were leaving me high and dry all due to the fact I had a different medical issue going on in my life for a Severe back injury, where I had a different prescription that was NOT supposed to be used for this surgery. Mind you I had that prescription locked away unused for when I got better to treatment for my back. NOT THIS SURGERY. They had lied to my primary care physician and stated that the nurse never said the doctor was gonna do anything for me. At that point, I was flabbergasted. I had spoken to not only my primary physician, but my pain management doctor I was waiting to see prior to surgery, and they were disgusted with Dr. Partovi and his staff. They take an oath to do no harm and yet they took my money and ran. My primary care physician ordered me home health care as this type of surgery I had was Extremely major and I couldn't even bathe myself let alone due day-to-day activities. Also, my pain management doctor wanted me in a wheelchair because you can't be walking around with 4 feet incisions with a chance of it busting open. Weeks go by and no one ever reaches out from this clinic. I take time out of the day to call this clinic to talk to the office manager about the disgusting behavior and medical neglect. I work for a hospital system, and I know a lot about how procedures are supposed to go, especially grievances. The office manager was very apologetic to me and stated she was going to speak to the doctor and his director as this was not right. Not only did that not happen, but I am scarred for the rest of my life, knowing they took money from me and didn't even care about how I was. Not only did they cost me money for the surgery, but they cost me money for childcare to take care of my baby who I couldn't even bathe or pick up for 6 WEEKS, They have caused me emotional pain and physical suffering. I am now just getting out of my wheelchair post-op and still dealing with post operative pain. Moral of the story, don't go here! read more

I reached out to schedule a consultation with them and Melissa (who I guess is at a call center), asked me all the screening questions to schedule it. Then she said I didn't qualify, although I said I wanted a balloon, she thought I wanted something else. (Strike one) Then she wanted me to send pictures for the consultation for something other than a balloon procedure where pictures weren't needed. When I asked why she realized what I wanted didn't need photos. (Strike two) Basically they seem wildly unorganized. When I canceled my consultation because of the multiple red flags from their staff not knowing what procedure the person they were talking to wanted. Marci, who was scheduled to give my consultation, just blamed the "call-center". But if you (Marci) know you're having a consultation with a client about a procedure that doesn't require photos and you asked me for photos it's because you didn't really look to see what you were gonna be talking to me about. So I got a breast reduction from this place Dec 1.2022 and let me just say I was very insecure and not confident whatsoever before the surgery and this place made that EVEN WORSE. First I was a size 40E, now I'm a 38-40 D which is what I wanted but the shaping of my breast now looks terrible, my right boob is significantly bigger than my left, and my left boob is now square shaped. And they are suppose to provide a breast lift with their breast reduction but their definition of lift is just moving the nipple up a couple inches..that's not a lift. So now I just cry with my small saggy breast. My breast before were big and saggy ofc but now it's the same just with smaller breast. So thank you for absolutely destroying my self confidence . So now I'll have to go through surgery again just to fix this. read more

