Took an elderly friend there to pick up a script at the drive thru. We got in line at 1:25 with one vehicle ahead of us. We wondered how the 1:30 lunch closing worked if you are already in line and no way to exit the drive thru due to curbing. Another vehicle pulled in behind us so no way to back up either and no signage to give us a clue. The vehicle in front received their script and pulled out. We pulled up to the window that they stuck the "Closed for Lunch" sign in. I spoke to the window saying we were in line at 1:25! They replied they were closed and that the registers shut down for that hour and there was nothing they could do and to "have a nice day". Do they even know what the acronym CVS stands for? I will tell you "Consumer value stores" originally but more recently CEO's have stated "Convenience, Value, and Service." Are they kidding! Time to find a new Pharmacy. read more

They have always had my scripts ready in a timely fashion. I feel comfortable asking any of the service staff any question I might have. They have had a few service people with some neurological issues, which is reassuring to me. Thank you for being in our neighborhood! read more

Pharmacy is open late! Had forgotten Medicine dropped off without the applicator - this was the only place open at 9:30 at night. The staff was amazing. Helped to locate the correct applicator and was super helpful. Better than a trip to the ER for sure! Thanks to pharmacist and team! read more

This cvs needs better ratings? It's clean, the same staff is nice & has been there at least 8 years because that's how long I've been using this location. They're never out of stock on anything & they are 24 hours 365 days a year I'm pretty sure. They always save me on last minute Christmas Eve needs & even early Christmas Day last minute needs! Sooo , there were 6 people behind the counter in the pharmacy. I got zero acknowledgment. However, when I left the counter, I received several "bye"s. It took over 30 minutes until I got a script for which I had already received a text letting me know that it was ready. This was my husband's script. I go to Costco as they are much nicer and efficient. Gena was nice after I made my way relatively quickly through the drive through. The quickest part of the whole process was being told I was due for a flu shot and would I like it today! The pharmacist on duty was Fatima but Gena didn't know her last name. read more

Went to pick up my prescription to find out my medication was unavailable, I asked the pharmacist if he could check with other locations for availability. Pharmacist informed me he hadn't done so, but if I wanted to call around and find the medication he could transfer the prescription. He was unwilling to even check other CVS locations, pretty crappy customer service. I found the medication and promptly transferred all my family's scripts to a competitor. I will no longer do business with the location and the pharmacist should be gotten rid of IMO. Customer service was non existent read more

I asked at the front counter if she had any tee tree oil. She didn't know. So I went to pharmacy and they told me to check at he front desk. I told them that I just left the front desk. I looked for tee tree oil and I never did locate it. You should hire people to work for you who knows their products and are willing to assist a customer in finding it. read more

Horrible - but that's ALL CVS stores, not just this one. 1- you cannot - repeat, can NOT- call the store. Ever. The AI bot in VM hell won't let you. It keeps asking question after question, and you keep answering , at some point it says, "Sounds like you want to talk to pharmacy staff?", you answer yes, and it starts over sometimes, until you hang up, OR it says, " Ok, leave your message right now and someone will call you within an hour. " SO, no, just don't bother. You have to go in person to find out anything : the online site doesn't work, and I would never put a CVS app on my phone! 2- the store autimatically fills Rx's that you transferred to other pharmacies like Walgreens. 3- the AI bot never works to let you know your list of Rx's or when something is due, so you have to go to the store to ask every single time. But they automatically fill things you DON'T want, and you don't have any option to cancel except to go in person. 4- The store is so bad the night shift pharmacist - who had to work by himself, giving vaccines and filling Rx's and taking drive up and calls and doing all the insurance work and cleaning up - quit. They have short hours now. Note that other 24/7 have plenty of staff, day and night - wonder how they do it when CVS won't? read more

Never had an issue with this pharmacy. I've been gone here for five years and then today I get discharged from the hospital and because it's New Year's Day the pharmacy at the hospital was closed so they had to send my prescriptions to CVS and my husband was able to pick up three of them today. They didn't have my other prescription which is the main one I need for my pain for my surgery that I had on Monday so the hospital changed the prescription to a different time to help for my pain and I got a text message and on the app. It says my prescription was ready. We show up there and they're telling me it's not ready. It will not be ready until tomorrow and I can't wait till tomorrow and then the lady is telling me well. We called you on Monday and I said well no one answered my phone Monday. I was in surgery Monday. I had voicemails from you guys, but I was not able to call back because I was in surgery and I just got discharged today and then she's stating how it's my fault because they called Monday saying the prescription wasn't ready and that I should be getting my prescription from the hospital and I explain how it's New Year's Day at the hospital's pharmacy is closed. That's why it's being said to you and she's just being very mean and rude to me and I just got a surgery and she made me cry on the phone and then saying how she has other people on hold on the phone and she needs to talk to them and I gotta figure everything else out just being very mean to me for no reason and I do not need this. And then she says well, we'll make an exception for you to have your prescription ready. It should've been ready because the app says it's ready and I got a text message saying that it's ready so I don't know why she was being so horrible the way she was talking and what she was saying. Make it out to be my fault because I couldn't get my prescriptions on Monday when they were sent there. I had no idea they were sent there Monday. Beware. They are unprofessional and rude here. I needed help finding a few items so I went to the front counter. The cashier/ young woman was actually crouched behind and underneath the counter hiding from customers and playing on her cell phone. I asked if she could help me find a few items. She agreed but I let her take another customer first. Her and her manager became rude and hostile with me when I told them the items needed to be put back due to an order issue. This young immature girl started making comments about me which prompted me to threaten to call corporate. Which I still might do. You need to mind your own business and do your job at CVS; not get into customers' business as to why they don't want items. read more

