Instead, the final result was a total disaster that has left me feeling incredibly upset and embarrassed by how my hair looks. This incident occurred near closing time (around 6:00 PM) with the associate assigned to the front door preparing for store close. I was looking for a product that was not available on the shelf. After receiving no assistance, I opened a bottom drawer to retrieve the item. The associate immediately approached, forcefully kicked the drawer shut, and reprimanded me in a condescending and demeaning manner. I was made to feel embarrassed and unwelcome rather than helped. This behavior was unprofessional and reflects a serious lack of training and leadership. No customer should be shamed in a retail environment for attempting to complete a purchase. I spent over $150 during this visit and have been a loyal Sephora customer since 2011. Experiences like this are exactly why long-term customers choose to stop shopping in-store. I will not be returning to this location and will opt for delivery or another store instead.
