I stopped at this Walgreens to get a propane tank for a friend. The location on 26th st and Federal makes it very convenient as it is a major intersection. The price for the propane was very competitive to other retailers in the area. Inside the store, it was very nicely lit, clean and organized...not stuff all over the place like some other stores. The lady that works in the mornings early in the morning is one of the rudest cashiers I have ever run across. And one day she took a lollipop that Walgreens is selling and started scratching her head with the stick of the lollipop now really who does this and she is so rude and scratching her head with the stick of a lollipop that somebody's kid is gonna buy after it was in her hair and she did it a lot and she is so rude. It's just really really horrible that someone takes a job from someone else who probably wouldn't be as miserable as she is. read more

They say a defense rots from the inside out. In this case, the closing of the 3* Michelin Skyline Chili across the street must've led to this Walgreens demise. I hadn't been here in years, and after today, I won't be back anytime soon. I had some time to kill, so I popped in to grab a few things I needed, including deodorant. Well, you would've thought I was looking for the Hope diamond. All of the deodorant was locked away and required an employee to access it with a key. Since when is a $5 stick of deodorant the equivalent of a gold bar? And it's not as if there are a ton of employees sauntering around ready to help. I felt like a crime scene detective walking around the store trying to find someone to unlock the case. But wait, there's more! I went to check out and leave. This store doesn't have any self checkout machines (which I don't necessarily mind, I'm not a robot), but there was only one register open, and seven people already in line. No employee came to open another register. In the meantime, the circus must have been in town based on the various lunatics in line, whether playing music out loud on their phones, screaming in an unidentifiable language, or paying and leaving the store but then coming back in and demanding a receipt from the cashier. Finally, after waiting in line for a minimum of 15 (!!!) minutes, an angel of a woman in the cosmetics section opened a register so I could pay and get the hell out. A woman that was in line behind me also sprinted over. She put it best: "I needed to get away from the freak show going on over there!". I don't know who makes the policies around this place, but I fear it may be too late. If you're looking for a stick of deodorant, or maybe just your sanity, don't bother dropping in. Blah! This is a very big Walgreen's, a very busy one, they really don't need any more customers and they seem more than willing to let you know that. The prescription lines are often long with a considerable waiting time. Though they have a drive through pickup that often ends you up in what is little more than a traffic jam. On this occasion I came here looking for some Blue-Emu, not the most common item, but I knew they had it. The problem was where they might have it. One clerk told me they didn't have it, another told me she couldn't help and the pharmacy clerk merely said she had never heard of it. Since I had plenty of time, I combed nearly every aisle and, no thanks to them, did eventually find it but at a price considerably higher than what the same item is priced for at Walmart. My suggestion would be that if you need a prescription filled, go to Walgreen's Specialty Pharmacy located nearby at the southeast corner of NE 26th Street and NE 15th Avenue. They give much more personal service and have a far friendlier attitude. read more

This is the worst pharmacy in our area. Rude and uncaring pharmacist. We have had previous problems there before, but today was the worst customer service experience ever. I came in about 1 hour after it had already been opened the day after Labor Day. I needed a simple prescription, eye drops antibiotics. There was no need to change bottles or count pills. I just needed the pre packaged vial. Very simple! So I get there and it's very quiet; there's no one else in the entire drugstore. The pharmacist ask me for a min, in a rude tone of voice. Then when she came over to the counter, she checked that the prescription was in stock. Then asked me for when I needed it, I said asap because my husband didn't sleep the whole night in pain; he scratched his cornea during the day, Labor Day. We went to the urgent care and got the prescription. But could not find one pharmacy opened, I even drove 40 minutes away to the only opened Walgreens nearby but they didn't have the prescription in stock. So we had to wait until the next morning. She said: "it will take about 30 to 40 minutes because we are "busy" filling out the prescriptions that came in and yesterday we were closed!" I decided to wait. But then I could not sit still waiting, knowing my husband was still in pain and hearing the pharmacists chatting about random things, in no hurry to finish what they were doing or to help me. I asked for my prescription and left. They are the only pharmacy open early, at 7:00 am, but don't bother going there. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU!! I left and drove about 10 minutes north to CVS in the corner of Federal and Commercial. What a difference!! It's a nicer drugstore, it's 24 hours, the pharmacy opens at 8:00 am and the pharmacists are welcoming, friendly and took care of me in 5 minutes!! That's is our go to pharmacy from now on!! I didn't even want to give them 1 star. This is the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Completely disorganized, horribly rude I've been receiving my monthly medication from them for over a year and a half. Suddenly (and without changing insurance plans) my medication went from 10.00 to over 70.00 a month? Zero explanation. Even my insurance company and dr office didn't understand why they suddenly weren't able to sell me the generic brand?? They constantly text me and say there's a problem filling the script with my insurance. I then call them and ask what the problem is? After a bit of back and forth the pharmacist says "your script will be ready shortly" If it wasn't for proximity - I'd go elsewhere. In fact, I don't care about proximity anymore. A 24-hour Walgreens is always a useful place. You never know when you might need some antacids at 3 in the morning because you might have eaten something a little... off. This is a well stocked and well organized store. The clerk who checked me out was pleasant and friendly. read more

