Since I drive around central NJ a lot for work, I stop for snacks and coffee regularly at over a dozen different Quick Chek locations. This store on Route 206 in Bedminster is one of my favorite Quick Cheks. It's in a small strip mall with only three other stores, so it's fast to park, run in, and get back onto the road. It's a clean store with friendly staff who keep the inventory well-stocked. The coffee is great and there are always at least 6 varieties, often more. The self-serve milk/sugar station has something for everyone--cows milk in every option of fat content, lactaid, skim plus, soy milk, coffee-mate creamers, and every sugar and sugar-substitute you can think of. It's all very well attended to and wiped down constantly by the hard working staff. There are always good breakfast sandwiches in the warmer in the morning, and other tasty to-go food in the warmer in the afternoon, like empanadas 2 for $4.00. This store gets busy but the cashiers are pros at keeping the line moving. read more

I was in the area a few times and I stopped in for some hot coffee and French vanilla creamer...... This Quick Check is very clean and organized...There have a sandwich counter where they make made to order subs and sandwiches.You can't beat their prices.. If your looking for snacks they have those too.Everything from chips, cookies, cakes, donuts and more... They have a nice variety of coffees from mild to dark roast with speciality flavors that they change according to the season.. I really like that they have a nice selection of coffee creamers, milk, half n half, honey, coco powder, cinnamon etc.. They sell shakes, lattes and all sorts of cold drinks... The staff is very friendly...They will even brew a fresh thermos of coffee if their out.. You just have to ask.. I prefer dark roast and they were only too happy to make it for me.. A major transformation clearly is underway. Their beautiful new locations are so well provisioned and staffed. What a pleasure these new upgraded stores are but they should not forget the established older style stores either that they built the chain around. I still feel the pretzels are not good enough and I know WaWa uses their fantastic pretzels as a loss leader - but they are addictive and I see so many people just there to buy them and everyone unanimously agrees they go out of their way to buy them PLUS the same commodities they would or could buy from QuikChek. I do think the cash register systems in use at WaWa blow away the QuikChek payment process enabling a fast in and out service of many more people. I guess payment is 3-5 times faster, enabling habitual customers to blow in and out comfortably rather than getting stuck waiting for someone to box, pick lottery numbers for 5 minutes while line builds up to 6-8 people in front which makes a new register have to open. read more

If I could give this Quick Chek a rating less than 1 star I would do it.... There is a guy who works there... in one sense he is nice but at the same time he is a lazy ass. He sits mostly behind the coffee area and who knows what he does with his cell phone...play games or watch video games... THere was a new employee there making sandwiches and he didn't help the new employee. The new employee was stuck making multiple orders and you can tell the new employee needed help but that lazy fat ass chose to ignore the new employee because what ever is on the cell phone is more important than helping the new employee especially if you are dealing with customer service... I also observe the other employee was at the register and he had to deal with a line of 6 or 7 people... Wow the management of this Quick Chek should really look at it's employees especially that fat lazy ass while others are working... I would not work there and get treated poorly from another co worker not helping at all...I hope the new employee finds a better place to work not at that Quick Chek... read more

I have been in this store at least 5 days a week (except vacations) since 2015. I get a 44 oz diet coke, not coffee. On Friday 1/18/19 this Quikchek reduced the size of the cup from 44 oz to 40 oz and raised the price by .15! In addition, Quikchek has a rewards program but only for coffee. No discounts if you reuse a cup or anything like similar stores. I am so disappointed/frustrated I am done with Quikchek. you don't treat customers like they are stupid, desparate, or made of money. read more

I come to this quick check regularly, especially when I need to go to work in the morning. Newspapers are required at my job, that as a side note. This quick check never opens at the same time, I'm pretty sure at some point the workers just decide whenever the hell they would like to open the store. I've been at the store in the past where there was 5 to 6 Cara lined up outside of the store waiting for it to open. They still opened like 40 minutes later then they were suppose to. As a new Quick Chek employee i stoped at this one on my way home for a quick lunch the first thought of was soup I look at the menu and they had one soup one chili so I had to wait for the two employees as they were talking to themselves . I then had to say excuse me do you have anymore of this soup he then said no sorry that is all that we have and I said it feels cold and he replied I guess it's off . I then thought as an employee wow we could lose many customers if everyone treated all our customers as that guy did we would loose if not all customers so as the story goes always say yes I will make some more if you have a moment cause you never know who is standing in front of you like another employee read more

Just went in to get a decaf coffee and the grilled chicken with bacon sandwich. Sandwich was made completely wrong (left out tomatoes, bacon and replaced grilled chicken with breaded chicken). Then decaf wasn't even brewed and I would have had to wait a while for a new pot. Didn't have the extra time to hang out and wait for that so left without coffee too. Normally have great service at other locations but this was a big disappointment especially since I was looking forward to the sandwich that I paid more for just to have it made wrong. I was already home by the time I opened it so there was no point in driving back. Overall disappointing visit. read more

Friendly convenience store that sells drinks, made to order sandwiches, snacks, lottery, etc. seems clean and reliable for a quick stop on the way to where you are going. They have most but not all of what you are looking for .. They don't sell birthday candles. read more

I normally don't write a review for convenience stores, but the staff was awesome! Today, October 5, 2017, I went in to order a $3 sub. The Deli staff was truly amazing! Very very friendly!! I wish I remembered all their names so that's why I posted the date so they can hopefully get some recognition. I don't live around the area, but might potentially be passing this location on my way to work. Guess where I'll make sure my pit stop will be.... THIS LOCATION! Usually, I love going here. I go here multiple times a week and I've never had a bad experience-- until yesterday that is. Cashiers need to mind their own business. I recently got a tattoo and it is in the healing process, therefore it does not look the best. A cashier proceeded to comment on it and tell me I needed a "touch up". He then told me my tattoo artist is wrong about his professional career and I was very offended by this. You work at Quick Chek, you are not a tattoo artist. This experience made me not want to return to this location. Stick to your job and do not comment on my healing tattoo! DISCLAIMER*** All other staff are great! Man, what happened to QC??? They used to be excellent at making sandwiches and were always reasonably priced. I just bought a roast beef on rye in Bedminster and there were 2 pieces of meat and 1 slice of cheese. That was never the case 5-10 yrs ago.
