This is definitely the best Sephora store in NWA to go to for makeup and beauty products! It is a stand alone store and located in the Pinnacle Mall. It is huge and well stocked but ALWAYS busy with long lines (so be prepared to wait and deal with crowds)! However, this is the only Sephora I will go to b/c of the great selection and samples/testers. I have had bad luck at all the other Sephora stores inside of Kohls and JcPennys with barely any stock and never any of the promo items and birthday gifts but this one is great. What a fun store! This location has a great selection of brands and products which you are welcome to try and test. They have products at all different price points too. There are actually quite a few great buys in the Sephora line. I recently ended up with a sample of a Sephora lipstain and was so impressed that I ordered it in three more colors! One of my favorite things here is that they will make you samples of various products. You don't know how many bottles of perfume I've bought after being able to try a sample for a few days! Same with makeup. I am much more likely to invest in new products after using them for a few days. Make sure you join their Beauty Insider for special bonuses. Let me preface this with I do love Sephora as a whole (this review is about some worker lady). My friend and I went on Oct. 28th for the Beauty Inside event. We were standing there and I decide to open up a concealer my friend was already going to buy. I was just looking at it and this worker lady came over and was so rude about me opening up the package. I told her that we were already going to buy it, then she proceeded to inform us that there were testers and if I wanted to try out, I needed to use those. Then she just walked off. Incredibly rude for no reason. If you don't know the situation, then you should ask the person. Not just assume you know your customer is doing. Awful customer service. I had an awful experience from the start. I went to the register for a return and the least pointed at the keypad like I knew what to do. No hi, no can you put your number in the key pad, just points. She assumed I knew how to work everything. She told me I bought my products in 2022 when the products weren't even made yet. She argued with me that I bought it in 2022. And was extremely rude. Customer service isn't for everyone and it was clear it wasn't for her. My experience at Sephora yesterday is a good example of why retail is struggling. I recently had knee surgery and my activities are limited. I thought getting some facial and makeup advice would be a great way to pamper myself! I targeted 4 places to visit. Sephora was one. I tried to make an appointment on-line and the Sephora calendar wouldn't work. I called the store and the guy who answered was very snippy. I was a little shocked at the costs. $75.00 for 75 minutes or free for 20 minutes (but only if I bought $50.00 in product. Ummm...How is that free?) When I questioned the costs, I was told I could walk in the door and "take my chances." So, I walked in the door yesterday and took my chance. And what a horrible experience. The greeter acted like she was doing the world a favor by being there. I was assigned to a woman who had 2-inch fake nails. They were so long that she had to use the nails as pincers to pull product off the shelf. I was bemused watching her struggle to do her job. I wanted to buy three items: a neutral blush, a neutral lipstick, and brown mascara. Since I am not very mobile because of surgery. She parked me near a mirror that happened to be over a trash can. The trash can had never been cleaned and was disgusting. The mirror had no lighting. I was not offered a chair and I had to balance on a cane while I tried products, which I had to personally apply. The blush colors I was shown resembled cotton candy and the type of stuff I purchased, when I was 16, at the dimestore, when I didn't know any better. When I found a blush color that was similar to what I wanted, I was told I couldn't test it. Huh? I am supposed to buy makeup without trying it? No way. We moved on to lipstick. I didn't find what I wanted largely because I couldn't really see in the mirror and the assistant acted like it was a big chore to assist. Mascara? Nothing in brown. The only time the beauty assistant smiled at me was when she acknowledged that she couldn't (wouldn't?) help me. Hmmm... Strange customer service. I walked out of the store empty-handed. I work in television so I spend a good chunk of my paycheck on makeup, skincare, and hair products. Sephora has been my go-to for over ten years now, and the Rogers location never disappoints! The selections here is amazing. There's a variety of brands and products and things are always in stock. I'm used to ordering online or going inside the tiny J.C. Penney stores - so to have a shop this big is such a luxury. I'm not sure if the reviews about customer service are just outdated, but this is one of the best staffs I've ever come across - and I've been in Sephora's all around the country. My favorite employee here is Brandon. He is so knowledgeable about products and goes above and beyond to answer your questions and make sure you're truly getting what you're needing. But every employee has always been incredibly helpful whenever I had specific needs, wanted a sample, or had a question. The location is clean and I love that the samples set out aren't completely destroyed. The store is well taken care of and on top of that, the