I just used this Walgreens to fill a prescription. I made sure they had all of my contact information, especially a correct phone number. I used the drive thru to pick up my order at the time I was told it would be ready. After waiting 15 minutes in the drive-thru, I was told that my prescription wasn't in stock and to come back tomorrow. I let them know that I was frustrated that I did not receive a phone call about this to save me the trip over there. When I went back the next evening I went back to get it, they told me that it wouldn't be in til the next day. I was livid. This was twice it had been delayed, and twice that I did not receive a phone call. They assured me that they would have it by 5pm the following day and that I would get a call to let me know exactly when it arrived. It did get there the next evening, but I never got a phone call. Just disgraceful. What if this has been life-saving medication? I will never use them again. I do not usually post reviews good or bad, but this was just ridiculous. read more

The worst run pharmacy I have ever experienced. I waited in line outside for 15 minutes without any movement, so I came inside. Now they are unable to find my prescriptions. They admitted that they have been filled, so, they literally just lost them. I've been here an hour now, for prescriptions that were "ready." Will never be back. read more

I work for a tech concierge company. I come here maybe once a month to pick up prescriptions for a client. I had an unauthorized charge on my corporate card. I had a feeling it was pertaining to the client I service. I came to this location personally, gave a date and time to a manager of the transaction with him to return stating nothing was on file. I left and started thinking and I realized I gave him the date of when the transaction was finalized, not when the transaction was made. I called hating the fact I was going to be "that" person but I have certain protocols to follow with my job and had to follow through. I got transferred to a manager named Joseph, explained my dilemma, and after saying nothing was showing up for the EXACT time I gave him, he stated to hang on while he still read the the transactions for that day, he asked some more questions and was able to find the transaction, explain that the card somehow got integrated on their file, and used my company card and her card. I asked if I could obtain the receipt by either email or in person. He said in person but gave me his name, what time he was working until. He asked for a name and I gave him my client's and my personal. He followed through, touch base on my information beautifully and professionally. I've been in customer service my whole work force career and it's a beast. I stated facts, he followed through with facts, and my issue got resolved. Not very common in everyday chain retail stores that deal with an eclectic variety of personalities, and I'm appreciative this got handled in a way that was probably not a top priority for the daily store's procedures, however that didn't stop Joseph for following through to a customer who seriously had an issue that needed to be resolve. Walgreens has been officially fired...Every location I've been in SUCKS...the wait time is ridiculous...service sucks all the way around..Bet if you're really sick and need your meds you'll die in line waiting. Sat in drive through waiting for 25 minutes with only one person in front of me. Got tired of that and went inside where I met the most incompetent cashier I have ever met. Ultimately spent 45 minutes in this sad, sad place only to walk out without my prescription because they don't know how to use their system and find the script my doctor sent. Will be switching to CVS. read more

This is my "go to" drugstore. It's always clean and the service is usually pretty good especially in the pharmacy.

Wow, super impressed. Generally when I think of a Walgreens, or any other drug store for that matter, I think of in/out, get your stuff, done. I never really expect over the top customer service. I was pleasantly surprised by this location. The senior beauty advisor (I forgot her name :(.....) was incredibly helpful. I was just browsing on my own and she came over and offered some good advice and shared helpful information about the newer skincare products. It was a Sephora level experience. read more

I walked to this store today from my hotel as I broke my glasses and needed a repair kit. When I purchased it, I explained to the cashier that I would need someone to actually fix my glasses because once I take them off I can't see anything. She told me to go over to the photo section and see Derrick. He was the nicest person I met today. I explained my predicament and he stopped what he was doing to fix my glasses. He patiently got those darn little screws and put the arm back on so I could see again. I will be forever grateful that Derrick was working today. I don't know when I'll be back in this location, but I am glad it was only a couple of blocks from my hotel today. read more

This Walgreens on Belt Line in Addison is our favorite place to shop. We prefer to use this location because it has the eVgo Freedom Station chargers for electric car. We bought a Nissan Leaf a week ago, and absolutely love it AND the Walgreens. We initially went to the store because of the electric charging station. Our charges generally take about 20 to 25 minutes, which gives us time to shop. We started buying bread, milk and bits and bobs. Today we hit the Walgreens for more milk and cosmetics. The staff, especially the cashiers, are SOOOOOOO friendly and down right NICE!!! There is one cashing who always jokes with me ("back for more of our electricity????") and we laugh and kid with each other. Other drug stores are no where near was friendly. Finally, just a big THANKS to Walgreens for installing eVgo charging stations at their stores. Almost without fail, we'll go shop for bits and pieces while charging our car. If you can avoid going to this Walgreen's do it! Slowest service ever. No matter what day or what time I go it takes no less than 15 minutes to get through the drive thru. If you go inside the line for the pharmacy is down the aisle. Minimum 15 minute wait here too. The pharmacists are standoffish and slow to help customers. It's infuriating. I called this store around 1:45 pm on a weekday to request that a prescription from another Walgreen's be transferred to this location. I dialed through the automated system to talk with a pharmacy staff member. Luckily, I was at work and I have a headset so I could do other work activities while on hold. When someone at the pharmacy finally picked up the phone and took me off hold, I looked down at my office phone and I had been on hold for 22 minutes. I can't imagine that 2 pm is a peak time for the pharmacy, so a 20-minute hold time is just crazy. There was no apology for the length of time I was on hold for. I am switching my prescriptions to Express Scripts and CVS. read more

Bought photo cards here. Online order process showed borderless printing but when I picked up the cards they had a white border around the edges. Totally changed the look of the card. I pointed out to the photo person that online shows no border and he was silent. Not a single word. read more

This is the worst pharmacy! I have been a customer for the past 6 months because it is right around the corner from my office. Every time I drop something off it takes several days, one time almost 2 weeks. They finally let me know when my prescription is ready, sometimes days later than it was actually ready and I go to pick it up and it isn't actually ready. One of my prescriptions does have certain requirements for pick up; which I know of, but they don't tell you that in advance. They have made it unbelievable difficult to get my prescription every 30 days when I need it, so this past month I asked them what exact date I needed to request a new refill so that my prescription didn't expire. Well, they told me to come back 1 day too late and I am SOL until I can get my doctors office to send me a new valid prescription. The woman denied this and felt no remorse, just looked at me and said sorry we can't help you. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced! DO NOT GO HERE!! I will be taking my business to CVS just because of this one Walgreens location. read more

Went to this walgreens to buy some roses for my mother, but the only fresh ones had a ripped plastic wrap. I asked the cashier for help and he referred me to the assistant manager who was just absolutely rude and disrespectful. He told me to tape it and there was nothing else he could do. I got Thrush from using a eCig so I went to the Dr. and he wrote me out a prescription for generic Diflucan which is Fluconazole. I hadn'tused a Walgreen's in years but was going by one and stopped to get the Fluconazole filled. 5 pills there were over 50.00. I questioned them about this a Diflucan costs that much and I was getting a generic filled. The employee said they could set me up on a Walgreens prescription discount but it would cost 20.00 which is the same amount I would save but I could use it for a year for the savings. I really didn't understand why it was so high but as I didn't have insurance I said ok. When I left there I contacted Walmart and asked what the price of the very same prescription was and was told it was only $16.00 for the 5 pills. I contacted Walgreens about this and have been told by their corporate as well as the store manager that they don't have any control over the price of prescriptions. Walgreens is sticking it to everyone that uses cash pay and over charges excessively. I will never, ever use any Walgreen's ever again. I see no reason to use a company that costs me almost 4 times the amount that other companies charge. Why would anyone willingly shop at this store? 03/16/2013 read more
