Quick photo-pickups, great selection, but not the most organized. The lighting is a tad cryptic but Walgreens always is stocked with the necessities and offers a complete, well-rounded assortment of drug-store items. While the lines aren't always the quickest, the store generally is equipped to meet customers' needs. read more

Parking is just horrendous, and entering/exiting the parking lot is even worse. The pharmacy department is SLOW as molasses, and if you try to come between 4 and 8PM you might as well pull a Breaking Bad and try to synthesize the drugs yourself because it may in fact save you time. +1 star for being open 24 hours +1 very important star for the jolly guy behind the register, as Simone so perfectly put it. I believe his name is Michael (?) and if it weren't for him I would have moved my pharmacy needs across the street to Schnucks long, long ago. I no longer live in the area but on trips back to the Lou this kind man still remembers me, and his friendly smile is what keeps me coming back despite otherwise 1 star experiences. read more

Upon entering the store, I was greeted immediately by the cashier-Abby; she was truly friendly and happy to welcome me :-) At checkout she performed her job perfectly. She was quick, friendly and efficient. Then as I was leaving she sent me off with a fond farewell, and hoped that i would come back to Walgreens. read more

I've never had a bad experience here and I have used them for everything from perfume, pharmacy, photo, and store goods. The staff are always friendly and available. The extended hours are a big part of why I use this location. I really hate the parking lot though. Accessing it from the various streets differs based on where you're coming from and with one entrance being a no-left-turn, it can be a real annoyance to get in and out. read more

This pharmacy put me in a life and death situation regarding my medications and not filling them on emergency orders and said tough luck. Very displeased and have contacted the board and Walgreens higher up management, I had to go back to the ER because they were refusing my medication and the ER doctors said they put me in a life and death emergency. Do not recommend, better to support local pharmacies as well! read more

A couple of nights ago I stopped in to grab a few things for the next day. The manager checked me out at the perfume counter. For some reason the magnetic strip on my card could not be read so I asked if she could enter the numbers manually. She asked for my I.D., finished the transaction and said I should be happy I got her because only a manager could have done that. I said ok(puzzled), thanked her and left. What bothered me about this experience was her comment. She was only going to do the bare minimum. I had to suggest that she do something more. She wasn't doing me a favor nor was she going above and beyond her duties. She lacked humility and respect for her customer. I can only hope that the people she manages are not following her example. read more

This a FANTASTIC WALGREENS! I've been here several times and there are a couple of WONDERFUL EMPLOYEES whom I've encountered that have made coming here the greatest. I don't understand the store very much. It seems a little confusing organizational wise, but that could be that it's a larger store. Plus, as someone pointed out, PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE! It's small, too many one ways, and it's a circle arrangement? which makes it extremely difficult to maneuver around. I park AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE to be able to not get into an accident since having a large vehicle can be detrimental in this parking lot. BUT, there are a couple of WONDERFUL EMPLOYEES that make it worth coming to this Walgreens. They are so helpful, cheerful, joke with you, and are extremely helpful and point out where to get the best deals and how the coupons work and how to extend your dollars, which is so much appreciated. I was going to leave four stars due to the parking situation and organization, however, the employees far outweigh the parking lot and merchandising situation, so five stars it is. Yay to the Walgreens family for hiring some nice employees at some of their stores. Other Walgreens stores, NOT SO MUCH, but this one, YAY! read more

This is ONLY about the pharmacy (although I would say that the parking lot is one of the most ill-devised parking lots in history). The wait times for the pharmacy on the phone and in line are atrocious. It is rare that you can just run in and pick up your meds, expect a fifteen minute wait in line on average. They are also incredibly disorganized behind the counter. I wish a CVS would open up nearby and given them some competition. read more

Pediatrician called in my son's albuterol and when my husband went to pick them up, a pharmacy tech told him that there was an issue with our insurance so we wouldn't be able to pick up the prescription until 8am the next day. Because, you know, insurance issues magically go away at 8am the next day. My husband went to the parking lot and called our insurance company. They said there was no problem on their end and they process in real time so there shouldn't be an issue at all. My husband went back in to discuss this with the pharmacy and the tech kept referring to albuterol as adderall. It was a pretty unprofessional display and it seems as though they just didn't want to admit that they were out of the prescription, although I'll never truly know if they were actually out of albuterol or adderall. I called another Walgreens and the prescription was filled in 20 minutes with no problems. A few month prior, the exact same tech told me that she needed several numbers that weren't on my insurance card to fill another prescription (stuff like the bin #, group policy, etc.). Every single one of those numbers was listed on the front of my insurance card. I'm done with the Clayton Walgreens location. read more

I have recently had several prints made of my sons Junior Prom, and every time several of the prints came back having been cropped. In this day and age, everyone has access to cropping tools, and is able to crop their one photos. Why Walgreens feels it necessary to automatically crop people's photos is beyond my comprehension. Leave them alone! It's not as if the cropping was well done. My son was scalped several times! read more