staff takes care of you too! I'd finally found the routine that works for my skin but 2 things Sephora doesn't carry. So I was looking for guidance in replacing them with their products. One was an eyeshadow that works best as concealer, the other was what I was calling highlighter. I brought in the pots to colour match & said the eyeshadow doesn't have to be eyeshadow because I'd prefer a larger amount because I use it as concealer & I'm not married to the highlighter tone. The rep that was helping me got stuck on it needing to be eyeshadow & the other being a 4 tone palette & got frustrated. Another rep got involved, Julia was the name on the receipt, & introduced me to ILIA Cool Nude palette that was a perfect match for the one colour & a blush topper, that was a combination of the 2 most used tones in my palette, by Haus Labs. She suggested I go to the makers & see if they had single pot replacements if I didn't want the whole ILIA palette. She was really patient with me & took the time to make sure we were speaking the same language. Turns out highlighter & blush topper are 2 different things. I'm the person who calls all tissue Kleenex & all sodas Coke so... I have been trying for the better part of 30 years to find the colours, tone, application & blendability that the ILIA palette has. I've thrown out all the mauves & taupes & garnets in my vanity masquerading as my only options & will be back to discover what else ILIA & Haus Labs have to offer. I kept telling myself that I wouldn't go back in there, and there are certain beauty products that I love from Sephora. However, the staff make it really difficult to even want to go in there at the door, you are immediately greeted with a look of disgust, as if they are judging you from head to toe they make it very obvious instead of just having a good genuine smile on their face and saying welcome to Sephora, the immediately look you up and down then they say it, but their smile is very ingenuine. If you even begin to look at something by yourself, they get very offended they say, can we help you with something but they don't say it in a kind home they say in a very negative tone like why are you even here do you even know what you're doing? What is going on? A lot of times I will just respond with. I appreciate the offer for the help but I'm just gonna look right now because I'm not sure exactly what I'm wanting. I will be harassed by probably at least five or six more people after that. It's weird to me that they have try me stickers on so many different products but as soon as you gotta try it, and you get a disposable device to try it with, someone will come up and tell you that you shouldn't touch that or do you need help with something they act as though you're stealing something when in fact, you're just trying to try something so that way you don't have to return the product. The last time I went in there was a couple days before Christmas and my daughter wanted to get her friends some lipgloss. She needed three of them and so we went up to the checkout area that has like the travel sets and sometimes has trios of lip products and stuff, and we were just looking at the prices. I told her to pay attention to the prices before she picks something out so that way she would know if she could afford it and all we were doing is picking them up looking at them. She was smelling some of them and the lady saw us just walk in. We had nothing in our hands she saw us walk right in New. We weren't ready to check out and blasted her voice over the little shelf and said, can I help you guys are you guys ready to check out? She knew we weren't. She knew we had just walked up to that area. I grabbed my daughters hand because she felt embarrassed because she knew exactly what was going on and I've worked in retail for many years and I know the tricks that they use to try to get people distracted if they think that they're trying to steal and it was clear that's what they were doing. this was the final straw that will keep me out of this for a Rogers location permanently. I really wish they had better attitudes. I really wish they would stop acting like the make up that people try either when it has a Trimi sticker on it, or beauty product is theirs personally, and that we are somehow being inappropriate by trying it. I really wish they would start hiring some more genuine people. Maybe the fact that they hire people who have very large egos is not the best route to go. What's funny is that I know a girl there that is a part of a spiritual program and I thought for sure she would be kind and loving and patient and she is so far from it. It's ridiculous. The reason I felt the need to get on here. It's because I know I've spoken to so many women that go into that store and say how annoyed they are because people follow them around and tell them that they're using the product wrong and that they don't know what they're doing that the shade is too dark or light but they don't do in a kind way. They do it in a very disrespectful like you're an idiot way. They tell me all the time that they order online or they are now grateful that there's a Sephora location inside of Kohl's because now they can go there and not be harassed or disrespected. read more

