I came here super excited about the sale today (50-75% off) plus an additional 40% off if you get the emails but that excitement was quickly deflated. Customers are normally greeted by staff that have bubbly personalities upon entering the store and today everyone at this location was a Debbie Downer. The greeter was greet-less (so made that up just now), she was also very unhelpful, no up-selling or suggestive selling which normally sucks me right in. I shared my displeasure with the cashier and asked for the manager, sadly, she, the cashier was the manager, Maya. She told me that she's sick today, which I guess explains the poor customer service (side eye). I suggested that she should've stayed home. She apologized but this has been the most disappointing visit ever at any BBW. I've just spent $80 and feel most unappreciated as a soap and lotion connoisseur (hardly lol) but next time, like many times before, I'll take a trip to Elmwood because I've never had any issues there; it's also a storefront as opposed to this one being in the mall.

Goods That Matter is brick & mortar store and fully open & here to stay…read more Love this shop ~ all in the name of positive & enjoying purchasing a quality product that helps others ~ huge causes ~ not only in Louisiana but overseas like the recent devasting earthquakes in Turkey/Syria and Morocco ~ All their products are made from biodegrable & upcycle materials as with their candles in sturdy glass jar one would certainly wish to keep for other uses. I purchased their Jasmine Candle & already used it when we had a power outage ~ beautiful scent of jasmine filled the house & reminded me to remember those of Türkiye/Syria whom still are struggling, some live in tents, but not everyone & some still living in leftover ruins of their earthquake ravaged countries ~ Goods That Matter does a great job of packing their items for shipping & mine arrived im perfect condition. Highly suggest for a modest amount the 'purchase' of the Bald Cypress Tree for replanting the sadly deteriorated Lousiana Coastline by extreme Bald Cypress lumber harvesting for sale throughout the past couple hundred years. The Bald Cypress Tree is was like the arms holding the swampland together. The coastline retreated leaving ravaging deterioration of towns cities homes to countless swamp life animals when hurricanes hit over the last century and a half. Replanting the Bayou. Tha Louisiana Coastline was much much more expansive / wider. After Katrina, ancient grove of Bald Cypress was revealed hundreds of feet underwater. Trees are millions of years old!!! Entire Southern Seaboard once started much further north around states as Arkansas Georgia & The Bald Cypress with its ability to grow in saltwater made it possible as millenia went by for build up of 'land' from various decompositions of various geological formations inputing a new 'floor' that would become 'solid' land in many places but the lacey netwotk of the Bayous would still skirt the Southern coastlines. Bald Cypress needs to be restored to build the Louisiana coastline. A very thougtful store ~ Indeed Goods That Matter

I found Essentially NOLA in New Orleans, LA. and brought their Products to California and send them…read moreto my friends whenever possible who LOVE them too! These are the greatest All Natural, Organic (well 90% organic) products I've found for my face in years and years. At 51 my face is soft and smooth and soo youthful feeling and feels wonderful under my makeup. Rinsing everything off at night with a very simple 2 step process and finishing with a light argan oil moisturizer may sound different, but has been perfect for my minor crows feet and other developing wrinkles. Essentially NOLA has a 4 product sampler set of cleanser, toner, moisturizer and chocolate mask YUM for $15 that will last you at least a couple weeks to test out the products, and then full size kits that run only $40 with FREE Shipping. The Full size Kit will last me months and months. Night time special anti-aging moisturizers used to cost me at least $40+ just for 1 bottle. I'm Truly just a new customer of Christine's that has come to love her ALL natural products and want to spread the word!! She has much, much more on her website. Try her sampler collection for a couple weeks. The sample size bottles are a bit harder to use than the more standard size bottles. They're travel size! But well worth the effort.

I went back home to Oregon and I bought more online to give as gifts for friends in CA. The product is great, the customer support is great. I have nothing bad today about Essentially NOLA. Thanks for the great products and great smells!
