We've been here for 20 years putting up with Walgreens because they are close and take Tricare. We finally quit them today after we woke up, HAD ENUFF. This is undeniably the lousiest pharmacy and drive up ever in our lives. I had occasion to be waiting in line indoors at the window for 20 minutes one evening and got to hear closeup first hand Walgreen traffic handling manners... their manners for the driveup customers... it was ugly and insensitive, the woman at the window should be out cleaning septic tanks, and the customer service sequence should be shown as a bad example in Marketing 101. Meanwhile the clerks trying to find scripts to hand out didn't have a clue where to look because they were never in the same place... it was a mad house... and it WASN'T real busy. UNORGANIZED. NO TALENT. Wonder what the employee turn over is, that should be a clue to somebody. Time to leave. They need a professional hatchet man to clean that place out top to bottom. An organizer to go in there and organize that place, it is a mess. What woke me up to quit Walgreens... when I was accused of being rude to their help over the phone.... when I was simply asking if 4 hours isn't long enough to pop 14 pills in a bottle, when should I return... they said they didn't care when I returned... and then when I returned, some she jerk gets on the speaker box and thought she was going to realign my butt instead of apologizing... thank you God for the 40 years of military training so I could demonstrate problem solving skills that I had learned, except for my limited vocabulary; but therer was sufficient volume so all nearby could benefit from the learning experience. Sorry, never again Walgreens, your brand of pill pushing done wore me out. But what I did notice by the above anecdote, they don't have time to handle scrips, but they have time to write little "this customer is service oriented" notes so they can insult him and threaten continuation of further service when he picks up. I should have immediately left, but with a spouse in pain in assisted living, I picked it up and then did the right thing and stopped at CVS on the way home. Let me give them an atta boy, THE ABSOLUTE BEST CANDY SELECTION AND CANDY PRICES IN TOWN AND FRIENDLY PERSONABLE FOLKS IN THE REST OF THE STORE. PHARMACY... YOU GET THE MESSAGE... WAKE UP. read more

I would recommend anywhere but here. I have been attempting to get a prescription filled for days. Every time I call I'm told something different and today when I reviewed the contradicting information that's been provided with the person on the phone and politely but firmly insist they should all be providing accurate assistance they disconnected the call. I did not curse or yell. I simply insisted they should be able to accomplish this task. Based on the response, or lack there of, I must assume they are not prepared to do this. read more

Made an appointment online to get my Covid booster at this Walgreens. I am a retired veteran who uses the VA for all my medical needs. I do not have any major medical insurance except for the VA and Medicare. The pharmacy tech there, Rachel Reeves, refused to give me the booster because I did not have conventional insurance. I explained to her my circumstances and that I have already received boosters on two other occasions at CVS with the same documentation I provided to her. She still refused and told me to go to CVS instead. I have already made a new appointment at CVS with the assurance from them that I will have no problem receiving the booster there. I do not recommend this Walgreens, and will no longer do business there. read more

Had to buy 20 bags of ice in a pinch and I didn't feel like going too far out of Bella Vista. Stopped by Walgreens to see if they even sold ice and was surprised to find they do! Only 5 bags were available in the freezer (which is completely understandable given the size of the store) but again I needed 20. As I pushed my shopping cart of 5 bags up to the register, the manager noticed me and asked if I needed any more. To my surprise not only did they have more, but he stopped what he was doing, got a large push cart, and loaded up the remaining 15 bags I needed. After I checked out, the manager brought the bags out to my car and helped me load them in the back- a full service Walgreens! All in all, I was very impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff. Thank you! read more

I didn't need to use the pharmacy but was shopping here today. The language and attitude of the employee named Katie toward her fellow workers was over the top condescending and extremely rude. I was taken aback to hear an employee talk that way to a fellow employee especially in front of customers. read more

Worst Walgreens I've ever been to and continues to prove it. Routinely tell me my prescriptions are ready when they are not. Yesterday I went in on a prescription that was supposed to be filled and it wasn't ready. I sat down for an hour until finally asking what's the problem? Something to do with the printer, so I left and came back today at noon and guess what? No change. They hadn't done anything. This time I was in the drive through and ended up having to wait another hour. When I finally got it, they left one of the two out. I left because I figured if I brought it up, I'd be there until nightfall. I'll never go back and my advice to fellow Bella Vista people is to save yourself some time and drive to another town or skip Walgreens all together. read more

Had an immunization appointment for my daughter. After an hour of waiting, and asking when we might be seen, the pharmacist simply said "it's on the list. I just haven't gotten to it yet." No apologies for the wait. This is our third similar experience like this, and I'm unsure why appointments are made when they are seemingly meaningless. Incredibly understaffed. Avoid it like the plague, but for simple vaccines it's the only available on the weekends. read more

Called for the pharmacy to transfer a Covid RX from another pharmacy that did not have this particular RX. Attendant informed me the other pharmacy had to call them with the RX that they did have. Called the other pharmacy and informed them I was told they had to call Walgreens to transfer it. No Walgreens is to call them to transfer it. Time was lost - the other pharmacy closed while I played phone ping pong between the 2 pharmacies. I informed this Walgreens that it is always standard to call the other pharmacy to receive an RX transfer. Unprofessional error. I had Mercy send a new RX to Walgreens all this effort was lost in time, as Walgreens then closed sharply at 8pm with my husband there waiting. It would be nice if Chic-fila trained Walgreens pharmacy personal in Bella Vista. Besides being of an unprofessional disservice they do it with a snide attitude. Their ratings are sinking due to all the above. read more

Today the manager was everywhere. We were waiting around for the pharmacy to finish a script. Manager while training another manager asks if we need help. Nope but thank you. Great. They call our name we go over and wait in the line. They're backed up and call for help. Here comes the manager. He gives us our pick up and we go on our way. Goto the front of the store there's a line (I see three aka I need help) same manager training another manager checking out in the pharmacy runs up with the assist as he's pushing carts in from outside. Seriously customer service. Helping employees etc. and everyone else who works there are amazing and sweet. I have a favorite gal who always helpful and sweet. The sales associates are helpful and great you promptly when you walk in. The pharmacy staff is amazing and so helpful. They go above and beyond to help out their customers. Our insurance didn't cover a prescription for our son and the pharmacist went online and found a bunch of coupons to lower the price for us. It was something we needed to have and had to pay whatever price and she went out of her way to help us. It about made me cry. Thank you read more

Walked in at 1:30 on a Saturday to get flu shots. The people giving the flu shot said we are leaving on break and we'd have to wait until they got back and walked out. Terrible customer service. First you couldn't wait five minutes to help. Second you all had to go at once. No worries we left and went to CVS in and out in less than 10 minutes. read more

The BV pharmacy has real issues. They've made so many mistakes on my orders that I can't trust them anymore. They even gave me a opened bottle of 13 pills instead of the 20 ordered (and the mfg. bottle clearly states "reject bottle if open". I called and they told me to swing by the drive through to pick up the extra 7 pills. Excuse me?? Swing by the drive through? Uh, no. I've spoken to Kevin Spradley, the store manager as well as the DM Ryan in Tulsa about the multiple issues I've had trying to fill prescriptions there. One of the employees at the BV store even called their own programers 'idiots who don't know what they are doing'. I love Walgreen's but will be moving all my business to the Bentonville store once it opens. I could go on for paragraphs about my dealings with them, but the one star rating is too high for them. read more