My insurance was changed (without my ok) then I had to pick a different one cause my Dr. Of 10 yrs didn't take the one changed to, then lost my pharmacy forcing me to use CVS. Dan the pharmacist and all of his helpers have very poor communication skills. They walk around like they don't care about the people they're servicing and they do not seem as if they care about their jobs. Had a prescription sent from my physician. I had asked for this pharmacy. Prescription was sent to Garfield and Moravian. I was told by the pharmacist that I would have to go there and they could not fill it when you're not feeling well you're not wanting to drive all over to pick up your prescriptions. He had ability to fill my prescription, and not make me go to another pharmacy, will not use this pharmacy again. read more

went In at 8am to grab some things before work, was not greeted first off and then when came to checking out at self checkout, I'm not sure if she was the manager or just a sale associate. she was a more on the plump side, with short hair and glasses. I know she was just doing her job which I appreciate that. But my family has worked for cvs for over 20 years now. And I know what to expect with cvs customer service. Anyway, she comes around the corner and asked if I found everything and I said yes thank you, and she proceeded to stand directly behind me at least 2 feet away and watch everything I was doing until I was done checking out and when I pulled out my phone to scan my card she ask do you have a cvs card and I look at her and tell her yes that's what I'm doing right now and she continued to pace 2 feet from behind me making me very uncomfortable and probably every other customer. read more

I was glad to look and see that other people were also offended by Dan in the pharmacy. He is completely rude and clueless. Even after I spoke to the manager, he called me back and was rude again. He needs to get a job where he doesn't interact with the public. I called Wal-mart (where I would still be going except for my insurance) and the lady there was great and apologized for Dan at CVS! One star for the old man, who filled the prescription accurately and politely. However, the somewhat younger man on the weekend overnight shift was very rude. When I then told him that this place was as bad as Walgreens, he aggressively said "maybe worse", which sounded like a threat to me (i.e. that he might do something to make it worse). Worst pharmacy ever. I hate my insurance for forcing me to use CVS. I used Wallgreens for years. Ever since I have switched CVS they have constantly screwed up my prescriptions and my wife's. They don't have items in stock, have to order it, then can figure out what day it will be. I have been hung up by staff, questioned by staff as to why my Physician has be on xyz? Routinely ask me if I have ever taken a before or tell me they show me allergic to the drug. Keep in mind this is a drug I have taken for years. The only reason this place gets 1 Star is because the female manager, was friendly and understanding. I drive a few miles to this CVS because it was the only one open at the time. Mind you, I am now sitting in the parking lot of another pharmacy waiting for it to open. I've never been talked down to so rudely at a pharmacy in my life. I have the pharmacist my prescription and he said he'd have to call because they were out of one, and that he would have to call on the other one as well. I politely asked why, were they out of both? He proceeded to tell me that I had already picked up a similar medication days before so he would not be giving me this one, with a lot of attitude. Then he asked me "why do you need two benzodiazepines?" In a condescending manor like I was trying to scam him or something. I don't feel like putting my whole medical background out there on the internet but this medication is prescribed to me for a very good reason. I started to go into depth, and he cut me off saying that he wouldn't fill them and to leave. 1) it's illegal to ask someone why they need their medication. The pharmacist are there to fill your prescriptions, answer questions etc. 2) I've never been to a pharmacy where they insinuated that I was doing something wrong for filling my prescription. I'm not the doctor here, but these were giving to me. I don't think that I should be treated poorly just because the man "Dan" doesn't know my medical background. Safe to say I hope CVS realizes that people like Dan are detrimental to their business. That's not how you get return patients, or customers. I'm hoping to hear back from Sharon, the nice manager today. If not, I'll chalk this up to a bad day for Dan. Too bad he had to make it a bad day for me as well. It's scary how clueless the staff appears....I called asking them to call the urgent care doctor; what the woman I spoke to heard was Get my script from Walgreens. I called after 3 hours of hearing nothing to learn that they tried to get my script from Walgreens and not the urgent care doctor. This is a nightmare. My mother is a cancer patient and was issued a prescription for Arimidex on December 31, 2020 and took it to the CVS on 18 Mile Road and Garfield to be filled. My mother, who is 85 and on limited income, used her GoodRX Gold card, which she has had since October 2019, to hopefully obtain a cheaper price on the prescription, She was shocked when she was told that she had to pay $391.38 for a 3 month supply. But, since she is a cance rpatient, she paid the amount to CVS. We returned to her oncologist last week and she asked for a cheaper hormone immunity drug. Our oncologist was shocked to hear the price she paid and checked GoodRX which listed the price at $23.85 per 30 day supply. We went to the CVS today to complain and we were told, by the young glass-wearing pharmacist, that there was nothing he could do as it was over 2 months ago, which false, since today is February 26, 2021. He also asked why my mother didn't use her prescription to pay for the pills, but, she does not have prescription coverage (he wrongfully insisted that she did). He also said to call GoodRX for a refund!! Why would GoodRX give us a refund when we paid CVS??? My mother was over-charged in excess of $300.00 and they will do nothing to help her!!! read more

