This Walgreens has to have the most rude people working there then I've ever experienced at any drugstore in my entire 36 years. I called to do a transfer on some of my scripts and I waited for four hours and that's OK. It's totally fine to be understaffed but it's not OK. It's to yell at me and tell me that it's just you and another guy. Then when I go to ask him, how did the transfer process works for my antidepressants my OB/GYN put me on for my pregnancy. He seems very annoyed to answer these questions. Sorry I have questions. I've never done a transfer before I just moved out west and it wouldn't make sense to drive one hour away to pick this script up. While he's being super rude, I asked to speak to his manager, and then he proceeded to tell me that I'm being very complicated and very difficult yelling at me and then hanging up on me. I called back because I just wanted my question answered and because they have caller ID nobody answered my call. This makes me very sad because if they're treating pregnant women on antidepressants like this yelling calling them difficult calling them complicated just because I had a simple question I'm difficult. No it's difficult is that he has to work with one other guy and I should never know that information. He came back from lunch angry but it's unacceptable to take it out on patrons especially patrons on medication's. They just simply need a few questions answered. Good luck getting an employee's name. Good luck getting transferred to a supervisor or a manager, but definitely be prepared to get yelled at by a pharmacist. This is definitely a leadership problem. Whoever is managing this location has no clue how to manage. The pharmacist is now yelling at patrons because they are super stressed out because their manager doesn't want to hire more pharmacist. And it's definitely a leadership problem when you asked to speak to a manager and they feel comfortable enough to yell at you call you names and hang up on you. Absolutely worst service from any pharmacy I've dealt with. My doctor has called in my prescriptions and my husbands. We go to pick up a day later or two days later and they lately have been telling us it's not ready or filled.so we have to call and TELL them to fill our scripts. Today I go and the women working the window was so rude and just walked away when she said she couldn't help me with something. Horrible attitude and customer service. Most of the Walgreens in a 15-mile radius of this location have terrible reviews because as most people know Walgreens sucks. They are a lousy company with nothing but incompetence and laziness and absolutely zero customer service. That being said my last attempt was to try this location in Plantation, before I switch to another pharmacy which I am now doing. Well, this location sucks too and is no different than the rest. My very first day using them, and it was nothing but incompetence and ignorance. I switched to this ridiculous location a month ago and almost immediately the buffoons showed prescription out and delayed. How a pharmacy knows a month before refilling a prescription that they are already out and delayed is beyond me. That's like knowing you're going to be incompetent ahead of time. Then on fill day their useless automated system showed delayed never verified by doc office, even know it was called in weeks ago. Once that was resolved the buffoons went back to saying delayed again. This is the worst pharmacy doing business in America today. I would recommend NEVER using Walgreens. Maybe if they lose enough customers they will start to care. They not only lost my business in pharmacy, i will never use one of their stores again. It's not like avoiding shopping there will be difficult, their prices are never good anyway. I only use it when I need something and they are the only stores close by. This is literally the worst company ive ever seen, from their useless website that does nothing to their completely useless mobile ap to their nonexistent customer service to their dysfunctional stores I'm surprised they are not out of business yet already. I sat their for 1 hour and 30 minutes waiting for my prescription to be filled. It was pretty much empty, no one there and the phone kept ringing non stop. I asked the primary technician if the sound of the phone constantly ringing bothered her? She said: What are you gonna do? I said: You could do you job and answer it? She said: Yes, but that would mean that I would have to give a fuck We are in the middle of a pandemic and these are the people in charge of getting the medication we need. She was the primary technician too. That is scary that our health needs are dependent on people like this. read more

The only one who was nice was the blonde lady who actually gave me my shot. 5 people working. No one greeted me. No one said thank you. First issue is both pharmacists we dealt with were very rude to us. Second of all, we had a prescription that included 60 pills, but only 59 were in the bottle. I hope management checks the cameras because their pharmacist is stealing a controlled substance. It's only one pill but when they do this to every other customer then it will be a very serious crime. I will be alerting Walgreens management and they can investigate their staff, check the cameras and see they are stealing from their customers. I really don't like leaving negative reviews, but I was on hold for 15 minutes with the pharmacy, stayed on hold when I walked into the store... only to see there was no line. I mentioned it to the guy working there and not only did he not answer my question about it/apologize in any way, his tone got rude after that. I wish I'd gotten his name. I've worked customer service and this is not how you treat people. If you forgot I was on the line, okay, people make mistakes, but maybe apologize instead of being rude. I had Liz Leyba and I apologize for the incorrect spelling but she was amazing, professional and polite and efficient all while dealing with a rude and inpatient customer. Walgreens marketing emails are horrendous. If you want to stop receiving emails you must block Walgreen emails because their systems is unhelpful and cumbersome. While many marketers allow you to simply unsubscribe from mailing list Walgreen forces you manage your subscription. However, if you do not have an account to manage your subscription, then you must create one to stop receiving emails. This is an unsavory and near deceitful way to get peoples information and create accounts. If you have no interest in creating an account you have no choice but to complete block Walgreens as a sender. I sincerely hope they correct this issue. read more

