Was going to give them a 2 star but I hate setting people's expectations to high. My doctor has to call in 3-4 times then I might get them. You know medication that isn't that important only heart meds. They have an excuse for everything, and want to blame your doctor very quickly. They act arrogant and like they are doing you a favor to get your over priced meds. read more

This isn't the first time I've had issues with this pharmacy. My husband has brain cancer and clearly there isn't a compassionate individual in the building. Sha-lee- duh (spelled phonetically) was rude, impatient and refused to call the insurance for an override on an acid reflux medication. It is sickening that these people are healthcare providers because they clearly have no clue as to what they are doing. I hate that my insurance makes me go to Walgreens. I wish there was a negative star rating. Don't bother calling this place it's a waste of time. After 3 minutes of computerized happy talk, the phone starts to ring, theoretically in the pharmacy. After three more minutes of ringing the Call is disconnected. Walgreens service indeed. After four more attempts( I don't give up easily ) you may finally get through only for someone to give you a snotty excuse about how they are short staffed. Ok. Ever seen the movie It's a Wonderful Life and that great drugstore? This is that drugstore for me. I know, I know, it's a Walgreens for goodness sake. But still, the staff that works here makes it feel like a small town pharmacy for me. The pharm tech helped me reduce my prescription costs when I changed insurance. The Pharmacist gave me a flu shot. When I send my Snapfish pictures to the wrong Walgreens, they call and get it straightened out for me. And yesterday, when I was here, a woman walked up to me, handed me her 3.00 off coupon, said "Merry Christmas" and kept on walking. That's the kind of place it is for me. This Walgreens Pharmacy is always slow and never has their act together. They don't update records or keep current insurance information on file. I've had the same insurance for years...and ask them to update, and they never do. I'm switching to CVS. read more

My brother texted me and relayed that his girlfriend got me something for X-mas. Rather than looking like a total shmuck showing up empty-handed to our family gift exchange I ran to the nearest place for a hail Mary. The end result didn't exactly bring her to tears, but the helpful staff got me out of the sticky situation. This rating is for the pharmacy. Great people. We didn't have insurance for a few months. My husbands medications were very costly. One of the pharm techs found us a coupon that saved us hundreds. So. Nice of them. They are always friendly...even when customers are rude to them. I prefer Walgreens over CVS. They have lots items for convenience . Saves you time instead of having to go into jewel or Mariano's. read more

Great drugstore close to home. I use it mainly for prescriptions and the pharmacy staff is extremely helpful. If a prescription is expired, they will call the doctor, they give flu shots and make reminder calls when my prescriptions need to be renewed. Now if they could just do something about making my insurance having lower co-pays, I would arrange with Yelp for them to get six stars. read more

One positive thing is that it's not CVS, staff is friendly, knowledgable, and extremely willing to help with locating items throughout the store. Pricey, as many Walgreens and CVS' are, but very convenient and a much more pleasant experience than going to a larger more crowded store with crabby, overworked staff. read more
