I had just purchased a watch that needed to be adjusted, and I needed it sized before a wedding the next day. When I first arrived, the greeter explained that the watch specialists were helping other customers and that, since the store was closing in about 20 minutes, I would probably need to leave the watch until Monday. When I explained that I needed it for a wedding on Sunday, she said, "Give me a second," and went to check. A woman named Donna called me over and said she could help. She was absolutely amazing. Before getting started, she let me know the adjustment would cost $15, which I thought was more than fair. While she was preparing to size the watch, I noticed they had several Omega x Swatch Mission watches on display. As a watch enthusiast, it was really cool to finally see them in person. Donna took the time to show them to me and answer my questions. What I appreciated most was that she never tried to pressure me into buying anything. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. She then adjusted my watch perfectly, and just as she finished, she surprised me by saying she wasn't going to charge me. Instead, she simply asked if I would leave a review. Of course I said yes. Honestly, I'm not someone who regularly leaves reviews, but Donna absolutely earned this one. Everyone I interacted with at Venus Jewelers was welcoming, professional, and kind. Thanks to Donna, I now know exactly where I'll be going for jewelry and watch-related needs in the future, and I'll gladly recommend Venus Jewelers to friends and family. This store on Route 206 in Bedminster is one of my favorite Quick Cheks. It's in a small strip mall with only three other stores, so it's fast to park, run in, and get back onto the road. It's a clean store with friendly staff who keep the inventory well-stocked. The coffee is great and there are always at least 6 varieties, often more. The self-serve milk/sugar station has something for everyone--cows milk in every option of fat content, lactaid, skim plus, soy milk, coffee-mate creamers, and every sugar and sugar-substitute you can think of. It's all very well attended to and wiped down constantly by the hard working staff. There are always good breakfast sandwiches in the warmer in the morning, and other tasty to-go food in the warmer in the afternoon, like empanadas 2 for $4.00. This store gets busy but the cashiers are pros at keeping the line moving.
