Went here today because I just discovered all the coupon are in an app. Mind you I've never used it before. Every single person that helped me was so kind and had a smile on their face. But a special shout out to the Cashier Samantha! She helped me with all of my transactions, even had a smile when I made the wrong choices on items. She was just so nice and personable. this place is a joke you order your special order "controlled" medication while they confirm delivery and when you pick up it never arrives but not once do they call Tex you so your able to make arrangements and the pharmacist is the prime responsibility and is so quick to say there are cameras to protect her and denies any wrong doing even if she is the one advising you they have no compassion, understanding let alone empathy I strongly believe this whole place needs completely new staff and people with real degrees and know what there doing! she is a complete disgrace incompetent pharmacist read more

Not my neighborhood Walgreens but the doggie was at the groomers nearby, so I went in to get a few things while I waited for her. I like how the stores are all set up similarly, so it's easy to find stuff no matter which store you're at. The rewards program recently changed at Walgreens, so if you need to change yours over to the new one, be sure to do so to keep earning points (well now it's cash equivalent) and coupon saving offers. Anyway, back to my visit. I found the few items I was there for and checkout was quick. Nice staff! read more

Everything was fine until I was checking out. The cashier was talking in her microphone to someone in the back about her lunch break while there was a 6-person line and she hadn't even called for cashier backup. It took her 5 minutes to check us out even though we had 3 items. I do not want to go back. read more

For over 12 years, I go into Walgreens to get a flu shot, go in to get a flu shot only one in line, I'm disabled walk with two arm crutches, tell the guy I'm here to get a flu shot, he tells me you just can't walk in here and get a flu shot you have to come back Monday, really, don't know what happened to this Walgreens but it ain't worth a crap no more really disappointed, it's time for me to look for a new pharmacy, read more

If I can give it a zero star, I would. I am still on hold as I am writing this. It has been well over 40 minutes and there's an incident of staff hanging up on me after being on hold the first time around. Staff members seem to have a tendency to pick up the call just to put it right back on hold. Very disappointing that the employees could not answer the calls in a timely matter. It was just one prescription that I have been waiting for all day. There was an issue regarding insurance, however, to my understanding, it was resolved in the morning when a staff member called me. But each time I use the automated system to check on the medication, hours after I thought it was resolved, it was still saying that the issue was not resolved. This is what prompted me to get in touch with someone so I can figure it out and get my medication, but it seems like getting patients their medication is not Walgreens pharmacy priority. Hands down the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. No one ever has the courtesy to pick up the line and say "we're extremely busy, May I place you on hold"? You're just left on hold for 15-45 minutes with the unanswered phone ringing endlessly. I had to call the store and ask if they could have the pharmacy pick up the call. I was met with the same tired excuses and my favorite "that's the way the world is now", which was delivered in a nonchalant manner. Turnover is huge at this Walgreens. it's appalling. read more

No one ever knows what to do. Managers are not the smartest or quickest so expect to be there a while and not get what you need.

I live down the block from Walgreens and go there almost daily, the employees always greet me with a smile. I have not had any problems with returns or with mis-priced items. I do most of my couponing here because their sales are great! The store just had some reorganization and it looks awesome! read more

They refused to transfer my friend's prescription after refusing to fill it. Cattiness like this, I just haven't heard of it. My friend is ASD, so she makes social mistakes, which I understand can create misunderstandings. This kind of hostile heartlessness is a poor way of dealing with it. read more

I had appointment scheduled today for the varicella vaccine and had the confirmation number for this apt. But that Indian asian girl , i couldn't see her name because she was hiding her name batch, she was one of the pharmacy tech, was very rude and unprofessional. She told me that i didn't have apt and i was not on her list. I showed her the confirmation number and the confirmation email and text that i received regarding this apt, but she didn't even want to look at it and kept saying 'i don't know' in very rude way. I asked her what should i do and if i wait how long is the wait , she still said ' i don't know'. I think they need to hire more professional employees in pharmacy who knows how to answer the customer and if they don't know the answer, instead of yelling at the customer , to get the answer from her supervisor. Very bad experience. Not going to this location anymore. read more

We shop here daily as both my husband and I are disabled . Easy access, clean store and aisle are clear. The pharmacist knows who you are by name and answers all questions patiently. Even when the store is crowded with school kids everything is still clean and tidy. We are always greeted by the cashier on the way in and at the register. It makes us feel like valued customers. I wish more stores had such great management. read more

I have been with Walgreens since I was a kid, and not partial to anyone else, really. The Pharmacists are awesome. They really get to know you and care. Unless you're a complainer and just an angry person in general. The employees are a mixture of awesomeness and...well, stupidity. There is a lady in cosmetics that ranks in the awesome category and only one lady up front as well. The youngsters that are there....well...judge for yourself. Somedays, completely inept. Other days, alright. Still, the store is clean and organized and you're always greeted. read more

I absolutely love the manager that works in the cosmetics department. Every time I go she is always so friendly and helpful. She even helped me color match a new foundation I wanted to try. She always keeps coupons for items you purchase, without you even asking for them. She gives free samples as well. On my last trip she gave me a free sample of a new tooth paste. I wish I knew her name! She is there in cosmetics almost every time I go. read more

I have personally had issues with the pharmacy personnel here being rude and high-handed before. There was only one lady that was usually polite and nice. Now, I've had it with them. My roommate is autistic and made a comment, after being told how expensive her medication would be and that her insurance wouldn't cover it, that "capitalism had F***** her over". It wasn't said loudly, it wasn't aimed at the pharmacy tech, she was not abusive or mean, it was just an off-hand comment. Nevertheless, the pharmacist told her she wasn't allowed to cuss, it was 'unprofessional' and to take her prescription elsewhere. This is not only an instance of very poor understanding of other people and their (sometimes special) needs, but it shows an extremely poor attitude on the part of the pharmacist and VERY BAD TRAINING. The customer is not required to be professional, the professional SERVING the customer is required to be professional. I have done customer service and civil service all my life, more than 30 years. As long as the customer is not actively yelling or being abusive towards you directly, you need to be polite and reasonable to them. If you don't want to be in customer service, GET ANOTHER JOB. Walgreens is going to be losing a lot of pharmacy customers if their staff keeps telling people to take their business elsewhere and treats them like garbage. read more

This Walgreen's location, although not in the nicest part of Fresno, actually has some great customer service representatives. My 5 star rating is based on that alone. Despite the type crowd that frequents this location, the workers are always pleasant and really helpful. They're usually always smiling or laughing as well. They're always in close proximity and I never have to go looking for someone to ask a question. The girls that work in the health and beauty section are outstanding. They're always really friendly, and always give me extra discounts with coupons and stuff, even if a product is already on sale. I really appreciate the little things they do to make my shopping experience here better. People don't have to be nice just because, ya know? We desire that and sometimes even expect that when it comes to customer service, but they don't have to do the little extras. They don't really have to engage us in actual genuine conversation, but these workers do! Every time. And like another reviewer mentioned, when customer situations become hostile, the workers and management still remain calm and are just always super helpful! I've witnessed an irate customer here on more than one occasion, yet management is never angry, frustrated, condescendingly calm nor do they walk away or ignore the customer when they've had enough. I stopped in at walgreens on ashlan and Cornelia in Fresno. The checker was very nice and cordial. I was buying beer and he was too young to sell it, so he called a code 21. The young woman that came to "help" him, for one didn't even acknowledge me and appeared obviously annoyed. She went on to tell the checker how much she was annoyed by him and that he needed to grow up. What kind of people are you employing? I felt so bad for him that I apologized to him for shopping there. read more
