Went to go get a nebulizer + saline for my sick 10 month old. They had the nebulizer but not the saline initially. Said they'd have to order it. Then they took the time to find the saline in the store. It wouldn't fit through the drive through window so instead of having me come in with my sick child, he ran it out to my car in the parking lot. Wasn't expecting this level of problem solving but super happy with my experience. read more

First off all I waited 20 mnts to get speak to the pharmacy, the pharmacist answered I explained that they had charged me $17.39 for 2 vitamins. Did not notice till I arrived at my home there wore only 2. I immediately contacted Wallgreens and the pharmacist told me she couldn't take it back because it had left the store. Are they kidding I can purchase 50 for less than that. Then she tells me not to get upset and hung up on me. Very professional time to move to CVS I will not be going there anymore, so that's about sometimes $1,000 a month there lost. there's a CVS right down the street from me, I don't need to deal with people on a power trip that's the female pharmacist. During my visit, I underwent a test for Influenza, and upon testing positive, I engaged with the pharmacist on duty (who identified herself as Carly but declined to provide her full name, which is very unprofessional coming from a 'Doctor'). I requested an assessment for treatment, referencing the information on the Walgreens website indicating that such assessments are available for a fee of $50. To my surprise, she informed me that assessments and treatment prescriptions were not provided, despite my attempts to show her the relevant information from the website. Regrettably, I found her demeanor to be unprofessional and her attitude unnecessarily dismissive throughout our interaction. I believe it is important for Walgreens to ensure consistency between advertised services and the services actually provided at your stores. read more

I used to think Walgreens was the best place to get prescriptions filled but in the past year my opinion has totally changed. The pharmacy is ridiculously slow. They are as minimally helpful as they can be. They tell you your prescription will be ready by a certain time and it is always at least an hour later. Then, if I call, the automated voice says they don't have anything in my name. Then, magically, in 5 minutes, I get a text that it is ready. Seriously-I dropped off the scrip so I know they have it. I would give this particular Walgreens a ZERO if I could and a ZERO to Walgreens Corporate for the way it allows this store to be managed. As one reviewer noted, this Walgreens is horrible for filling Rx's, customer service and professionalism. I have had many issues with the pharmacy department over the past year - unfortunately my insurance was married to Walgreens but we'll be getting a divorce in the New Year - and the latest incident mirrors the problem another reviewer had because the pharmacy department was closed for 5 days. That Walgreens would allow this is unacceptable. This is playing with people's health and well-being. I was trying to get a Rx transferred to another pharmacy. The receiving pharmacy tried for 2 days to make contact with Walgreens to no avail. Now we know why they couldn't. I went in person to this Walgreens today to find out what was the hold up. In my instance, the Walgreens pharmacist told me the pharmacy department had been closed for 2 days because of a staff shortage and he had 400 Rx's to catch up on. That, too, is unacceptable and I hope the previous reviewer was finally able to get his medication without suffering any physical harm. Of course, Walgreens will probably cite the "COVID defense." However, we're talking about the 2nd largest drug chain in the country, with almost 9,000 stores nationwide. COVID is not something new, will be with us for the foreseeable future and it seems inconceivable that Walgreens would not have an emergency plan in place to move personnel around from other stores to avoid pharmacy closures. If you were on your death bed waiting for a prescription, just pass away. I've had the worst sinus infection, and cough. My doctor sent in my prescription Thursday afternoon, around 12:15, called around 3:00 to see if I could pick it up and the pharmacy couldn't find the prescription, told me to call my doctor and just hung up. Called back and a new person found it, but said they were waiting on one and to wait until tomorrow morning because they are closing soon and don't have it to fill. Next day, called at 10:00, same excuse were still filling your nasal spray. 12:00, spoke with Oneika, we're working on it still, we have to fill it. why is it taking 24 hours to fill a nasal spray that comes prefilled? They should be ashamed at this location, the company needs to hire reps that actually want to have a job. read more

