This Walgreens pharmacy has always been able to fill my prescriptions for me quickly and I have never had a problem with them. I have usually used the Walgreens on Knott and ball but they're service has gotten so terrible that I will be transferring my medications here. During the last year my prescriptions have not been getting filled on time. I take medications that you can't stop taking without serious side effects. Walgreens was constantly blaming either my Doctor or Insurance company for Walgreens inefficiency. Very slow pharmacy processing, and backlogged. One time waited over 30 min on a Sunday for flu shot when we already had appt, and couple times in the afternoon waited at pharmacy pick up order line and drive thru, over 20 min. At times, looks like they give preference to drive through. Also pricing is on high end. Would recommend checking out pricing at GoodRx first! read more

If I can give zero, I would definitely do. My FedEx package was mislabeled with wrong house number and instead of reaching my home, I have to pick it up at Walgreens per instructions. I went there to pick up and was informed they can't release it because it does not reflect my address even if routing # and my full name matches. I said, I was instructed to come here, I requested Rita if she can call FedEx. She blatantly refused and quickly replied with "that's FedEx policy" so I called FedEx myself and was informed "it is Walgreen's policy". I usually go to a rite aid or the CVS closer to my house, but i wanted to go to this Walgreens because of their awesome deal on printing photos. I had a coupon that if you buy at least 50 prints, each one would be 10 cents! I went to Alaska recently so i wanted to print out all the pictures and give them to people. There were 2 photo machines so that was good because there was a person at one of them. So i had my Compact Flash and i just slid that into the card reader and boom. I had to just press one button and my pictures were uploaded. It's touch screen so you just go through the pictures and select how many you want. When i was finished with that i wanted to know where i could put in the coupon code so i could save $$. The employee was really nice and helpful so i give a thumbs up for customer service. The photos were going to be ready in about 3 hours which was fine because i had about 300 photos. It was about $40 but with that coupon it was $30. what a deal! read more

I had a prescription and needed to wait more than a week because they were not in stock. However when I came back a week later, they told me they did the wrong prescription. So after calling two more Walgreens near by they directed me to try CVS pharmacy..... 10 minutes before they closed. I've been getting the same prescription for over two years and I never had an issue. Maybe because it's the holiday season and they are understaffed but make sure to call and confirm they have your prescription. read more

Pretty good location( on a corner...but aren't most of them haha). It's never too busy and I've personally always been able to get a spot up front. Everything pretty easy to locate and if I have a list or know what I'm getting then a stop doesn't usually take more than 10 minutes max. Once in awhile they may be short a person and only have one checkout open but even then, it's still quick. I've never used their pharmacy though. I've needed to ask them questions on cold medications on the aisle and they happily assisted me, I however have never needed any prescriptions filled by them. They also seem very good at stocking shelves as I have always gotten everything I've needed and never have had to ask if they possibly had something in the back or little things like that. read more

I only love their drive up pharmacy. It's fast and easy, and the people are friendly and helpful. I only gave 3 stars because of this one lady working inside who was very rude. Long story short, she gave me wrong change and I complained. She was very rude handling the situation. She called the manager for help. In the end, I was right and she was wrong. The manager was also rude. None of them apologized even after the stupid rude lady made it sound that I was the stupid one in front of other customers in the line who were waiting. I could've made a scene but didnt especially because I have my kids with me. But I showed them to stand up for yourself especially when you're not in the wrong and not to be rude to others (especially when you are in the wrong) and to teach them how important it is to admit you're wrong and apologized. Not surprised this Walgreens only got 3 stars.. I loved the fact that this Walgreens is SUPER close to our new place.. BUT! Not stoked on one particular person.. I want to say he's the manager or something cause he always wears a collared Walgreens shirt.. ANYWAYS! And I don't care if he sees this, cause he needs to know he doesn't know how to do his job.. He basically tried to accuse me of "coupon fraudulence" IN FRONT of a bunch of other customers (because the line began to grow because he didn't understand, and just kept repeating shit..) I kept asking him to explain and he would repeat "it's the same coupon", when I've been couponing for 2yrs, I know all the rules n regulations, and CLEARLY the coupons had different amounts and different fuckin barcodes on them. Same brand product, TOTALLY different info.. Learn to fuckin read and comprehend what you're reading.. LEARN TO DO YOUR JOB! And don't fuckin embarrass me when YOU'RE in the wrong. After that whole debacle, I just wanted to get the fuck out of there cause he pissed me off.. He didn't even bag my stuff and just looked at me like I was much lower than him. I went there Sunday afternoon. The most rudest unprofessional pharmacy staff I have ever came across. Started out waiting a good 10 minutes to drop off this prescription. Drive thru window said they would fill but going to Lunch in 10 minutes and come back. I was taking a senior citizen to get these filled as I just picked her up from urgent care. We returned to find 1 of 4 was there. There was a mix up and 3 were sent to Walmart in Brea. I asked that they call urgent care facility as my friend in a lot of pain and unable to walk through Walmart. Pharmacy tech (male) very rude and refused any assistance. I called urgent care and they agreed to transfer correct location. Now female at drive up start yelling at me that she had other customers and too busy. Once new prec came thru she said come back again in 30 min. We did but I have never received such bad service and will NEVER even shop at Walgreens again. This pharmacy is always hard to deal with. Either the prescription is out of stock or they are having computer or phone trouble. I would highly recommend driving down the road to CVS. I practically live right next to walgreens and I usually come here for my prescriptions from the doctors or to get a quick snack. The prices here are phenomenal and the workers are nice. They are spread out at different locations to utilize their efficiency and immediately come over to the check out counter when they see you. I have my choice to go to either CVS or Walgreens. I always choose Walgreens. They have more to offer and are always in stocked. When I have time, I like looking around too. They always seem to have stuff you wouldn't normally find anywhere else. The pharmacy is super helpful! I am one of many who don't have any benefits, so when something comes up, I come here and tell the pharmacy what I need...they stir me in the right direction and like a cat, I am back on my feet! =) read more

