We stopped on our way home to this location but this was my insanely busy. There was a long line and only one cashier managing two cash registers. She was so friendly and nice even though it was a stressful environment. Everything was well stocked mid-day with a lot of options. However, it took a good 20 minutes to get in and out of the convenient store making it not so convenient.

This is the Best Stewart's gas and food shop in Chestertown…read more Gas is pretty inexpensive. All the food is on sale. Great deals on ice cream, hot dogs, soda, egg nog, beers and pantry foods. There are about 8-10 pumps up front with plenty of space for cars towing boats, jet skis and winter sport equipment like skidoos and skis. The Stewart's staff was pretty amiable and helpful. Even the long lines were no big deal as people were friendly, even talking to strangers and tourists! It is a very large Stewarts with all sorts of isles for anything your household or travel plans could require. Visitors were purchasing ice creams, racks of beer, cigarettes, soda, lottery and food. Great place to stop in and stock up. Stewart's Shops are the clean and efficient and friendly place to be in New York. Review: 5
