The store is neat and well stocked, and getting vaccines was a breeze. However, the pharmacy service is the worst I've experienced. They seem overworked (and I hate that for them), but that is no excuse for rudeness and not transferring medication (which has been my experienced.) Recommend shopping there, but use another pharmacy, if possible. read more

This is my local Walgreens- I find that it's ALWAYS neat and looks very organized. Other than that, it's just your normal Walgreens. I will say that one big perk is that it's open until midnight, which is great when you have an emergency and need to buy a pharmacy over the counter item late at night. read more

This location of Walgreens sits a couple of miles off of 285 on Cascade Road, and while I don't frequent this location, I will say that if I am ever in need of anything Walgreens specific, I will make sure to go out of my way to avoid this location. This review is all service related, as a Walgreen's I will say that the store seemed well stocked and clean upon my visit. Sadly, that is just not enough to have me visit again. We visited this location, which is about 15 miles from us, on two different occasions over one weekend for the purpose of Covid testing and both were met with atrocious service at the pharmacy window, in the store and on the phone. As mentioned, both trips stemmed from Covid testing, as this was a site where you could get drive thru testing. Upon booking, we followed the detailed and directed process which was booked online, waited on the confirmation and then went at the scheduled time. The first trip was met with "we don't see your name", even after I provided the Walgreen's email with my name and confirmation number, and appointment details. This was was met with a shoulder shrug and not an ounce of concern or willingness to assist beyond that moment. The gentleman legit wrote me off at that moment and turned around from the pharmacy window leaving me in silence and with no other option but to drive off. The next day my partner went to his scheduled appointment and was told they weren't doing the test on that day...even after he booked and took one of the few remaining appointments for the day. Again, he was met with an unconcerned, unapologetic or resourceful employee. Another shoulder shrug and we were off again. Given the situation that brought us to them TWICE, you would think they would be somewhat helpful, but instead they were the worst examples of a Walgreens associate I have ever encountered. Following these two situations, we of course called to escalate our concerns given the nature of our visits and somehow the call was pushed back to the store, where the first unhelpful associate took it upon themselves to call us back and explain to us that there was nothing he could do and what did we want. Honestly, it was all really bizarre, especially for a Walgreens. This location does not embody the culture of care that other locations do. However, given the additional lack of response from corporate, I am done with the Walgreens brand all together, which is sad because I have a several near my home...but I will travel out of the way for a better, caring and trustworthy experience. read more

Once again Walgreens on Cascade and the shenanigans! People use a retail pharmacy for many different reasons but the main reason is the PHARMACY! Advising me to drive farther does not help! This is the last straw for me I will be taking my prescriptions to CVS at least they're open and they are consistent with they're hours. Please do better people!!! read more

If only there were less stars to rate this store. Called around 11:30 am to make sure my prescription was filled before heading to the store. Customer rep was dry and rude for what reason I'm not sure. Made me feel like I was bothering her at work. Employees surely give off a feeling of them not wanting to work or not wanting to help. I would not recommend this location for anything. Unprofessional and customer service is beyond horrible. This store needs all new employees especially in the pharmacy department. I can only imagine how the elders feel when they call or walk into the store. Safe to say I am changing pharmacy locations to another company due to disrespectful staff. read more

Unacceptable! After carefully scheduling a Covid test appointment within a required timeframe I needed, I showed up for my appointment on time. I had to wait 15 minutes in the drive-through line, When I arrived at the window I was informed their system was down and they could not administer the test. This is horribly unprofessiona they did not notify me to let me know. Not only am I unable to schedule another timely test, I took time off from work to make sure I didn't miss this appointment. All of my contact information was current and making the appointment. They should have contacted me. Completely unacceptable I would not recommend utilizing this location when you require reliable service. read more

When another location doesn't have an item I am looking for, I always call this one. Not sure if its the urban location, or the fact that getting into this location causes one to have to wait on a couple of lights or make a u-turn, but either way, its normally has items that other locations are sold out of or didn't receive. The front-end staff can be hit or miss. I've had people be extremely helpful and others that have made me ask, why are you working with the public. read more

I wish that I could give this store negative stars. There are so many problems I do not know where to begin. From the photo department to the pharmacy, the service is painstakingly slow and lacks normal courtesy. They are always understaffed or improperly managed. Drove across town to have a special prescription filled. Asked the young lady at the window BEFORE I drove away if they filled this type of prescription and she assured me they did. She told me to come back in two hours and it'd be ready. About an hour later, I get a call from someone at the pharmacy apologizing but they don't fill "my type of prescription" at that location. I asked why I was told they did and she said "we used to ... about 2 years ago!" I was very specific and even asked if the person needed to find out for sure before I drove away. She was "sure". There is only 1 person in the pharmacy that has HORRIBLE customer service. I work in CS so I know the toll it takes to be nice to people and help when I can. This one young girl, not lady, is rude EVERY TIME I come up there. It's at the point where I do not anything to do with this company. How she can still work there is seriously beyond me!! Since my last review, things didn't go exactly to plan. I still needed a local pharmacy, so I have continued to give Walgreen's my business. Interestingly, I haven't had a problem since! I don't know if it was the staff at the time or what, but everyone since then has been very helpful and there haven't been any issues with my refills. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The night "manager" on duty LIED to my face about working to get my prescription document I had turned in early that day. To which I found her "organizing candy bags" when she said she was calling the pharmacy manager. I came back to pick up my medication to be told the pharmacist did not come and no one would becoming until 8am the next morning. I am from out of state and needed this medication immediately. Congratulations Walgreens, you have permanently lost a customer and you can thank "Shaleshia" and your night security guard (who also inappropriately glared and flirted with my colleagues who immediately felt uncomfortable). I live 10 minutes from Walgreens on Cascade via car or Taxi. I am a senior and do not have a car at present. Mostly I take taxi's to Walgreen and shop while the meter is running. There has not been one time, no mater the time of day, that I have gone there and there was a long line with only one cashier, or the cashier did not have change, or the manager was never available. This store is always under staffed. The manager is also not available when I go home and call him/her on the telephone. The staff are courteous, so I can't blame them. I don't have this problem when I shop Walgreens at Camp Creek. The Cascade Walgreens is in as predominately Black neighborhood, wonder if that has anything to do with the poor service? read more

I just had surgery and arrive here (drive thru) an hour later for my prescription. I hand the associate the prescription from my doctor, my insurance card, and my license. I'm told it will be another hour and 45 mins for the meds, even though I thought the hospital called it in already. Maybe not, fine. I am given back my license and told to return when the meds are ready. I ask for my insurance card back, the lady says I never gave it to her. Bewildered, I confirm that I did hand that to her along with my prescription, which is what she used to look me up in the system in the first place. With the worst customer service possible, the associate insists that I never gave her my insurance card and argues with us for the next 10 minutes. Then she walks away from the window and hides in hopes that we would leave. When my wife buzzed the window for her to return, the argument continues. I asked her if I never gave her my insurance card (which is a standard request) how does she even know I have insurance? She says because I was already in the system. Mind you, earlier she asked me if I had ever been to this Walgreens before and also asked me if I was a "Jr." After requesting an expedited service, we're told I can wait inside for 35 minutes. Wife has to pick up kids from school and I can't physically wait and walk myself home. So now I'm forced to leave without the medication I need and I will be in too much pain to drive myself back. Plus I no longer have my insurance card and will have to order a new one. Whenever we do go back, I wonder if they will even give me the medication since I don't have an insurance card now.
