Everyone of the staff at the W Davis Pharmacy is courteous and goes the extra mile all the time. I have been using this pharmacy for over ten years and by now, with my wife's illness, it seems like I'm there almost everyday. It's not ideal to have to be on a first name basis with your drugstore's staff, but since occasionally life's circumstances, dictate it, The familiarity and courteousness helps make some tough days slightly more bearable. I chose this Walgreens pharmacy purely due to location convenience but after picking up my prescription the last year I can honestly say I've never witnessed such abhorrent disregard for human life towards people just trying to pick up medication to keep themselves healthy or alive and would rather drive an hour + to have mediocre service anywhere else than deal with what these rude sadistic pharmacists have put myself and others through. They have made multiple mistakes shorting my medication, withholding medication due to their own system errors while blaming customers, and withholding important information regarding controlled substances that has caused me to go weeks without my medication on multiple occasions providing 0 updates or additional information on how to go about solving the issue. If you value you or your families health please go anywhere else. Shoutout to Mr. Long. Healthcare is obviously not your forte and I recommend you find a different career before your negligence gets someone hurt or worse. read more

Always check your prescription before leaving the pharmacy to insure you have not been shorted medication. This location does not take responsibility for *their* mistake when shorting medication, especially when you've been taking the same meds for 10+ years and have never had an issue before. If you've been shorted - you can contact: Texas State Board of Pharmacy with a formal complaint as well as the DEA by filling out Form 106. 23810 license number I was given over the phone by a pharmacy member after informing them it was to be made available to the public per TSBP. read more

Walgreens on College Park loses prescriptions regularly cannot keep up with the amount of business they have. They're slow as all get out. They need adults not kids work in the place or train them better. I absolutely hate the location, but it is closest to my house. They need better management better organization. read more

I went in for passport photos and had a terrible experience. Someone from the front cashier called for assistance and a lady came up. She was pretty rude and definitely seemed like I was bothering her. She quickly took my photo and printed it before I could even look at them. The quality was TERRIBLE. There was a green hue around my mouth and she cropped them terribly. I didn't know you could retake them or get a refund and after her demeanor, I just wanted to leave. I went to another location and re-took them and was given a refund after the cashier saw how atrocious the original photos came out. The name on my receipt was Amber. DONT RECOMMEND. read more

Yesterday (6-14-2023) my wife dropped off a prescription written after my surgery that morning. She was told it would be 2 hours. Not a problem, she went back in 4 hours and was told they hadn't filled it yet. The tech said "there are 80 (yes, she said 80). prescriptions sitting there and none of them have been filled." The pharmacist was standing right there and made no comment. Disgusting. Are they trying to beat CVS out of cellar position. And don't try to escape responsibility by saying "we were very busy." The pharmacist at the very least should have tried to acknowledge the problem and not the tech. read more

This is the worst Walgreens in existence. We made appointments to get a flu shot. Arrived early with paperwork filled out. Had to wait in a long line. Not enough staff to handle customers. Finally got to see a person and accept our paperwork. Then we watched as a parade of people came in after us without paperwork or appointments and go ahead of us and get their flu shots as we still waited. After making it known known to the staff that we were still waiting even though we had appointments, they continued to all others ahead of us. 45 minutes after our appointment, we were finally given the flu shot. Was it because we were older and had Medicare and not private insurance? Maybe Medicare doesn't pay as much? May be the staff are a bunch of jerks? My last time at any Walgreens. The lady had the AUDACITY to all of a sudden act as if she couldn't no longer hear me once I asked her if she could order my prescription since they didn't have it in stock. Friendly service and convenient location. Too bad I can no longer get my scripts at Walgreens as our insurance carrier dropped them. I think I used to stop by a Walgreens somewhere around Lake Conroe at least once a week. My husband lovingly called it my "favorite place to shop" and I just call it my go to store for everything and more. They certainly are not the cheapest game in town, but sometimes you can luck into a 2 for 1 special on their makeup, cleansing items, allergy meds etc. I like this location better than the other 336 Loop store because it has less traffic to deal with getting in and out. read more

I like the store location, the convenience, and the people are great. I understand that sometimes they get busy and I may be put on hold. But, "please hold #click#" irritates the crap out of me. It would take 5 seconds extra seconds to say "This is the pharmacy, could you hold please? (wait for a respond) Thank you #click#". It is far less rude, and so easy. read more

This review is for the pharmacy only... Save yourself a lot of frustration and go somewhere else. While both pharmacist that I have worked with were helpful and very nice, one particularly so, it doesn't make up for the fact that the rest of the team just doesn't seem to give a damn which creates a slow and frustrating experience. Here are a few examples: (A couple are mine as I have had a recent bout requiring several prescriptions and the others are a family member who is on several medications monthly.) 1. When a doctor called in a prescription to pick up on your way home and you wait a couple hours before stopping by to get it only to be told it will be 15-20 more minutes... This happens REGULARLY and is my biggest complaint because it means they didn't even start it until you got there! 2. They lost a handwritten prescription that was dropped off with several others. It took the pharmacist to straighten it out because two of the ladies spoken with just wouldn't listen well enough to grasp the problem, instead getting hung up on an old prescription in their system for the same med. You can only say "I'm not talking about that one, this is a new prescription" so many times before you just want to pull your hair out! 3. You get a liquid medicine that is supposed to be measured out by the ml but no way to measure. Call in and talk to same helpful pharmacist who explains how to measure it by the teaspoon but also says it should have come with a dropper and to come back by if you want one. No thank you, I just wanted it to be right in the first place... I might sound over picky over this stuff but I'm really not trying to be. I'm just frustrated. If it's a regular rx there shouldn't BE problems and if it's not then someone is sick and definitely doesn't want to get the runaround trying to fill it and get home. I really feel like the pharmacy staff at this Walgreens should put themselves in our shoes and provide service in the same fast, friendly, efficient way that they themselves would want it done. read more

I tried to call Walgreens Pharmacy Today, I found it very frustrating and annoying that the person on the other end of the line couldn't understand or speak English. A simple thing such as giving them my name became monumentally difficult. Basically my local pharmacy is now located in India. Not a good call center either. This woman was dumb as a stone and should never have been hired to communicate in English with anyone. I went down the street to CVS. I asked them if they have a call center that is in or out of the US. They have a call center located in the US. I'm now a customer of CVS. read more

Horrible service in the pharmacy. Delays are unacceptable. I've also had several prescriptions filled incorrectly. It's common to have to make multiple trips for one prescription due to delays, wait time, or incorrect fills. To make matters worse, they make transfers virtually impossible for other pharmacies. I've had three local pharmacies describe the horrendous process. Do yourself a favor and choose a better pharmacy. read more
