During my 4 nights in Metairie, Louisiana, I found myself shopping like a local at this Circle K…read moregas station market. Something simple. It was in walking distance from my hotel, the Quality Inn - Metairie, so I was wandering past the Holiday Inn hotel next door. I shopped here twice for snacks and drinks since my hotel didn't really provide anything. Shopping like a local and on a budget is a real thing and thankful that this Circle K gas station was here for me. On both experiences here at the Circle K, I browsed the aisles and settled on bottled soda and light snacks that they had. They also sold lottery tickets, but declined to purchase any. Both purchases were around $10 or so each time and it was adequate for me. It reminded me of typical fast food conveniences that gas stations typically provide. Cold drinks, beer, and fast food conveniences that most people grab and go while out and about and passing thru. I don't know how late they close or if they're 24 hours, but it was nice that they were open when I was there (before 9pm weekdays nights). The service at the check out counter was good and fast since it is a convenience store attached to a gas station. The store itself was clean and easy to find stuff when you're looking for specific items. For me, it was clear. Just food that would help with my budget while I was traveling. The convenience store wasn't large but it was adequate enough to stock the main items that most people come in to shop for. It's at a favorable location since many people love to stop and grab food, drinks, and gas as they travel to and from their destination of choice. I was glad that they were here and in walking distance so I didn't have to take an uber to grab basic snacks for my stay in Metairie. The overall experience here at this Circle K convenience store / gas station was cool and nice. Reminds me of the original movie Bill & Ted when they are at a Circle K at the beginning of the movie. Nothing really special that happened here. Just buy and purchase, and then leave. The lady at the counter was nice and explained to me that lottery tickets were cash or debit card only. Maybe it was a sign that I shouldn't be spending money on them. For the most part though, my time here at the Circle K convenience store was spent buying essentials and dreaming of buying lottery tickets. Most of the items you find here are daily essential that you'd find anywhere else in the country. And they are priced competitively for your budgeting dollar. Sometimes they have meal deals and other times, they just have discounted things to make money. All in all, it's a good thing for the customers that come thru the area. The ambiance was good and they had air conditioning here. Not sure about WiFi, since it was definitely a quick experience, I didn't have to try at all to configure that. And so, if you are cruising by or staying at the Quality Inn or Holiday Inn next door and need an affordable snack, walk over to the Circle K for your fix. It's likely to be cheaper than what the hotels are serving up. Hidden gem in the area, if you're passing thru on the I-10 on the way to or from Orleans. While it is just a Circle K, I recommend it. Get your lottery tickets too, if you're of age to play. This Circle K convenience store / gas station is located at 2209 N Causeway Blvd in Metairie, Louisiana. Next door is the Holiday Inn and the Quality Inn is just around the corner. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, they have some generous parking spots, including the spaces where you can park to pump your gasoline and diesel. If you're the type who loves public transportation, consider the routes you need to get here from your original location. And of course, there's always uber and Lyft to get you here at your convenience. For the most part though, it was nice to have this Circle K gas station and convenience store within walking distance from hotel - Quality Inn - Metairie. They have what you want at affordable prices on everyday items you usually crave while at work, on the road, and at home. If you're ever in Metairie Louisiana and don't have the time to go to the French Quarter or any other part of the New Orleans metro area, consider coming here to Metairie for your daily dose of lottery tickets and your junk food fix. Remember that they take cash or debit card for lottery tickets here. Circle K is a great option for those who love to road trip, even in Louisiana. Definitely a hidden gem for those who drive the open road and stop off here in Metairie. Come on down, they'll be glad to see you. I'd definitely recommend coming here if you're passing thru the area or staying the night nearby. 5.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! A+

I know this place to be a meet up spot and a landmark; trust me, I've used it as such several times. I find the gas prices to be a little below the average, which is great, great, great. I use this location as a gauge for other EXXON stations. Going inside the convenience store, one can definitely find something to tickle their fancy. Lots of snack and drink choices. Friendly staff within, always a plus. I like the TV screen that plays while you're fueling up; way cool.

It is always difficult to review gas stations since they all serve pretty much the same purpose…read more When I do review them I try and focus on what makes each station special. For this station, there are several specialties. Location - This station has the primo location at the intersection of Veterans and Causeway Blvd. If you're headed north, this station is always less crowded than the ones closer to the bridge. Bathroom - While not the cleanest, this station's inside, including bathroom, are open 24 hours a day. It is a great spot to use the facilities before that long drive north. Pumps - There are plenty Car Wash - This is one of the few stations to still have a stand alone wash. In closing, if you are headed to the Northsore and need to fuel up, pee or get your car washed, this is the place for you.