Unfortunately, I have to make a complaint about the store managers at this location. On 11/29, I went to this location and they had a small pothole in the entrance. The minute I hit it, my tire started leaking air. I went in and spoke to the manager on duty and she gave me the contact information for the store manager. That Monday I called the store manager and I spoke to another manager name Patrick. He took my information and told me he would call me back. I also sent an email to the store manager that same day and one week later I still do not have a response from anyone at the store. read more

Horrible Walgreens. Went last Tuesday to get my covid test and they said I would have my results between 24-72 hours. It's been 5 days and no results. They have all kinds of excuses of why but when I check the link foe the lab they send it to it says they still haven't received it. It's a joke. I followed cdc guidelines and I quarantined myself for almost a week since my exposure and still no answer from Walgreens. The federal government should penalize them some how this is unacceptable. read more

This is for the pharmacy. They all look overworked, underpaid, like they don't want to be there. I stood there for a while, and I waited patiently, and the pharmacists looked at me (like they were annoyed someone was there), but did not even acknowledge I was there. When I finally got helped, the gentleman I dealt with had absolutely no concept of patient privacy and loudly discussed my medications so even the people in the chairs behind me could hear. I told him that I wish he wouldn't discuss my medications so loudly, but he just gave me a blank stare and kept on speaking. I love the Walgreens brand in general, and shop there all the time. At least the people that aren't in the pharmacy are nice, but I am definitely taking my prescriptions to another location. read more

My favorite Walgreens, featuring a next door attached liquor store, which I'll be discussing. Though small they have a large inventory of booze which is quite surprising...to my delight they have skinny-girl cocktails which can be hard to find. The store is always clean and stocked nice. They have a nice clearance section, where you'll find some great deals ; prices are right on. BTW You do have to enter through a separate door to get in. No entry from the main Walgreens. I like to come here to stock up for the weekly essentials:) and lastly great customer service. I think to go to the big box liquor stores are fun but it's nice to pop in this location, without the overwhelming feeling of finding one thing. read more

I always knew that this store is great with COSTOMER SERVICE ,but today was the highlight for me .I had to spend close to 2 hours !!! in the Pharmacy Department due a Copay Issue with my Health Insurance .RICHARD was outstanding and consistent with his willing to help .I got involve few others In the Pharmacy to deal with the finance copay of my medications .All were extremely patient and tried their best from their end .Finally I left after all was corrected not before having Energy drink ....I needed it Thank you !!! -------------------------------------------------------- Today 1/12/2017 was at the store .... For a Walgreens, the customer service is just not that great; but, it IS open 24 hours. That makes my life a heck of a lot easier because I don't have to worry about getting sick before 9pm or having to make certain that allergies kick in after 9am. I wish that the customer service was better and that there was more to Walgreens. As is, though, it is workable. It is somewhat awkward to get into this location, so be careful or you will wind up passing by it several times. read more

Bad bad unfriendly service. I came in to ask for an INTERNATIONAL Prepaid Visa card and the cashier gave me one that I could only use in the U.S. I did not find out until I opened it at home. I came back to the store and spoke to "the Manager" Latoshia and she was extremely rude saying they can't give me the money back or exchange it. I have no ise for the cars here and they made the mistake. She said she didnt know what the cashier told me because she was out to lunch and couldnt ask her. The cashiers for the most part are nice but the management doesn't care. I took the last bottled water 24 pack and found out it was leaking quite a bit as I was putting it in the car. The manager would not let me exchange it for the next cheapest bottled water, which was a $1 more since there were no more left of the less expensive brand. I wanted the less expensive water. I have had way too many issue with this store to want to even bother with them again. read more

I unfortunately have to give a star I've delt with them for a year specifically asked for help with Debra so called "Mgr." She is extremely bothered if you say hello ..do you like being f**cked over then please use them! They are inept I've NEVER had to call my Dr office to get my refills I asked please get all my meds at one time they are just stupid...unfiortunatly they are unable to fix it so you can get monthly all at once how stupid is that .... Non professional non trust worthy zero customer. Service why are 10 people dedicated to only fill scripts and you walk in wait 10-15 min just to get a hello and then it's like I'm bothering them to get my meds.. I've asked for a year to get my meds all at once .... apparently ... mgr " Debra" is Way to lazy to give a sh*t a year later I have to go 3 times a month why can't I get all meds at same time I know 2-3 months to get in place NOT A YEAR! this is my last time there.. highly recommend NOT USING THEM! If you want to wait non acknowledged wait for scripts and feel awkward like your a nucince...by all means use them ...they have 1 job ONE! no retail they only fill scripts!! Is there a zero stars? I went to pick up pics. I had ordered on line. There was no one at photo booth so I went to get cashier. She came over and found my pics. (after garbling my name) and said "Move over there!" and walked back to her register. I followed her and she rang up sale. I pointed out that I had discount online. She argued and said not possible. Luckily I had taken pic on my phone of online receipt. She said "I can't do anything about that. Move over." and started helping line that was now forming behind me. Manager arrived and walked me back to photo area. He also said there was no discount. I showed him pic. on the phone. He said they are just a store and can't keep up with the big corporation. He then charged me price on the phone but added tax which had already been added. I said it would have been nice if someone along the way had just said "We're sorry Ma,am. Can you please step over here rather" rather than pushing me around and treating me like the problem. So much for customer service. Never got any kind of apology. read more
