But the search is easier without the vast expanse of those other department stores I named above. I have found the people are friendly and helpful also. We have a branch in our home town, and this one seems familiar and comfortable in its Reny's "brand." We went there because we are playing their Passport adventure, visiting every store in Maine for winter fun.

Every once in a while you'll strike gold by finding an expensive product at a deep discount. The place smells like plastic, the cashiers have to wear vests, and they have signs everywhere that read, "smile, you're on camera!" in what I can only assume is an attempt at both underhanded humor and simultaneous theft deterrent.

Forgot wallet. Forgot item in an aisle. Needs to use two cards. Then a second order and kind of the same things. But the cashier was kind and gracious and didn't rush them or make a fuss. It was so nice to see. Another person came up and helped us. We needed balloons. Usually stores are super rude and hate doing this. They were super nice. Just kept plugging along and kindly placed items on the counter rather than throwing them back at us as the wrong the items through. Overall a great experience. A couple of irritating things thus not 5 stars but why waste space with negatives-the ladies who worked in the store were nice so I will be too.

The employees said goodbye to me when I left empty handed. Please just close doors forever, I miss the days when my local goodwill was packed with so many items that it was hard to walk in and was fun to scavenge. This isn't a problem with the employees this is a problem with resellers and goodwill going online. Goodwill isn't good anymore it only cares about making the most money as possible, greedy.
