What in the tornado is going on here? This location looks horrible!!! I know that there's construction going on but that's outside and in no way shape, or form, SHOULD IT look like it's leading inside! Sheesh The shelves looked pretty empty, everything was unorganized and the vibes were entirely off as they gave war zone vibes! This is not Bloomington Mn , it identified more as Vietnams war zone! The parking lot was all chopped up coming into this location. I was praying that it didn't ruin the rental vehicle, yes that's how bad it was! I stopped in for a Birthday card and a quick pregift but I became so irritated in here, that I left with hand lotion and sanitizer wipes since this store gave me dry lips and made me want to sanitize everything walking out! Get it together district or whomever is in charge of this location! This is unacceptable for the Walgreens brand and I'm here to give honest opinions and reviews so... there you have it!!! The staff were nice as they laughed with me at my feedback and opinion but they did their best to back it up.... so they are loyal... keep them! Great job guys for having your companies back and for letting me know that, I no longer needed to hold on to my pearls and purse tightly! HA All staff deserve a raise and 7 months off with pay as well as, a paid vacation while you marketing and district manager team, clean up this store and make it great! This Walgreens is next door to a Caribou Coffee where I had a poor experience with a barista. I have eased my way back to going there to get an iced beverage. Said barista still works there. I've only had him once and he has stopped hogging the payment machine. I have always passed by this Walgreens. I decided to drop by a few times while I stayed in Bloomington. There is always lots of parking in this plaza. I had no problem backing into a spot and heading inside the store. If you like plush toys, you must visit this store. It has a ton of Squishmallows. I ended up getting a box of four Squishmallows plush ornaments and a few other plushies, including Danny the dinosaur sporting the cutest bowtie. So adorable! I have bought snacks and pop from this drugstore. This store has an impressive selection of mini pop flavours. It was my first time seeing Pepsi Peeps as a flavour. There tends to always be a deal on pop, from cans to plastic bottles. The popcorn varieties are terrific. I like the SmartPop popcorn. It tends to go on sale often. On my recent trip in October, I ended up catching a cold and being congested. I got nasal spray here, which was highly effective. I also got cold medication that helped a lot. I was there in time to see Halloween items. There was a ton of candy. The light-up necklaces were cool to test out. If you own an electric toothbrush, there was a sale on for replacement brushes. It was a good sign. Staff here are pleasant and nice. I have Walgreens rewards, so I always enter my phone number on the touchpad. I have been able to redeem points for discounts, to save a bit on purchases. It's a decent Walgreens. I'm so glad that I can finally say that I've dropped by more than once. (421) read more

This Walgreens is like a small town pharmacy. I'm always greeted by name when I arrive. Alex, John and Dan are an amazing team. They are super busy but always have time for a kind word. I also know with Alex in charge that all my prescriptions are compatible. I think the pharmacist knows more about my medications than my doctor!! There are too many new ones for my doctor to keep track of. I am thankful that I have such a great pharmacy just a half a mile from home. read more

The drug store is conveniently next door to Target off of American Blvd in Bloomington. I needed to pick up a few toiletries and instead of going to Target, I chose Walgreens due to the parking lot location. The store was clean, well stocked, and had great prices discounted at an agreeable amount. A clerk even opened up another register when he saw 3 of us behind each other, provided me a 10 dollar discount due to my cash rewards, and pleasantly wished me a great day. read more

I think this location needs new management. The store manager is awesome but its "Leadership" needs to go. They are down-right disrespectful of not only customers (and it is BAD), but to their OWN EMPLOYEES! I do not know how these managers or whatever think that they will be able to keep their store open with all of the customer complaints that have been filed. The pharmacy staff is pretty great compared to others, some cashiers (most are new, so what does THAT say?) are fabulous. However, shift management is absolutely terrible. Why would you yell at a NEW cashier in front of customers for making a mistake? What makes it okay to make fun of new floor staff for not knowing where a product is? Walgreens, you SERIOUSLY need to do better. I will be going to CVS from now on. Please invest in your staff and stop treating them/allowing them to be treated like garbage. There is a reason that no one with other opportunities stays at this store. Maybe do an investigation because CLEARLY this is a problem. I like seeing the same faces when I go into the store. This doesn't happen because people keep quitting over low wage/customer and managing staff harassment and abuse/not being recognized for ACTUALLY HELPING customers. I got there before 6pm but there There was a line of cars. Everyone got helped except me, I could see them being handed their prescriptions. They said it was because it was after six however I know it was after six for the other four cars as well but they got their medications. Aria was the supposed manager on duty. She refused to tell me the name of the pharmacist on duty. She was zero help. She was unprofessional. Clearly they just wanted to leave for the day even though I was the last car. They need to treat all customers equally and fairly. I left work early to get there and I made it on time but for some reason I was punished! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!! Worst service ever. The Walgreens on Portland is terrible. Made an emergency run to get an over-the-counter medication for my wife. When I went to checkout, the man behind the register was fiddling with plastic bags. He told me I'd have to wait because the customer before me had to run to his car to get another credit card. When the customer came back in, his card wouldn't read. Then it was my turn. My debit card also wouldn't read after several attempts. When I told the man behind the counter that obviously the card reader wasn't working, he snarked at me saying, "Well I've heard bad things about the customers here!" Stay away! read more

The pharmacy is just going down hill. There's one guy who works there who is amazing! He used to have blonde hair but now has brown. I never know his name but he's great. The rest of them need customer service classes and to learn to speak better to people. The pharmacy cut its hours during the pandemic and it creates quite a bit of congestion. Thinking about transferring my meds to a different location because the hours are impossible to meet for pickup. read more

If you suffer a peppermint addiction as I do, then Walgreen's is the place to feed it. Yes, they have pharmaceuticals and all, which I don't really buy. They do have good deals on things that fix what ails you, I can say. As I've said, you'll find me in the candy aisle buying way too many bags of peppermints. Don't get pep-o-mint lifesavers. Today I switched back to Walgreens because the staff at another big pharma chain were kind of grumpy and I had to drive to undesirable locations to find availability of my prescription. Ok, I didn't want to give it 1 star, but it wouldn't let me post without it. Our experience was not even that. My son went to get his prescription filled on Tues March 22nd and they first said it would be $15-20 when I asked if they had an idea how much it would cost. They were telling me that's how much "time" it would be, we go back after they texted him and they "rudely"said, "We tried to call you and text you and you didn't answer." We did come after the text and there were no calls, like they say. Then they say, "we have to get approval through ins." Ok, then we ask how long, they said 45 min, so we wait 45min and then they proceed to tell us that, no it would be at least 3-5 days before ins. gets back to them. He JUST NOW, went in himself and asked about it, 6 days later and there it sat. He asked when it was ready for pickup and the gentleman there said it was ready on Weds last week. This was an important medicine and they MADE my son wait on it. They are LUCKY nothing happened to my son while his medicine sat on the shelf for 5 days with him being without. NEVER GO HERE FOR MEDS AGAIN. Watch yourself. NOT to mention how they acted towards him/us when trying to fill it. They have no room to judge ANYBODY, they do not know us. I hope corporate reads this and has a word with these "ladies" that worked that day. read more
