I placed my items on the counter for her to ring them up and after giving me my total and me giving her my card I realized she had missed something. I pointed it out to her and she said oh she forgot that. No big deal. I then was on my way out the door and she asked me for my receipt because she forgot to clear it out. What ever that meant. So, I had to bring her my receipt. All the time I am very calm and no attitude at all. She says sorry. I say no problem, but can I get an itemized receipt. This is when things go all wrong. She says this is one. I say oh well I couldn't tell because the receipt was so faint. She says that's why I asked for your receipt to make it better and then she rolls her eyes and raises her voice. I said well what you said and what I said are not the same thing, so all I'm doing is asking you a question. So I proceed to tell the manager and he gets very quiet. So , I say " I thought that you may want to know what kind of customer service your customers are receiving. Again nothing but silence and then he says I'll talk to her. Okay. Well I hope that talk was about how you lost a customer for life. Every time I go I the store it is always about $100.00 spent. It's bad enough to be followed around the store the entire time that I'm shopping. All black people don't steal. Awful experience. So many other great choices in the area. That's what people forget sometimes, is that we have other options.

Only about 30% refund. So I'm in Oakland Mall, go into Hair Secret, and lo and behold! I spot the very style Wigsis failed to deliver, this one lookin' very good, exactly like the photo. As it was summer and over 90 F, too hot for a wig now, and I'd wasted so much money on the wrong one, I reluctantly did not buy it. Very impressive selection. When I can afford another, this is where I'll go. Helpful salesperson too.

Don't Do It!!! Learn From My Mistake!!! Unfortunately, my experience with Shantell (Remy Girls) was…read moredisappointing. I was nervous about spending / investing so much money on a wig but figured if I found the right person all would be well. Much to my dismay, this was not the case. I paid over 700 dollars and feel very much ripped off. I was promised a flawless look upon completion and I was left with a hairline that was cut sloppy and a gluey mess. This defeated the purpose of having a lace wig. Since my service was completed just before leaving town I had to spend my time out of the country with bad hair. I telephoned and texted before I left and she did not return my call until days later while I was still out of the country . When I returned I explained to her how unhappy I was with the look and her solution was another person who was to reinstall the unit. The next person installed and it was just thrown together very sloppy. However, I was not able to see this until I got home. She did a much better job than the first installer/stylist in terms of a finished look, but there were issues. I don't blame her because she was trying to fix the original mess. Initially, it looked good, but once completely dry you are able to see the dry white mess around your hairline. The tabs on wig cut way above my sideburns. If I wear my hair back I need to work out ways to hide this. It's a mess... Things that don't show up in online pics.... Things that you can not see when the job is first done. . Whereas the first time my unit was sewn down to my braids this time it was. poorly glued and started lifting the very next day. My braids underneath are bumpy and as a result my unit does not lay flat. When I called and continued to voice my dissatisfaction I was offered a refund on the install( roughly 100 bucks which I never got) which I explained oes not fix my situation. I shared with Shantell my concerns of her promises, basically trying to fix something that was already done improperly doesn't work . She assured me of a properly redone job. My advice is to save your money. Do your own research, buy your own wig unit from a reputable company. Have the install done by someone who knows what they are doing. There was so much glue on my unit that hairs were torn out while she tried to remove the glue. My hairline also hurts a bit from the experience.. While Shantell presents herself in a professional manner once she has your money its a done deal. I am now stuck with a unit that can not be worn the way intended. I hide my hairline everyday (with hats and comb overs) and will continue to do so until I find a professional to remedy the situation for me. Her last words to me were "We are done!" No Shantell, you"re done. Not necessarily from my review but definitely from your poor work ethic. It will catch up to you. . I am happy to share pics if my experience for anyone who wants to see.close up pics tell the whole story. Additionally, I was promised a flawless look that was easily maintained by tying down at night and wake and shake in the am. This is not the case. If you don't mind sub-par conditions then her work may suffice. If you want what you pay for keep looking. It was overall just so inappropriate and shaming/bullying people to come into your scam of a salon is not an effective business model.
