I honestly think the men's clothing (more so than the women's) are a bit on the cool side so picked up a few casual tops for my husband since he's still working from home and some lightweight cargo pants. While I'm a proud owner of their heavy-duty canvas totes for the last umpteen years (I own 2 large ones), the clothes not so much. L.L. women's clothes aren't my style- and not to say anything wrong about it, but the clothes are more for a certain crowd. There are those duck boots and small wooden furniture on the floor also for sale. But I finally got my hands on a white-grey cotton sheet set and a down grey comforter that I've been wanting. As the cashier scans your items, you'll notice their original, jacked-up prices- so don't let it spook you the way it did to me as discounts are applied at the end. Once we paid, I didn't feel this was my doom-and-gloom outlet visit. Service was nice and respectful by the way.

There are also heaps of shoes and boots, scarves, warm socks, hats, swimwear, sun glasses, watches and of course high quality long underwear. I even saw some life jackets in the store. Definitely a wide variety of different and very useful items. The prices here vary but tend to reflect the higher quality of the merchandise. Jansons isn't a good place to find trinkets and souvenirs but it is a great store to find quality clothing to keep your butt warm during the cold Maine winters.

You don't need a res- you can walk right in, and they have a few dressing rooms in the back they lead you to. Megan helped me- and I was nervous and embarrassed, but she put me at ease totally. She told me she has been doing these fittings for ten years, so nothing was weird to her! We tried a few different sizes and bras, and I asked if we could possibly go up one size from what she'd measured- which I know sounds rude- but it ended up actually working super well and I went with this one! It's PRICEY. This lil bra was $131. BUT- I do think you pay for the experience too. Megan was professional, didn't feel "fake customer service nice" to me, and I really appreciated that she let me try a size up from initial measurements. Check out is a little awkward when you don't know if you're totally done with your sales girl or not- I walked out and went to the register and was like, should I be connecting with Megan instead? lol- but I think this awkwardness is simply due to my lack of experience with shopping for fancyass personal items such as this.
