However, when I used the product for the first time, I experienced a skin reaction. My neck and chest became red and irritated, with a stinging sensation that lasted for several hours. I reached out to Bath Junkie to report the issue and share a photo, and I will say that their customer service team responded promptly. The representative I corresponded with apologized for the situation and advised me to stop using the product immediately. She said their product packaging was accurate. There was no offer to make things right, such as a refund or replacement, nor any apparent takeaway on their end to dispose of (or further test) the cherry or almond scents in my product, or change their labeling. I do have sensitive skin, but I've used a variety of customizable products from other brands (e.g. Buff City Soaps) without issue, and shop at stores like Lush, so this reaction was unexpected. Ultimately, I have to caution others with sensitive skin to be mindful when trying Bath Junkie's products, and do a test patch prior to applying more widely to the skin.

Bath Junkie is the place to find what you probably could use yourself or find a bath related gift. I was delighted that they do feature several Rinse brand products. Rinse I'm a big fan of, their products are hand made in Georgia. Not too many stores carry Rinse products so I had to indulge. Spending the day in Carmel and walking around I was not expecting to find a place like this but I'm sure glad I did. A great selection of products was only complimented by a friendly and knowledgeable staff to assist. I saw some products that I've seen before but I saw just as many that I can say I've never seen before. A specialty store done well. I wouldn't hesitate to come back to check out other unique products.

Made the jump to chop most of my long hair off a couple years ago and only because I trusted my stylist. Then also made the e jump to get highlights, also Tony because I trusted my stylist. Their products are also excellent and the staff make great recommendations. Really cute clothes and home goods as well. It can be a bit pricey, especially as your stylist gets better and better and moves up through the ranks. The products and clothes are also more on the pricey end. Rude, overpriced, unprofessional…read more I am extremely disappointed with both the service I received and the way this salon handled my concerns. During my color appointment, I repeatedly told my stylist that my scalp was itching, tingling, and becoming increasingly uncomfortable while the color was processing. These are common warning signs of irritation or a chemical reaction. Despite informing her, the color remained on my scalp. When I got home, it became clear that my scalp had been burned. The reaction was severe enough to trigger an inflammatory flare-up. No client should leave a salon with a chemical burn after expressing concerns during the service. What truly turned a bad experience into an unacceptable one was not just the casual attitude of my stylist, but later on in a separate incident, the salon's treatment towards me. When I expressed my grievance to them, first to the receptionists, then escalating to management, my concerns were largely dismissed. There was no meaningful acknowledgment, no genuine concern for my well-being, and no effort to take responsibility for what occurred. In addition, my interactions with the front desk were consistently rude and condescending. The black girl was the worst offender. Rather than feeling like a valued customer whose health and safety mattered, I felt as though I was being treated as an inconvenience for reporting a legitimate issue. Mistakes can happen in any business. What separates a reputable salon from a poor one is how it responds when something goes wrong. In this case, the lack of professionalism, empathy, and accountability was just as troubling as the injury itself. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone seeking services here.

I had been curious and wanting to pop by as soon as I found out the lovely Erin Edds was involved. In need of a little "thank you" gift, I thought Buff City Soap was the perfect answer while I was in the area. The staff promptly greeted us upon arrival and were busy bustling around creating new soaps (love the open concept so that guests can see how the magic happens). The displays are cleverly set up with products ranging from colorful bars of soap and bath bombs to whipped body creams and an assortment of laundry-related products. The young man who checked us out graciously wrapped my gift in a small box and even through in a few fun samples for us to try out at home. It was such a fun and pleasant experience. It goes to show that strong and enthusiastic customer service always makes the world of difference. Bravo!
