If you're into beauty, then this is you're place! I've been really interested in beauty products due to COVID as my face started to break out. I've been researching a lot of products and Sephora carries some of the lines that I am interested in. I've even got my man into skin care, so it's fun! The workers here were very helpful and knowledgeable about products. Just starting out, we have so many questions and they seemed to accommodate our wants and needs. I love how they allow the testers to be out because it gives you a nice way to gauge how something feels before you buy. Although they do take returns, it's nice to be able to test out the product beforehand for scent, texture, and blend-age. I sometimes forget to return items, therefore I love the option to try it out first. Sephora is definitely somewhere that's not cheap, beauty costs! I've been focused on facial skin care that I mostly paid attention to those products but this spot carries a variety of items. I wouldn't mind to just come in here and window shop with all the cool beauty goods they carry. Knowing that this is a place of beauty makes it awesome, but it was also wonderful that you can sign up for rewards and get a birthday gift! My birthday was in May, and even though it had passed, the lady at the counter gave me 2 choices to pick from for my birthday perk, how amazing! That was definitely an added bonus to love!

Proof of purchase and location - A paper shopping bag from Sephora in Carmel, Indiana, holds several beauty products, including boxed skincare and makeup items. The products are stacked inside the bag, with some packaging visible, such as a Charcoal Tummy product and other cosmetics. A receipt is also visible inside the bag, indicating a recent purchase.

I am such a longtime shopper at Sephora I go all the time but since I've moved the clay terrace sephora is now closer than the keystone location. I can usually always count on an associate to help me whenever I shop and especially since this wasn't my typical location I would have loved help finding certain brands since those two stores are set up really differently. No one spoke to me the entire time and I had a shopping bag full of stuff. I couldnt even find someone to help me grab a fragrance so I just picked up a mini set that was put already when the full size would've been my preference. Either way idk if these girls need more discrimination training or what bc I did notice I was the only only person in the store that wasn't a white woman. Next time I'll definitely take the extra 15 min detour to the fashion mall. ‍

How cute are the concealers?!

I really liked Moorman's when it was still down in Broadripple...it was completely cluttered and…read morechaotic, but I enjoyed that about it. I haven't been in this new location very often, but I do here when in search of something rare in the way of a fragrance. Now, I would say that Moorman's probably caters more to the classic and likely won't have the latest of the latest like Nordstrom, but I have found items here that I cannot find anyplace else - at in a least a bricks & mortar shop - in town. I am particularly a fan of some classic French fragrances, especially Eau de Rochas and Byzance by Rochas and I know that I have bought them here in the past. Come to think of it, I believe it's time for another visit to Moorman's......

This is the only place in town I can find Lapidus for Men and Cafe' a reasonably priced old school perfume that's excellent for everyday. They also carry the best (longest lasting) essential oils in town and will bottle them for you in a choice of bottle sizes. Some of the staff are willing to mix oil scents for you and some are not so happy about doing this, so it's a gamble, but if you want to mix up your own signature scent this is the place in town to go. As for the line/lines of soaps they carry, I hesitate to use the phrase old fashioned, and prefer the word vintage. These vintage scents evoke sense memory's of how my grandma smelled as she was readying for church. What's a better comfort than that scent?

What a unique experience in Carmel, where things can feel so cookie cutter sometimes. Located in…read morethe town center in a deceivingly small area, there is a huge selection of scents to choose from and combine. My girlfriend got this experience for me as a birthday gift and I was initially overwhelmed the array of options available. There is a list of suggested combinations available based on your interests and the scents are categorized by their smells, such as fruits, spices, and musks. Even further, Melissa, the owner, was there when we went and was able to blend scents based on our interests. They have a variety of items to apply the scents to, including scrubs, body washes, and aftershaves. While a little expensive, the ability to choose your own fragrances in quality products is definitely worth it and worth coming back to.

While my experience started off positively, it ultimately left me disappointed…read more The staff at the store were kind and helpful, assisting me in customizing a Hydrating Body Mist in the cherry almond scent. However, when I used the product for the first time, I experienced a skin reaction. My neck and chest became red and irritated, with a stinging sensation that lasted for several hours. I reached out to Bath Junkie to report the issue and share a photo, and I will say that their customer service team responded promptly. The representative I corresponded with apologized for the situation and advised me to stop using the product immediately. She said their product packaging was accurate. There was no offer to make things right, such as a refund or replacement, nor any apparent takeaway on their end to dispose of (or further test) the cherry or almond scents in my product, or change their labeling. I do have sensitive skin, but I've used a variety of customizable products from other brands (e.g. Buff City Soaps) without issue, and shop at stores like Lush, so this reaction was unexpected. Ultimately, I have to caution others with sensitive skin to be mindful when trying Bath Junkie's products, and do a test patch prior to applying more widely to the skin.
