My…read morehusband is on multiple medications and they manage to eliminate, be out of stock, etc. he had a new order for insulin and they told me it was on backorder and I would have to go to a different pharmacy, but I was gonna have to call around myself because they didn't have time to do that. When I called the other Arnold Walgreens. the pharmacist on Jeffco informed me that Vogel absolutely had a replacement for it and could have filled it. There was a generic option and generic was approved by the physician. Vogel was just too lazy to do that. Insulin is an extremely important medicine for a diabetic and no one even cared and didn't even call us when they didn't fill it. There has never any communication about anything from them. It's all hit and miss without any clinical thought involved. Someone higher up should look into this Pharmacy. I am an advanced degree nurse and I've spoken to them several times about the mistakes they make and the medications they failed to provide without notification. They never care.

Other pharmacies treat you like a second class citizen and act like they are doing you a favor just to fill your order. I can drop off an order with MS and they will have it in 5 minutes. None of this "20-30 minutes" line you get at other stores where they want you to shop while you are waiting. Also, Ted will paitiently explain about your medicine and answer any questions you have - without a big lecture. Give this place a try! They act like they WANT and appreciate your business.

Tech said that I could not get refill as it was not authorized. I assured her Dr had called it in and authorized it for pick up today. She checked and said yes that is correct but the pharmacist said she could not have it. I waited and the pharmacist came to the drive up window and said that although the doctor had authorized the pick up today, my sister has a habit of getting this refill 2-3 days early. I said yes the Dr is aware and he is comfortable that she can have the script and authorized it for pick up. The pharmacist said she would personally need to talk with the dr and make sure he knew that he authorized the pick up it was 2 days before normal. Again this is at 5:30pm today. The pharmacist said the doctor had to personally call her. My sister is leaving for spring break. This is a sleeping pill. So, no sleeping pill for my sis tonight. Who can I talk with at Walgreens? I am beyond disappointed with the level of care and service that was provided to my sister. This pharmacist could have given her the needed medicine that the DOCTOR AUTHORIZED and let her know next time she needed to PERSONALLY talk with the doctor. Seriously? Apparently the pharmacist is not like an MD who takes an oath to "do not harm". Who can I escalate this to at Walgreens Corporate.
