Walgreens in Boutte, LA advertises the closing time on Friday as 10:00 p.m., not before 10:00 p.m. Customers that walk up prior to 10:00 p.m. should be allowed in to shop. Since the doors are closed prior to 10:00 p.m. I'll assume that that this location is permanently closed. Unfortunately, this is not the first incident at this Walgreens. Previously, the store didn't open the doors after 8:00 a.m. when their open time is 8:00 a.m. Fortunately, customers have a choice to shop at other stores such as CVS. read more

The pharmacy is horrible! They are slow, never answer the phone. I had a medicine recalled and I have been on hold for twenty minutes waiting to speak to the pharmacist, I actually drove to the pharmacy while on hold and guess what they wasn't even busy! I guess the pick and choose who they want to answer the phone for. Pharmacy sucks!! I always have issues here! I will be switching to a new pharmacy! read more

Cynthia at the window was extremely rude when filling my mothers medicine. She complained about needing a DEA number from the doctor (acted as if it were some top secret number ) the doctor got on the phone and said all they needed was the number over the phone and it was nothing special AND WE DIDN'T NEED TO COME BACK . They simply didn't want to take the time to speak to the provider over the phone and get the number . Made us drive all the way back to the emergency room which was 15 mins while my mothers in pain to get the DEA number and the doctor simply wrote it IN BLACK INK ON THE PRESCRIPTION PAPER ! Even said when I got back to the hospital that they could have just called the number isn't anything special or secret and they are being ridiculous. The demeanor of the pharmacy tech CYNTHIA was beyond disrespectful. She threw my debit card in the bag instead of handing it back to me as well .. I will not be returning to this walgreens pharmacy . read more

This pharmacy has the rudest staff I have ever encountered. They have lied to me, been rude to me in person and over the phone, and have even make accusations describing me as being "one of the many abusers" in the area. They refuse to work with me when I try to fill a prescription one day earlier (which is the policy). They rudely tell you that they have the right to make the rules. My doctor's office has also had to get involve with them and fight to get my prescriptions. Today - the agent told me wrong information twice! They tried telling me that February had 30 days in the month (it has 28). read more

This location is constantly being robbed. What's worse is management & employees say they can't do anything because there isn't anyone usually at the front of the store to stop the thieves from stealing anything. They say SCSO can't do anything because by the time they arrive, the suspect is long gone. I had to get a vaccination. Waited over 30 minutes for service. My insurance paid for the shot, which was good.

Every time I go here I'm greeted with a warm hello. Ms. Irma keeps the drinks I buy every week in the fridge because she knows I like them cold. All the ladies are so nice. RX is filled quickly and the place is always clean. I drive past a Majoria's and a CVS to go here. read more
