Came in today for a price comparison for gummie multi vitamins vs Sams Club. CVS had better options than Sams with Nature Made Buy 1 Get 1 Free mix and match deal which made the price about even. The halloween candies were Buy 1 Get 1 for $1. Easy access location with deals everywhere and the shelves were full of inventory. This is open 24 hours and has a full service pharmacy. Those were the positives and here are the negatives: A female vagrant took refuge next to the front door and greeted me and then begged for money. The floors were absolutely a disaster with massive stains throughout which made me feel dirty. These two issues put an instant damper on my shopping experience. read more

Not the classiest CVS but had a large cosmetic and hair section with helpful staff. Found the hair curlers that I needed for my mother for $12.99, but the staff said they do not carry the little "Bobby Pins" at all and not sure why. Trying to exit the plaza was tedious and now to Walgreens for the pins that I found and bought. read more

The only thing this CVS has going for it is that it's a very short walk from my place. Other than that, it's pretty much downhill the moment you arrive. Outside the entrance, there are always several unhoused individuals or people struggling with addiction. I feel for them and hope they get the support they need, but CVS should still have security to ensure customers feel safe and comfortable. This isn't rare. It is like that every time I visit. The pharmacy line is another frustration. No matter the time of day, you're often stuck waiting 20+ minutes just to pick up a prescription that's already ready. On top of that, I've received texts saying it's my last day to pick up a prescription, only to be told later they already put it back and then argued with me about why I didn't come sooner. Last day means last day, and that's none of their business. This location seriously needs better staffing and management who prioritize safety and customer service. If it weren't so convenient, I would have stopped coming a long time ago. Rant over. read more

I was in downtown recently and I stopped at this CVS to get some OTC pain medication. The parking lot is big and the inside of the store is pretty easy to get around. Like all CVS stores, you can choose between name brand and their generic CVS brand. Always check the unit price..many times the bottles that look the same size do not carry the same amount. Dont park here at night! I repeat DONT shop here at night. My vehicle was towed from this lot. I am giving a one star review because i shopped for about an hour (yes, i was couponing) and lot management systems inc. decided that i was at a club. I never left CVS and had to go a few blocks away with my cvs bags to pay $180 to get my car out. This is not CVS fault but i feel that they can help this not happen. The signs clearly state if you leave the lot youll be towed. I did NoT leave the lot. By the way the CVS staff can vouch for me and Iyana and Lesly were wonderful and helpful. I am giving one star because i can never shop here again in fear that my car will be towed by this predatory company LMSI. To paraphrase Gertrude Stein, a CVS is a CVS, is a CVS. They're mostly all cookie cutter the same as are all Walgreens. But I have to give some extra credit to this particular CVS Pharmacy. Being located in the Palm Court Pavilion, there is ample parking, the area is clean, and though something of a homeless hangout, seemingly perfectly safe. Indeed, I've found some of the unfortunate and homeless here to be very friendly, nice, polite, and in no way pushy. So, if you have some extra bucks, don't be afraid to help. As for this CVS store itself, this one is large, loaded with goods, spotlessly clean, and with a decent arrangement in their displays. A lot of people have dragged this store in the reviews but hear me out! This location has the largest selection in almost all the categories. Their cosmetic section is on point and so is their feminine care section. I can swap my ulta runs and come here happily finding what I need. Plus, there's always parking. While the customer service may not be he greatest, that's not why I knocked them a star. There's ALWAYS a homeless person blocking the entrance. It's disturbing and honestly uncomfortable, but I don't know if there's much they can do to remedy this tragic reality of downtown Fort Lauderdale. read more

For Dipb. we were here to get a prescription filled for an emergency dental procedure. Instead of getting g on our cruise ship. More bad luck or dentist miss wrote two out of the three prescriptions they were lacking Detail And Even though it was very busy The pharmacist was keeping track of our issues and communicating really well and was so solution oriented. She gave us everything we needed to be effective getting scripts corrected multiple times. We got a hold of the doctor and it all ended well. Her compassion and multitasking were remarkable in what was a stressful environment for us and demanding more environment for her. The rest of the staff were great too. read more

