Good pharmacy when I am North for the summer and need prescriptions filled. Also excellent if you need flu or COVID vaccine shots.

As well as, it took me about four hours to take out the braids and the extra hair that they added into my hair that I did NOT need as well as way too much thread and it completely messed up my hair and almost had to get a buzz cut.

They also have all kinds of extensions and ponytails and any hair supply you would need! I have been going there for a while now and finally decided to set up a hair braiding appointment and I was far from disappointed. I honestly almost cried because of the amazing job that the braider did. Her name is Suzie and she's an absolute professional and completely underrated. Most of the hair braiders in Maine (I've been to a lot.) have always disappointed me and have never even come close to the hairstyle that I've asked for. Not only did she have to simply look at the photo and know exactly how to do the hairstyle I wanted.... But it was so reasonably priced. She helped make my birthday an amazing day because I got to have my hair looking exactly how i wanted it! THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN! DEFINITELY COME HERE! ILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

This was the first Sally Beauty store I have ever been to and it was for a very specific need…read more I needed a few capes for haircutting two adult and one child and while I'm sure I could have found them at another non-speciality store, I didn't want to waste my time. Sally Beauty's team delivered on that goal! There was plenty of shared parking in front of the store. It's a very small store, which makes sense since it's geared towards salon needs. I was greeted within a minute of walking in the store. A friendly tone and smile also while leaving me some personal space. She offered her assistance and I immediately took her up on it, since I was in a hurry. She took me directly to the options and pointed out the sizes I was specifically looking for so that I could focus my attention on the product. So very helpful. I picked out what I was looking for and she was already helping the customer that walked in behind me. I was concerned that I would be at the register waiting for her to be finished with that customer (who had so many questions) and instead, she excused herself for a brief moment from that customer to quickly close my transaction so I could be on my way. Not only did she have great customer service, she had great situational awareness. I will definitely come back to this store if I have a need and am in the area. Well done team! Thank you.

It feels like you've stepped into someone's home or personal art gallery (a relaxed one run by super nice, super hip people you could kick back and have a local beer with, not the stuffy kind that won't let you touch anything and watches you like a hawk as you peruse). But this is a shop. One where you can purchase (without breaking the bank, might I add) seaweed specialty foods (like granola bars, sauces, teas), seaweed and sea inspired bath and body items (DYK: seaweed is rich in vitamins, minerals, and contains anti-inflammatory properties?!), seaweed and sea inspired home goods, and more. I believe most (if not all) of their items are also local and sustainably sourced. Could it get better? YES. Because, they've got a beautiful focus on education and ocean conservation as well - so you can buy reusable, non-breakable straws, wine cups, and pints here. #beatplasticpollution As a mermaid, this has easily become my favorite store in all of Portland.

I walked away with some cute shower aromatherapy scent bombs which i've never seen before, that made my giftees super super happy! The dog items were also cute, including like a seaman's rope leash thing. PROTIP: Some of the seaweed is actually cheaper around the corner at the Portland Co-op.
