The lack of caring, respect, and understanding is disheartening. All I asked for was to fill up my cup from a sink and pay the price I would for a soda anywhere else and was treated like the scum of the earth. I would not stop here if I was starving, I would rather push my car 20 miles in the snow barefoot, than stopping at wisscaset quick stop.

Also look for the whoopie pies, made locally, on the counter. A simple but wonderful dessert. I ordered a ham hero with lettuce tomato and mayonnaise. $11 for two slices of ham, a bunch of romaine lettuce and a couple of tomato slices. Basically a bread sandwich with a few other accoutrements. Ok folks, if you can't knock it out of the park every time, close. The only reason you stay in business is either you have an endless supply of tourist or your customer base doesn't know any better. $11 is no big deal for me. For crying out loud, charge me $15-20 for a good sandwich. But give me a freaking sandwich. It's not my intent to be mean. I get mad. Making a great sandwich is easy.