Okay, prepare for a very long post! I just want to give you the the entire experience. It took me 10 years of research and action. I was afraid of the surgery and all that came with it. I gained so much weight with my pregnancies that my stomach looked horrible, I was always embarrassed and ashamed. I would never wear a swimsuit. I picked Athenix to do my procedure due to their great customer service, price and urgency of my time frame. I had a ton of questions for Dr. Tran and she was extremely willing to answer them all. After several months post surgery, I noticed some swelling above my belly button (this was not part of the plan). I was extremely concerned and took it to Dr. Tran. While sympathetic, she wasn't sure what was going on and was bluntly honest. That made me scared. It was suggested that I see a GI doctor. I did, it turns out to be an underlying medical issue that is now being treated. I bring this up because had Dr. Tran not been so precise I may have gone another 10 years not knowing. Since my tummy tuck was so perfected, I was able to notice inflammation of my small intestines. I am so incredibly happy with my results (pics below) that I am ready to book my second procedure. The tummy tuck, muscle repair and micro contouring preformed by Dr. Tran has given me so much pleasure and joy every single time I look in the mirror or zip up a pair of jeans. The staff was so kind and professional with me during my journey, as soon as I left the GI doctor with the results I called to tell them. If you are considering Athenix as part of your journey I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. I have been recommending them to all my friends and family. Having a procedure like this is very intimate and intimidating, but can be absolutely life changing. I get compliments daily. I love my body. I look like I did when I was 15. I had saline implants done by Dr. Cirese. Less than six months after surgery I could tell that one breast was noticeably smaller. I mentioned this at the follow up but was told it looks fine. The smaller breast also rests lower. I'm thinking if it were filled more it would have matched the higher breast. Later I realized he put 500cc in one and 550 in the other. You can tell. Not just that, the implants are too large for the amount of liquid used. The implants were under filled. You can see in the photos attached that there's deep rippling. I can burry my finger vertically in the ripple and hide it. It's awful. You get your breast done to feel good, though I always want them covered and actually preferred my old breasts to these. I'm not proud of them. Here a year later I'm looking to have them redone. So disappointed. I would not recommend having your breast done with Dr. Ciresi. read more

If I could give Athenix more than 5 stars, I would especially because of Dr. Partovi. He changed my life. I am 5' and have had 4 babies. My diastasis was really bad. SO bad that I looked around 6-7 months pregnant always. I am very thin otherwise. I'm 120lbs overall even after 4 children. It was very abnormal for me to look that way. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Partovi and had a list of 42 questions and when I tell you he answered every single one of them before I even asked one of them, I knew he was the surgeon for me. He made me feel at ease by the way he listened to me and my concerns. He didn't rush me, made eye contact and really double checked with me to see if I was really satisfied with the consult before he left. I paid my deposit SO fast to get a surgery date. My results are phenomenal. I went in for my 6 week post op just yesterday. When I saw him I hugged him AND CRIED to which he responded, I'm happy you found me and I said NO, I'M HAPPY I FOUND YOU. I was very surprised how my experience went. They're super nice in the beginning to get you in and then they really do not care. When I asked for guidance on the breast massages after my breast augmentation they directed me to YouTube. In January 2020 I had a procedure for breast augmentation with lift by Dr. Ciresi and his team. I cannot stress how comfortable Dr. C made me feel along with his staff! The staff here is very kind but when getting a surgery that's a big deal, kind means nothing. I received a breast augmentation from Dr. Ciresi and came out deeply unsatisfied. From the start, one breast was significantly lower than the other. When I went in, Dr. Ciresi made it seem like it was my fault for "not doing the exercises" but my breasts were that way since day one and I have photos to prove it. He also made it seem like I had an option of leaving as is or fixing (of course with a fee). Luckily I was able to get that fee waived - anyone with good vision could clearly see my breasts were so uneven. I sit here in bed in pain AGAIN because he had to go back in to lift the breast to match the other. This surgery impacted my mental health the first time with not being able to do much physical activity so it is so upsetting that I have to go through these pains again. Dr. Ciresi is a nice individual but he did not once acknowledge that he did mess up because of course it'll affect his wallet/job if he admits to it. Again, dr. Ciresi and the staff were all so kind but boy do I regret coming here immensely. Update: oh and when I post genuine reviews, I expect a genuine response and apology from parties involved. First off, I did not go through with scheduled micro-body contouring procedure. This review is solely on misguided information. I was warmly greeted by smiling front desk personnel and cozy setting. Karina was absolutely amazing with answering questions and addressing concerns leading up to surgery. I was told that I'd be 100% refunded if I needed to cancel the procedure for any reason. Therefore, I agreed to be charged for the procedure to reserve the date, although it was a month in advance. However, I was not refunded 100% when I cancelled and Karina was going to look into that.But I never heard back, despite sending a follow up email. This made me feel as if they just wanted me to pay for the procedure. My updated review is based on the fact that the owner honestly cares about his patients and business. The owner reached out to me and investigated my concern. He dedicated his time to thoroughly explain the situation with respect.