After leaving urgent care I received a list of 24 hour pharmacies in the area.. This being on my way home it did the job! I walked in. The tech was super friendly and so sweet! She did the scripts as fast as she could because she could see I was very uncomfortable. The pharmacist is Kurt but I'm sure she needs to be being the pharmacist. I'd probably come again IF I needed a script filled after hours. The only thing about CVS I don't like....It just seems so old! Idk maybe just me? Like it needs more lighting and more color.. The fluorescent lights and gray with red just isn't working for me... But my rating is based on my interaction with the tech and customer service and them getting my scripts done!! This is a joke of a pharmacy. Went to get script filled and the pharmacist was busy. He however was an older gentleman, likely not used to working in a busy place and using computers. He was literally losing it. Rude and obnoxious. After waiting an hour I was told my price, using a coupon was 37 dollars, 57 without coupon. Well I know that's not true. The pharmacist was beside himself because he was "so busy with other stuff" he wasn't able to get prices right and several customers were not happy. I took my script back, went to a very professional staff at Meyer and got it for 8 dollars. I am DONE with cvs. That store needs new management. That pharmacist needs to retire. read more

They told me to wait 30 minutes for a prescription so I came back after 45 and the pharmacy tech and the audacity to tell me to wait another 30 minutes just for a 40ml cough suppressant. This particular CVS was always my favorite. It is clean and organized and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Until today. The lady at the register (I believe her name is Michelle), was less than pleasant. She was actually curt and made me feel unwelcome. It was not busy and there was no reason for her to be annoyed when I asked for a particular item. She acted as if it was a bother for her to pick up the phone and ask someone if it was available (she may as well have rolled her eyes)! And when she described it improperly (cans versus bottles), I corrected her & she got an attitude . She said, "Oh, now she wants the bottles." Which is what I asked for in the first place. She offered the alternative & I declined. She went back on the phone and said, "Oh, now she doesn't want it," followed by a heavy sigh . Totally uncalled for & unprofessional. After her behavior, I don't think I'll be back. Walgreens is down the street. read more

Terrible experience with a prescription order - this was the first time I used this pharmacy, as I normally fill scripts near my work for convenience. This new location is closest to my home and I needed something over the weekend......my script was a controlled substance/30 day refill only, and was prescribed for a 60 count; when I checked the bottle at home, there were only 30 pills in the container! I spoke with my doctor who said that oddly, the script didn't even show up in the government system (MAPS) that monitors controlled substances, and she insisted I call them and to have them call her if there were any issues. When I phoned, I spoke with a very rude pharmacist or tech, not sure which - he basically told me the count had been double-counted and signed off on, implying that I was lying! I asked him to call my doctor, which he would NOT do......very very sketchy and my doctor agrees. Oddly enough, after my call to the pharmacy and my mentioning that it had never shown up in the system, suddenly it was there by the time my doctor called me back. Someone is definitely stealing drugs within the staff and selling them off! She insists that I call the CVS pharmacy management to report this, which will be done! Very, very rude and cavalier attitude - most offensive is that they are implying I'm the one lying - I have never had this happen at any other location, and believe me, I would not say I had only 30 pills if I didn't! Will NEVER use this location again - do NOT bother with this CVS pharmacy. read more

This is not the closest CVS pharmacy to my home at all however on a Sunday at 6:30pm I was in a jam. Drove 15 minutes to the nearest 24 hour CVS and have to wait approximately 5 minutes before my turn- no big deal. Pharmacist asks me what I want I hand him the card for the pseudoephedrine containing sinus medication and ask if he has the 1 pill/24 hour in stock. He tells me he doesn't however offers me a different medication. I ask him if it's the same thing and he rudely replies "look lady- do you know what you want, there are people waiting" I am flabbergasted and ask again. He says it's a different brand. I tell him forget it I will stick with what I had originally asked for. The conversation escalated from there with me telling him he was rude. His reply is that they are short staffed- management won't allow them to hire anyone else. I tell him that's not my or the public's problem to which he replied it kind of was. I just want to get the heck out of there at this point and again tell him how rude he was. Awful customer service. I will never go there again! Already hate the fact that we have to use CVS as our pharmacy provider. read more