First bad review I have ever given. Not one person asked me if I needed anything and it was very slow there. I went to get so me of my favorite line of skin care products & was considering some fragrance options by my fav line. It wasn't even like I looked liked a hobo. I was dressed nice, looking at all high end designer stuff and was amazed that nobody asked me if I needed help which I did. I walked out after browsing for 20 mins and then made my purchases at the department store & ULTA beauty. I also saved a lot of money by shopping elsewhere. Go to this place & have fun looking around & then buy you stuff someplace which doesn't overcharge. This place was a total disappointment. I've been to one of their flagship stores and loved it, this was a totally different experience. The girl was touching up her own hair while ideas staring at her waiting for help. Drag!! I have been in here a few times and overall it has been good. I love the selection of items at Sephora and you can always find something you need and want. You can ask for samples and also for application of make-up. I've been to Sephoras all around the country, but the Rogers location is one of the best. They have an excellent selection of products and the store is incredibly clean. There's not trash lying around here and there, the sample make-up isn't dusty and smeared, and their inventory stays stocked. It truly is a pleasure. Also, the lighting in there is excellent! But most of all, I just think the world of the women who work there. It seems like every time I come in with a question, every employee is incredibly well-versed on what works and what doesn't for someone with my skin/hair/style/etc. I've sat down for multiple makeover sessions and have never been disappointed. I'm always clear on what I do and don't like--say they suggest a lip color that looks okay but I'm just not a fan of--and they're incredibly accommodating. Even if I get fussy and say something like, "I love the color of this blush but I'm way too lazy for anything that requires this much work," they'll provide a whole array of alternative options that meet my lifestyle habits. Case in point: I walked in the other day describing a lip color that I've never seemed to find. The only way I could phrase it was, "I want something that makes me look like I've been making out for hours, that really natural flushed pink on your mouth," and one of the girls, Angelica, literally helped me for 20 or 30 minutes just hunting around the store picking out different shades. AND SHE FOUND IT. Amazing. My point is this: If you're someone who's intimidated by places like Sephora because of the expense or expertise, it's worth the effort. The products are superior, and the sales women really know what they're talking about without being pushy and obnoxious. They don't work on commission. I used to be so lazy about makeup that I'd only buy crap at drugstores, and I shudder when I look back on those crappy products. I started shopping at Sephoras about two years ago and I've never regretted it, and like I said, this location is truly one of the best. read more

I scheduled an appointment for my fiancee to have her makeup done for our wedding. First we did a trial run and my fiancee was quite pleased with the results. We worked with Hannah. She was very professional and patient. She worked on any issues my fiancee had with the makeup style, no matter how small, until everything was just right. My only minor complaint is that one of the employees interrupted our session with Hannah to try and sweet talk her way out of store closing duties. Clearly this employee is very young and inexperienced. When we first arrived at the store this same employee was trying to push some really expensive eye cream on my fiancee. It was twice the price of the Clinique eye cream that my fiancee wanted to buy. I understand this girl was just doing her job, but I wish she was as professional as the rest of the Sephora staff. WORST Sephora I have ever been to. I never get greeted and all of the employees- every single one (including the manager)- are so rude. They always think I'm stealing, even though I buy something every single time I go in there. They HATE making samples for you, and act like they have no time to help you. Chemical burns! I went here to get a new skin care line and foundation. I have sensitive skin and cannot use certain chemicals on my skin (alcohol). Firstly, when I walked inside, not a single employee asked me if I needed anything. I had to walk up to someone to ask for help. Secondly, the person who I did walk up to did not help me, only passed me off to two others. The person who helped me with the skin care did do a good job helping me find the right stuff for my dilema. The second person, the makeup person, did not look as if she knew what it meant to look natural. She used rose water to clear off my skin. I asked her if there was any alcohol in it, she said no after checking the ingredients. However, there was witch hazel, which does have alcohol. On top of that, she put a foundation on my face that did not blend well. I asked her if she could blend a bit better, and she tried, and failed. She thought it looked good, I guess beauty in makeup is in the eye of the beholder. She almost immediately gave up when I had told her I didn't like looking washed out, almost ashen. But because of what other ingredients were in the foundation that she put on my face, I now have a horrible chemical burn. I wish they knew more about the products that they sold and advertised. The education person needs to do a better job helping the sales employees know products. It's been a week and I am still looking like lizard queen. Hoping it clears up soon. read more
