This was my "home" Walgreens before I moved. I went here for my prescriptions, annual flu vaccine, and other health care needs. I recently had to go this pharmacy when my new pharmacy couldn't fill a prescription. This Walgreens was able to fill the prescription and get it to me quickly. I find their app to be extremely helpful. I can schedule vaccine appointments and order prescription refills easily from the app. I enjoy that they have apparel and other items from the local high schools. A portion of those sales are given back to the schools. I have also had a positive experience at the photo department. My parents still order their Christmas cards here. The rest of the store is ridiculously overpriced and I avoid it when I can. I recommend this Walgreens for all of your health care needs. read more

Normally, I'm disappointed in this Walgreens, however the pharmacy technician went above the call of duty and called various Walgreens to find one of my medications, because they're were out of stock. She even called a competitor and found it. Thank you Kelly! read more

Until recently I have had zero experience with Walgreens pharmacy, but two new prescriptions were sent to this store. The first issue is that it takes the pharmacy days to fill a prescription where in both cases common unremarkable drugs. The second issue is related to screwing the order interpreting three rounds of 90 pills, as 90 total to be filled 30 at a time. Unfortunately I'm done not waiting for the third strike, moving my prescriptions back to a local Osco Drug where in many years my family has never had... One. Issue. read more

I had a coupon from my mobile app, in which the aisle have a poster saying to download the app for a $10 discount. Showed it to the cashier and said they dont accept coupons from online which is total bs cause their store recommended to download the app for coupons. Or maybe the cashier is just lazy and dont want to apply em. Very rude customer service too. read more

Pharmacy Manager is a meglomaniac who chooses to override both insurance AND physician approval, and refuse to release medications that have been prescribed in the same amounts, by the same doctor, and filled within insurance guidelines, without incident for over half-dozen years. Pharmacy Manager forced the Pharmacy staff, who I had grown to Trust over 12 years, to Lie to Me, a monthly patron of 12 years. He had NO LEGAL REASON to do so, and although he is being reported to higher-ups, AVOID THIS PHARMACY AT ALL COSTS!!!! read more

I see why people gave it bad reviews. I just moved nearby from Chicago and I loved going to Walgreens for everything including prescriptions. I like the easy of using express pay and Apple pay. Easy and simple in and out. When I went to this location, I was expecting the same level of service and ease for my shopping needs. I was surprised by how dirty the store appears and how the pharmacy was so backed up. They promised me my prescription would be filled in 30 min so I left and came back. Sadly, they said they were behind and it would be another hour! Really? I couldn't keep coming back so I left and maybe I'll be able to get it at the end of the day. Meanwhile I really feel awful without the medication that I need. I will never go here again. Get it together! read more

Can I do zero stars for them? This Walgreens pharmacy is hands down the worst one. Not only do I have multiple negative experiences ranging from bitchy employees to wrong information, but today I got a call from Walgreens saying my prescription is ready. I don't have a car and recently moved so I ubered there, since it's my day off, for $17 (one way) and wait in line just to find out that they accidentally told me the refill was ready and I couldn't pick it up yet. I'm not sure what we'd go to Walgreens for, if not for the pharmacy (quick, random purchases, obviously, but that's never really been an issue before), and over the years it's become a bit of a chore to do even that. For several years (and by several, I mean at least a decade or more), at least two to three people in my family have been prescribed Schedule IV - II drugs (of course, these numbers get changed around every so often). Walgreens always seems to be having some sort of issue with either remembering to call the doctor to confirm that it is, in fact, okay to refill the prescription (one of these doctors dates the prescriptions specifically to avoid this), or contacting the insurance to make sure they'll cover it (like they always do). The problem with this is, they wait until after they've called us to say that a prescription is ready to be picked up (and they never say which one it is), so that they can tell us in person that we're only being given partial quantities; that they can't give any of it to us for [insert reason here]; or sometimes, a couple days after we've dropped the script off, they don't have any of the medication in stock, and it'll be a few more days. This is the Walgreens location I used most frequently and my main pharmacy location. The pharmacy is typically busy and there is usually a wait. The wait is usually only a few minutes. The store itself is a good size and the aisles are clean. The check out is normally easy and quick even when they are busy. Overall this is a convenient location and the store associates are friendly. read more

This is the closest Walgreens to my house. If it wasn't down the street, I would never come here. But since it's my neighborhood Walgreens, I'm here whenever I need something small. The problem I have with this location is that their beauty selection has mislabeled signs. You spend ages looking for a product, comparing the different brands. You think it's on sale but then you go to the register and the sale sign was in the wrong place. And the employees won't adjust the price, probably because they are never at a register until there's a line 3 deep. Overall, I find this location overpriced. I've found better deals at other Walgreens and definitely at other drugstores. read more

The store manager here is a jerk and it sounds like it trickles down. Went in one day late for a sale and he said he gave the price to me then he would have to for everyone...well why not? Went to the one in BG and the manager gave it to me no prob. Also saw and elderly woman trying to exchange reading glasses...he gave her such a hard time and she was so embarrassed by him that her elderly husband had to come and.calm her. This is a very busy location so be prepared to wait. It doesn't help that the woman who usually works at the pharmacy counter is really overworked by the amount of customers going through there, or it might be that she just hates dealing with people. She might benefit from some of the meds there. Or management could splash out and get some more help! read more

Completely changed my mind about the pharmacy. There is a disconnect between the actual pharmacists and their computer system. My doctor's office called in a prescription on Monday, and I got an email from Walgreens the same day telling me the Rx would be ready on Thursday. So I go in on Thursday, and she tells me they returned it to the shelf on Wednesday - because it had been waiting for more than 7 days! When I pointed out how wrong this is, she said, "We don't have any control over the computer, emails or phone calls." What?!? I'll just transfer all my prescriptions over to a more professional and reliable pharmacy. read more

Shop here all the time because it's close, even though the cashiers are generally very, VERY slow. Tonight my wife and I (we're 59 and 48) tried to buy wine with a bunch of other stuff. Cashier asked us for ID. Wife didn't have hers. Cashier said we couldn't buy the wine. Talked to manger. Nope. Stupid. Idiotic. Jewel is another block away.
