Unhelpful staff, long wait times, they cancel prescription insurance. Terrible service overall!

For a drugstore I would have to get say they do have an amazing selection of makeup. But I have to agree with the previous reviewers I am very deterred by the annoying "you have been notified" button.... they have them all around Detroit. Look not everybody wants to steal your $5 makeup stop thinking your Sephora. On that note they carry pretty much everything you would need on a late night run. I was check out the clearance aisle end cap which is usually towards the back and it was currently an extra 70% off the already reduced price..... so I got things like Old Spice men's body spray for $0.60 and a pack of crayons for like $0.09 who can beat that... CVS Pharmacy - The great white sign says they're open 24 hours - Drugstores Near Me - Sterling Heights, Michigan

I've come here a fair amount of times (woot woot for being open 24/7) and I have no complaints. Although I've never personally dealt with their pharmacy and can't speak to that. I love that they're always open. They were my go-to place when I had a sick foster kitten and needed a thermometer ASAP (Didn't have much of a selection but found one that would suffice) or when I needed some Drano to get my shower unclogged. When I have come in, no matter the time of day, I've found the cashiers to always be helpful, sometimes going above and beyond. ie. the lady who, unsolicited, told me I need to make sure and leave the Drano in for an hour or so before turning on the water. I knew that already since I read the instructions on the bottle but I appreciated the tip! Very considerate of her. Only thing I hate is that in order to get some of the really good deals on the snacks or candy they force you to buy 2, 3, or even 4 of the item to get the lower price. Why?! Typical CVS with all the normal CVS stuff. Usual layout with all of what you would expect. Nothing here worth mentioning.

I shop here a lot .. but my last few visits the rudest people work here force you to self checkout you wasted that much time telling me self checkout was available you could've rang me up and been done the new manager Kim or something like that is the rudest I'm never going back to this place because of her she says hi to everyone but me she's so fake so GFY read more

Big, great selection and clean. This is a nice CVS. One star off for the fact that every minute I spent browsing the makeup I heard "employees have been notified that you are in the beauty aisle. Please press the red call button if you need assistance". I didn't need assistance, but I also never saw a red call button (I looked after hearing the message 80-11 times!). Bad bad bad service with attitude. I went inside the store to return some items; no one was by the register I looked over and searched the aisles until i found a guy his name is Cameron and named himself a manger I asked him politely if there's someone to help me but he ignore my call; he was standing in the aisle playing with his phone texting. I waited by the register and he was looking at me with no care so I went to him again then he said to me " you was rude so I did not help you" I asked him three times what did he just said but he did not answer me so I told him to call the manger; he said he is the manger. I will not go back to this location unless the department of the surveys for CVS do something about it. I will tell everyone about how bad and awful service of this location; the employees think that just because they are managers, no one can talk to them and the higher levels of CVS won't act anything about it that's why employees take advantage of it. I want this guy Cameron to be punished of his careless and attitude. There are cameras in the store and if you want our survey then you need to read them and act on each situation. Very organized and very functional CVS. The staff was very helpful when I was walking around looking for a specific item. They even checked their stock in the back when it didn't appear to be in any of the aisles. read more

I'm usually not one to leave reviews on drug stores, but.... Today after work I stopped in for a couple things. I was greeted by a very nice lady with darker hair (name started with a B?) and went about loading my basket. When I got to check out there was a substantial line and a lighter hair gentleman was checking everyone out--and by everyone I mean the short Albanian woman at the counter holding up the line. Bless her heart, she was trying to check out and fill her scripts at the cashier and he was struggling with the communication barrier, while watching the growing line of people waiting to check out. To his credit, he was very patient with her and went out of his way to help. He grabbed the girl that greeted me who immediately began checking people out at two different registers at the same time. The lighter haired guy physically came out behind the counter and told the Albanian woman that he was taking her to the pharmacy and escorted her to the back. I know it's not much in the grand scheme of things but it was so nice that they both kept smiles on their faces and went the extra mile for their customers. Five stars. read more

Absolutely the slowest and rudest pharmacy in Macomb county! They left me waiting to even hand in my prescription for 45 mins. Then after they finally came back to the window I was told they forgot I was there! read more

Worst pharmacy in the area!!! Never have your script ready even when you call ahead or day before, always an excuse. Store itself has awesome employees and very helpful!! Here is an example: script called in by doc, I called an hour later and they said give us an hour. I was like ok no problem. I get there, sorry don't have this med at this pharmacy. What the hell!!! Second time a month later, same med. I get there, sorry we don't have any but both times a cvs store 5 miles away has it. Yesterday, called to see if refill will be ready the next day. They said will be ready by noon or so. I'm like ok thank you. I get there at 4pm, and they say "we were just about to fill it, give us 5-10 min". So bull!!! Irritates me why people make a story or excuse why their not efficient. If you can't do it or are crunched on time, don't lie and waste my time then think I'm dumb to fall for it . Last time I will use that pharmacy!!!! Again the store part has the best employees and management I've seen, it's the pharmacy that needs to hire honest more efficient employees! read more
