The store, however, is fairly well stocked - there were a few sale items that I came in for that were not available but I still managed to get most things on my list. The issue was that I didn't receive the register rewards that I earned. I was already in the car when I looked at my receipt. I was missing $16. I went back into the store but the clerk had no idea how to resolve the issue. Even though it was their mistake, the onus was on me to show each offer and each item that I purchased that fulfilled the offer. I did finally receive my rewards but I wonder how many other people get home and realize the store's mistake - I'm sure I'm not the only person this has happened to. Just avoid my frustration, check your receipt before leaving the store. Or, do what I'm going to do, shop somewhere else.

Star staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. They may be busy with someone ahead of me but I never feel rushed when discussing my medications. The staff is caring and makes me feel valued. They're also great problem solvers and don't mind to call your doc for a refill. I've not noticed an increase in prescription price but if there is one I'd happily pay it to be treated well! Highly recommend! Bad service is Walgreens and CVS in South Huntsville. Star is like a spa experience compared to the others. Thank you Star pharmacy BC! You guys rock! Wanting to avoid the dreaded Wal Mart across the street, we opted for SHMP to get some Claritin for sweet Momma. The pharmacy is super dark, tinted windows maybe? from the outside and I wasn't sure they were open, so I walked to the door and voila, yes, they were open until 6:15, it was around 5:00 when we got there. Kind of odd to me, but perfectly fine, the staff has to "buzz" you in, meaning they see you at the entrance and then push a button to allow you to enter. Also you push a door button device to exit. The entire staff were so friendly and helpful, juggling phone calls, a lengthy drive through line and me as the sole customer inside. I inquired about petroleum free lip balm products for sweet Momma, since she uses 02, and the sweet female helping me went above and beyond to a. check their stock on hand, talk to the pharmacist, and do a lengthy computer search to find out a. what was available and b. re-confirm the ingredient list with the pharmacist. Wow! You don't often see that level of detailed, thorough service these days! She asked how many I wanted, which was 1, and said she would order 4 to keep some in stock. I asked about the price and she said, "It's $8.00 but I'm only going to charge you $5.00 because $8.00 is too much." I thought I heard her wrong, but I didn't; seriously, she reduced the price! This was on a Tuesday, and she said they would have them the next day, adding they do offer delivery service on Tuesday and Thursdays. The only negative thing I could say about this pharmacy is it was a cluttered mess in the interior. Of course, I didn't mention it, but the sweet young lady helping me, commented on the fact they were trying to re-organize or something to that effect. I highly recommend SHMP, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff who put the "in person" customer before the phone calls! Oh, and I didn't see a cell phone in sight - that was refreshing, too! They always refill my prescriptions and have them ready even when I forget to call them in. They also have better prices on items not covered by insurance. They fill in a fraction of the time it takes big name pharmacies to get them done and I never wait. So it's always worth the 12 minute drive it takes me to get over there.

The other: Depending upon your likes/dislikes, self checkout is likely your only choice.
