They have consistently gone above and beyond to advocate for me when insurance issues arise; ensure that I understand new drugs; and fill my scripts as soon as I need them. And John always takes the time to answer my questions over the phone when I've been prescribed new medication and need assurance about side effects, interactions, etc. They make me feel like family--I am lucky to be so cared for by the staff at Northeast Pharmacy! I've unfortunately moved away to a large city where the market is saturated by corporate pharmacies that simply don't cater to its customers the way a small business like Northeast Pharmacy can. How can I not complete the cycle here? And how utterly useless is this listing when it's just 5 people each giving this CVS all different rankings? Guess you need to go judge for yourself. Maybe the 6th person to review this CVS will dispense the real truth, completely objective in every aspect. Really, I don't have a lot to say here. This is a pretty standard CVS, but it's location is very convenient in respect to my parents condo when I'm out that way and it's 24 hours if I'm burning the midnight oil. They have a bunch of household essentials. They didn't have lock de-icer when I really needed it last month but I won't hold it against them too much. There were another couple of places that didn't have it either. That walk was brutal but eventually I got some and got back into my car and that's another story anyway. Service has always been decent, it's not too hard to get someone up at the register who seems decently awake and aware in the wee hours when I tend to roll in to grab a few things. And what do you know, it's terribly late right now and I'm out of stuff to write here. Whoever writes that sixth review can you do me a favor and message me on here? I told them I just had one from here 2 months ago. 3 people couldn't find it in their system. They're not recording when they give vaccines which is illegal and subject to fines. The man I spoke with was so incredibly rude and not helpful at all. He was rushing me, interrupting me as I was trying to answer the questions HE asked. I've had a few issues getting things covered with an out of state prescription under my new medical plan but they've been able to get it fixed. It really depends on who's working. Some of the staff seem more willing and able to help than others. When I had some minor outpatient surgery last month my doctor sent over three scripts and they were filled by that same evening. I was impressed with that and hopefully things continue to go smoothly.

Caution: You may hear a very strange theory from their EXPERTS (sales, not pharmacists, of course)…read morewhen your medication does not work. I purchased some generic medication from Canadian Drug Express (CDE), and it did not work at all. Using the same prescription, I got the same generic medication at a local Walgreens, and this worked so well. Wondering why I had so much different results from the same prescription medication, I called CDE. The first thing I heard was that I would not get a refund though I did not even mention that. Second, I was told by multiple people that different generic medications made by different manufacturers might use different filling materials and different dyes, and the different fillers and dyes could cause the issue. They even asked me to talk to my doctor. My doctor told me that he never heard such a thing. He confirmed that generic medication should have the SAME active ingredients, and the filler and dye should not interfere with what the active ingredients should do. Once I deliver what I had heard from my doctor to them, I was then asked to bring this question to my pharmacists because doctors are not scientists, but pharmacists are. I did reach out to my pharmacist, and he told me the same. A certain filler or dye should not interfere with active ingredients. I even spoke with someone at the FDA. Now the CDE told me that they had never said about filler or dye effect on medication, but they said that different generic medications might have different colors and shapes. While understanding that some medications may work better for some people, what they say and do sounds very untrustworthy. All they offered was to sell more brand name medications at a discounted price. Why should I spend more money on them? I will let them keep my $240. I now understand why they did not accept credit cards. I hope you will not make the same mistake I made.