This review is about the Walgreens at 399 N Congress Ave in Boynton Beach Florida. I just picked up medication that this Walgreens alerted me that my meds was ready for pickup. Since it's only a few blocks from house, i thought it was be nice to get some exercise, fresh air....and drive my bike there. I decided to drive up at the drive through widow. I had all my personal credentials ready to prove who I was....which had done multiple times in the past at that same Walgreens drive through widow. The actual Pharmacist came up to the widow and before I could make my pickup request and she told me that they could NOT serve me at the window on a bike for medication pickup...my meds! Okay I respected her demand and came inside to pick up MY meds without issues. And she seemed to be having a bad day because of her unfriendly nature and delivery method. The reason for my bad review you might ask....I think it was so inconsiderate and inconvenient for me to be turned away from the drive through pickup window! Especially, when I was only trying to get exercise for my health issues ...high blood pressure and cancer to name a few challenges I'm dealing with. And I mainly drive my bike so I can be healthier and conveniently pick up my MEDICATIONS just like any other vehicle driver!! Plus... you can clearly see all of me unlike a person in a car and clearly see that I was no threat!! If this is your policy, then it needs to be clearly posted at the window or on your website. Store #4176 I relocated to Chicago from Florida a year ago and this particular Walgreens is horrible for filling prescriptions, customer service and professionalism. At this point, I'm moving my business to CVS. EVERY MONTH my prescription either gets lost via fax or I'm waiting online for more than 39 minutes to speak to someone. Every month it feels like I'm chasing my prescriptions which I urgently need. From mixing up my doctors to screwing my date of birth on my prescriptions. I was on hold today for 32 minutes and was hung up on 4 times. I had to a physical go to the store and found 5-6 people in the back not doing anything with the pharmacist. The pharmacist has asked me for my lease to prove I've moved to Florida. She has the wrong doctor on my medicine that are narcotics. Not only are they not responsive, but the whole time lacks professionalism, customer service and empathy. read more

I have never been treated so poorly by your pharmacist Karly in any Walgreens in my life. I called at 5 pm to check the status of 2 of my prescriptions just to make sure they are available for pickup, I am told they will be ready in 2 hours after 7 pm. I arrive there at 7:30 and am told i cannot pick them up today one is available on December 5 and the other the 7th. Which was the reason i called in the first place to make sure I don't waste my time and drive there for no reason. I begin to walk out of the store when I receive a text saying one of my scripts is ready and then get the Walgreens phone call saying the script is ready. Confused, I walk back to the pharmacy wait in like again and ask a different employee what's going on since I'm getting a text saying that its ready. Before the employee has time to answer the pharmacist Karly SCREAMS loudly from about 15 feet away and says SIR SHE JUST EXPLAINED TO YOU THAT YOUR SCRIPTS ARE NOT READY YET. Which first of all this employee was not the same employee so she did not just explain that to me and all I was coming back to discuss was why I was getting texts and voicemails stating that my script was ready. I asked her why she was being so rude and her answer was " I am simply stating a fact". First of all you do not state facts from 15 feet away in a loud condescending tone. This behavior to me is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable when I took every measure to make sure I wasn't making the trip there for no reason. Let alone be yelled at for asking a question. You need to seriously reevaluate this woman's stability to work in this field, she is clearly unhinged when a confused customer cannot ask simple questions to her staff. read more