I don't know why this store has gotten so much hate. I actually like this store a lot. They have a good selection and a few things that other CVS' simply don't have. The parking lot is rather large and except for the occasional homeless person that may make you feel nervous, it's actually one of the better stores and they are open 24 hours. On 12/05/23 I bought a pack of Borden sliced cheese from CVS at 1159 NE 26th st in Wilton Manor, FL. The cheese had expired in 10/01/23. Didn't realized they sold me expired merchandise until I felt incredibly ill all day with the commonalities of old dairy products. On 12/06/23 my way to the store to return the cheese I called customer service to let them know what happened, and for the next 10 mins I was on the phone with a rep who asked me all kinds of question regarding the incident. I stated that my intention was only to make sure that perform an inventory and removed expired food from the store, I wasn't interested in the $4.60 the rotten cheese cost me. As I walked into the store I came in contact with "the manager" who after me explaining what happen proceeded to say "we don't sell that cheese here", I walked with her to the fridge to show at least 30 units of the product. Without a glicht in her speech "the manager" said that since I didn't keep a receipt I probably stole the cheese! Coming to grips with the low caliber of employee I was dealing with I left the store and contacted customer service again. The next representative told me she couldn't find my first report because it was never logged in by previous person I spoke with. I told the rep on the phone to forget about it, CVS has lost another client. Good thing there are plenty of Walgreens pharmacies with better products and managers with class and professionalism. This pharmacy is filled with the rudist, incompetent, and unprofessional staff. I have used other CVS pharmacies and have never had such consistently poor service or outcomes. The culture of gross incompetence is rampant at this store. The latest nightmare started 3 weeks ago when I gave myself plenty of time to have an RX transferred from my Massachusetts pharmacy to the Ft. Lauderdale CVS so that I wouldn't be left without refill. For 3 weeks, I made at least 6 calls and received repeated assurances that they would call the other pharmacy and get back to me when the prescription was filled, it never happened!!! I spoke to two different pharmacists, and at least 4 different clerks and each one of them was incompetent, unprofessional, and rude. The last person I spoke with - the only male who works there - actually hung up and said "Don't pull me into your problem", and HE HUNG UP! If CVS is the pharmacy you are forced to use because of insurance, it's a nightmare being trapped in the WORST PHARMACY in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Every single time I have used this pharmacy in the past year there is another issue. When I ask to cancel a order it still arrives, I still get charged, when I go to the store to pick up a order, there's a 15 minute wait in a line of 2 people cause one person it working at the desk. It's not worth the time in my busy working schedule to deal with a incompetent pharmacy anymore. I need to stay healthy and I can't do that if there is constant issues with my medication getting to me in a timely manner or if I'm being constantly overcharged. This past time, the woman told me she couldn't cancel the Shipt order to which I told her I know that's untrue cause I spoke with Shipt and totally caught her in a lie to where she agreed with me that yes she could. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this CVS location. Right from the start, when I asked Sherline a question, she didn't stop to answer and just kept walking away while talking over her shoulder. At the checkout, Bonita was rude and unprofessional. She told me to move aside because the system was down, without a greeting or polite explanation. The situation escalated at the checkout with Bonita, whose unmasked hostility further marred the store's service. When informed of a system issue at the checkout, her demeanor was not just unapologetic but confrontational, instructing me to move aside without the basic civility of a greeting. When I asked for Sherline's name to report the service, she became confrontational and refused to provide her name or service. I then asked for a manager, and Dionte came forward, but he was indifferent and unhelpful. He didn't know how to address the situation and wouldn't give me Sherline's name. After a further wait, I spoke with another manager who made excuses and showed little concern for the situation. The lack of professionalism from the staff, right up to the management, was appalling. This experience has convinced me never to use this CVS location again, and I would advise others to avoid it as well. The customer service here was the worst I've encountered. read more

This is the #1 worst CVS pharmacy of all I have been to. A WEEK ago my Dr. sent in a prescription. No text to say it was ready. After a day I contacted my Dr., who called it into Publix, who filled it immediately. Today, a week later, the 2nd part of the prescription wasn't filled because CVS still had it as filled & there was one more day before it could get filled again. Gratefully, Publix pharmacist overrode the wait & filled my much needed script. I went to this location to find out the prescriptions were still sitting there. I changed to Publix Pharmacy. Today, my husband had major surgery and the doctor sent his major pain and other prescriptions to CVS. Again, CVS said they don't have anything from the doctor. It became necessary for Cleveland Clinic to call them twice to get them to admit they had received 3 or of 4 prescriptions and the last one, 'oh they just didn't have that one'. They're okay. Nothing more. They have a huge parking lot, which is helpful and the workers seem to want to be helpful. But it's CVS. I've never found their prices to be anything special. In fact, I can think of several places where the same items are priced considerably lower, so what's the point? I only come here on occasion because it's within walking distance of my office. Horrible service. They have 5 people working, 4 filling prescriptions and 1 helping customers. Has anyone heard of customer service or better yet, priorities to not filling the prescriptions in the queue but taking care of sick customers who desperately need their medication. I had to return to my doctor to get a script because the pharmacist had zero interest in helping me by calling my doctor. After I returned with the script the technician so nicely said that it would be a 30 minute wait , after I had spent 20 minutes having to get my script on my own. Ridiculous. Poorly ran. I have watched people walk out crying, the pharmacy refills the wrong prescriptions, and your prescription is NEVER ready when promised. Do yourself a favor and save the stress and headache and go to another pharmacy. Pharmacists have ONE job which is to ensure they provide the right prescription. Instead, they asked me if I could come back in 2 hours (3 pm) when the prescription was called in at 8 am. I recently moved and needed to change pharmacies. At this point it has been 3 Visits and each time has been great. The staff is very friendly, very knowledgeable, and overall extremely helpful.