I went to this location a week ago to get my second COVID-19 booster. For people who are immunocompromised, the CDC guidelines indicate three shots in the initial series and then two boosters, for a total of five shots. I was refused the fifth vaccination even though I explained the CDC guidelines. I dealt with a young blonde white lady, not sure if she was a pharmacist or a pharmacy technician. She refused to look up the CDC guidelines and basically said I was lying. I did call the national customer service number and filled a complaint but have no response back yet. Unfortunately it also looks like nobody monitors this forum from Walgreens either. I just wonder how many others were turned away because their pharmacy staff refused to look up the CDC recommendations and their own vaccination policy. read more

This pharmacy is technically "24 hours" but that refers to the store hours only. I haven't had any issues filling prescriptions here with rude or unhelpful staff-I've always had a pleasant experience. I always find that walking up to the counter rather than attempting to use the drive in is always more useful though, in case you run into an issue (unless you're just picking up). Where I have run into an issue is that the pharmacy HOURS are not exactly convenient especially considering this location is right near Broward General, and the population near this area is a lot of young professionals. The pharmacy only being open 9-9 doesn't work for a lot of people, especially those who work shifts. I needed something urgently and couldn't get it until 9am the next day. Meanwhile I found out from a friend that the CVS 3 blocks away has a 24 hour PHARMACIST. Didn't know that. I like the store and the staff here, and for popping in and out for random necessities it works well for me but for urgently needed prescriptions I would drive a few blocks down just in case. read more

I had 30 pills missing from my prescription (out of 90) last year, and when I called the Pharmacist (immediately) to report this, she all but stated I was lying, they were counted 2X & initialed 2X (not so). I feel dirty whenever I walk into this Walgreens. Not because I'm purchasing suggestive items either, but because the employees make me feel this way. There is one female black woman that wears glasses and I believe is of Haitian descent and a Spanish woman on cosmetics that works there. They're the only bright spots of the entire store. I've been doing business there for close to 20 years and she's the most unprofessional, rude Walgreen's employee I've ever experienced. She could care less that I was transferring my business to CVS based on her horrible customer service skill set. How about she doesn't know the name and/or contract for her district manager. AVOID this Walgreens Pharmacy location at all cost. This place has gone to hell in a hand-basket. More specifically, the pharmacist, CARRIE, has gotten to the point that she could care less about the Customer or their time or their pharmaceutical needs (they have been out of part 2 of my Shingles shot for so long that I'm pretty darn sure the window has expired in which I was required to get part 2). Back to the pharmacist, Carrie - it is now all about her/her needs; she's become short tempered, flippant, incompetent and more (BTW, she didn't used to be this way, but changes started about a year ago, so it's obviously to me she's gone/going through something in her personal life which is now that is affecting her work/us . My advice to Carrie - get some therapy, and I mean this genuinely; we customers can only give you so much time to deal with your personal problems. My advice to all of you customers out there - look elsewhere for a competent/reliable pharmacy because unfortunately, Carrie/pharmacist does not have YOUR best interests at heart right now. read more

I used to go to CVS but my insurance changed and Walgreens is now where I need to get my medicine. I had never been to Walgreens before. The store was clean and things where easy to find. The staff at the pharmacy were very friendly and professional. They got my medicine ready quickly and I was in and out within 15 minutes. read more

I cannot believe the horrible serves I have received at the Walgreens pharmacy on '1201 S Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, FL' I have been filling my prescription medication for my blood pressure there for over a year, I cannot miss one day of my medication or I will end up in the hospital with is something my doctors is always reminding me of. TO NEVER MISS A SINGLE DAY!! So I called the pharmacy asking them to give me 2 of the pills until I get paid on Wednesday so I could pay for the rest of my refill, which any pharmacy would do because it is a life threatening condition that can cause a heart attack if you don't take your medication. The pharmacist gave me such an attitude when I called also saying "Well I guess I can give you one until then" saying it in such a degrading way, as if she didn't care that missing one day can cause me to end up in the hospital. So I went to Kmart to change my prescription there when I got there the pharmacist gladly gave me another two days worth so I would have no worries about my medication, when he called the Walgreens to transfer my prescription to their pharmacy at Kmart she told him " I will not release her prescription until she comes back and pays for that one pill" so now not only could I refill my prescription at the Kmart that my son decided to pay for I have to go back to the Walgreens just to pay for one little pill that can't be more then 50 cents then go back to the Kmart... read more

I like this Walgreens because it's open 24 hours. I've been here a few times and everyone is always helpful and pleasant. Do they have my backup lipstick? Yes! Fingernail polish? Yes! Plus the staff here is much nicer than at any other Walgreens. Gotta love it! read more