Worst wall greens, rude unprofessional pharmacy staff don't even bother scheduling a Covid test here-it took a total of 40 minutes to get my test completed even though I had scheduled it in advance. When I came in to ask if there was anything they could do because I scheduled my appointment 40 minutes prior they told me I just have to wait and were extremely rude and sarcastic. Then when I finally get to the window staff ignored me for another 10 minutes. After being in healthcare for a number of years I can say some people should not choose health care if they lack all empathy for their patients. Some of the pharmacy staff today should strongly consider another line of work, when you're miserable and hate your job it shows and in turn reflects negatively on the corporation. This Walgreens has the worst pharmacy ever. They never pick up the phone. I've been on hold for hours. I went in the store and the pharmacy techs back there were having a blast and no one is in line. I purposely called while I was there to see if my phone was having problems connecting. I am so angry right now. I went to the pharmacy on Thursday to pick up prescriptions. I had already given my information to the pharmacy department prior to having my doctor call in. I am new to this pharmacy so I knew to do this. When I got there they once again asked for ALL MY INFORMATION. ID, insurance card.. which I gave, my Rx was not correct not their fault but what was their fault was them not giving me back my insurance card. I left without knowing. Here we are 4 days later and I'm am looking for it and it's nowhere to be found. I remember that I gave it to the girl at Walgreens, I call and yes they have it. So WHY WOULD THEY NOT CALL AND LET ME KNOW.. ?? Remember they have my info I gave it TWICE ... I asked the pharmacy manager she responded she will go over that with the staff and discuss the importance. Let me say, I am able to get around and come out to get the card easily. There are a lot of elderly people or disabled people, people without vehicles that make it harder. That not even being the point. How do they not call and say .. we are sorry but WE HAVE YOUR CARD. Lost my COVID vaccine card. Called ahead in advance to see if I could pick up a copy of it from them. They told me yes. Upon arrival lady in pharmacy was extremely rude. She told me, "YOU CAN NOT BE LOSING THESE" and "YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU DON'T LOSE THIS CARD AGAIN", as she slammed her fist on the counter and rolled her eyes. I was a bit taken back that I was getting literally YELLED at by an employee about this. But whatever. A quick google search will tell you that it isn't a big deal to lose a COVID card. She had trouble getting my info pulled up and she mentioned this again. For a third time... she told me I need to be more responsible. This time she added that I was "wasting her time and I was taking time away from the patience's". First of all, I have never lost my card before this. This was the first time. Second, I don't need a life lesson. Mistakes happen. I work a real job traveling and I misplaced my card. After rolling her eyes a handful of times and asking for my birth day 4 different times... she finally got it pulled up. Then she proceeds to tell me that there is no card on file. After rolling her eyes AGAIN when I tell her they confirmed they have my card on file when I called, she told me "THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO. YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO CALL THE FL DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH". I knew this was a lie. Walgreens is legally required to keep all data like that on file. I then went to another Walgreens down the street. Guy printed my card there told me that it is super easy. He explained to me that it should be a 2 second process. Here's why I will not be going to Walgreens in the future. Learn how to treat people. I don't care if you are having a rough day. If I treated people like that at my job, I would be fired immediately. Learn how to do your job and most importantly.... Learn some respect. Absolutely the worst experiences ever! And it is every single time. They never email the correct information, they keep sending me emails about a prescription that I filled weeks ago, and it is literally impossible to get in touch with the pharmacy by phone. I must get in the car and drive there. And waiting outside by the drive thru is grueling. They ignore you. So sometimes I actually call the store manager while I am in the car and remind them that there are 4 cars waiting for drive thru service. And the pharmacy people already see us! If you do ask to speak to a manager, make sure you ask if they are the manager, because they say they are but they aren't. So you have to park the car, get out and get on line in the store. They never send messages anymore that the prescriptions are ready and send other messages that are incorrect. I call the doctor to tell them to send the prescription and they say that they sent it twice! It is such an awful nightmare. read more

I wish there were a way to leave negative stars but I don't think even a negative number exists that's low enough to rate this pharmacy. The way the people who work at this pharmacy treat their guests is nothing short of malicious. I have been going to this pharmacy for nearly 2 & a half years & I have never not once had an even close-to decent experience. Every time you call this pharmacy you can expect a 45 minute hold & when someone finally does answer, they treat you as if you're yelling at them & they start getting extremely defensive even when you're just asking a question about your medication. Pharmacists are supposed to be people you can trust. It is not uncommon for people to take medication every single day. So uncommon that I even take 2 different medications every single day. These medications are the reason I am surviving. You'd think the people providing them to me would treat me like they care considering they're technically saving my life each month & I definitely treat them like heroes for doing so. I do not understand why everyone who works at this pharmacy is so unprofessional & so angry & rude but I cannot wait to move out of Boynton Beach so I can get my medication elsewhere. I wish that I could put zero stars for the Pharmacy. I have had nothing but issues with not only this location, but every one that I've ever been to. They are so unbelievably understaffed, the employees have even told me that the computer system is extremely slow, but that's obvious. For the largest pharmacy in the country, it's just amazing to me that they can't hire a decent staff to get the workload complete or hire people who aren't unreasonably rude. Amber is one of the technicians there and she's been nice in the past, but the last few times I've been in there she has been so unbelievably rude to me. I am in management myself and not only would I never allow one of my employees to talk to anyone the way she talks to me without firing them on the spot, but personally, I would never speak to anyone the way she speaks to me. But it's not just her. I have called corporate and spoken to the manager of the store twice about Amber's unprofessional demeanor and there has not been any change whatsoever. The only reason I even will allow myself to walk into a Walgreens is because my insurance only works with this company. When I change insurance, I will be so pleased to never have to walk into a Walgreens for the rest of my life. read more