I called because I was trying to download pics from my phone through their app to be picked up there. Made 3 attempts - something wrong with their app which needs to be fixed. You know how important "first impressions" are. Well, my first impression was not a good one. The person who answered has a lot to be desired. Worst pharmacy experience ever! Waited over an hour for a product they literally had to take off the shelf...no counting or repackaging needed. Then it took another 30 minutes for the pharmacist to figure out how the product worked during my consult. In the meantime, several angry customers loudly voiced their dissatisfaction with the pharmacy service. They have such a huge makeup section and I love it!!!! plus I came in and they were having a buy one get one half off sale on most cosmetics. I got special edition Kate Moss lipsticks for 3 dollars & some other off brand ones (that were amazing) for a dollar. The first employee I came across was super friendly and she even made some suggestions. This is my go-to pharmacy. The staff is caring and goes above and beyond for us all the time. They help resolve any delays in dr refill requests, insurance coverage problems and they fully explain what is going on. They know us by name and it is like the way I would imagine an old fashioned neighborhood pharmacy was back in the day. I have other pharmacies closer to my house but I am loyal to this Walgreens pharmacy because of their outstanding staff and pharmacists. I used to go to Rite Aid and always had to wait or be disappointed when it was not ready on time. We are in good hands at this location and the staff inside the store is also very nice and helpful. read more

I am so frustrated with this pharmacy. I have prescribed medicine for patients at this pharmacy multiple times due to patient convenience but it has been a massive headache and beyond it, it is a huge liability. In the most recent incidence, i authorized beta blocker for a patient three days ago and then received phone call from patient that this pharmacy didn't have the most generic and commonly used medicine. Patient found this out when she gets to the pharmacy for pickup. This issue was known to the pharmacy from the day I placed the refill; if you don't have a medicine... policy dictates that you contact the doctor and/or patient so an alternate can be prescribed without having a drop in dosage for patients. This type of negligence places all liability on the doctor and none on the careless pharmacist. Also even if I have given enough refills for a regular medicine, this pharmacy seems to not record that in their system and patients have to contact doctor again and again every month. This pharmacy department needs a better manager than current manager Louis. I have read enough reviews of frustrating customers here to make that suggestion not to mention my own frustrations and their lack of patient health concerns. Here onwards, I would be recommending other pharmacy over this one for my patients and for myself ( I live a mile from location... rather drive than deal with extreme incompetency). read more

This local pharmacy was always messing up my prescriptions. I do have several, but this is there job. It isn't like soda, or other products. The prescriptions are important to your health. So I changed to online. Now they can't keep the auto refills straight and keep screwing up the due dates. this was my nightmare with cvs. thank god for walgreens and their professional staff. cvs review as follows: i'm giving the pharmacy here a one star review, the store it self deserves a 5 star. i've been a customer here for three years. every transaction is with a attitude with the exception of the older male pharmist who is the best. yesterday i had a friend drop off a prescription for me. just drop it off. the woman who helped my friend, felt it was his business to reveal the cost of my medications, which is costly. she acting employee of cvs violated the hipa law (health information protection act) federal law!!!! needless to say, this caused a lot of problems. i went in demanding the actual hard copy of my rx, and guess what now where to be found. i then asked for the store manager of cvs for assistance. such a nice lady, wish i got her name. she took charge and found my rx. i then demanded all rxs to be transferred to walgreens. the best decision ever. yes it's a a little farther, but the courtesy extended was overwhelming. ended up my rx is cheaper and i got brand rather than generic. do yourself a favor and go directly to walgreens located on ball and moody. read more
